Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. it is on lunar january 1st.

On new year’s eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. there are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink likejuice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. after dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. we have a wonderful evening on new year’s eve.

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. after breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. on the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

I Don’t Like Spring Festival Any More

Spring Festival was my favorite Chinese festival when I was a child. At that time, I had a great time. Every year at that time I could dress new clothes, get lucky money from relatives and seldom receive criticism from my mother. Everything seems such wonderful. However, as I grow up, I find Spring Festival is less and less interesting. I just feel that as usual. What’s worse, with the fireworks, I find Spring Festival is a noisy festival. So I don’t like it any more.

在我还是个孩子的时候春节是我最喜欢的中国节日。那时候，我过得很开心。每一年那个时我都可以穿新衣服，从亲戚那里得到压岁钱而且很少被妈妈批评。所有的事情好像是那么的美好。然而，随着我的成长，我越来越觉得春节已变得无趣。我只是觉得它就像平时一样。而且，我觉得因为烟花爆竹，春节变成了一个嘈杂的节日。所以我不再喜欢它了。

新年到了，大年初一的早晨我和爸爸、妈妈去爷爷、奶奶家拜年，到了家里给爷爷、奶奶磕头拜年，奶奶发给了我一个大红包。

奶奶端上了热腾腾的饺子，告诉我饺子里面包了两枚代表好运气的硬币，谁能吃到新的一年就能交好运。我吃了很多，可一直没有吃到那代表好运的硬币。

到了中午，我大伯父、大伯母带着兰兰姐姐来了。在吃饭的时候，我和兰兰姐姐两个人比赛吃饺子，看看谁能吃到硬币，吃到一半的时候，被大伯吃到了一个，我想：还有一个，我一定能吃到!可等到吃完饭，大家都没有吃到，唉!看来只能等到晚上了。

到了晚上吃饭的时候，最后一个硬币却被兰兰姐姐给吃到了，看来今年的好运硬币我是没希望吃到了。但是我有信心明年好运硬币一定是我的。

虽然没有吃到好运硬币，但是我的心情却很高兴，因为我和全家人在一起过了一个快乐的新年。

春天来了，燕子从南方归来了， 它一身乌黑亮丽的羽毛，一双俊俏轻盈的翅膀，在天空中啄着树枝准备回家重新建巢。

每年春节，我们一家三口都要回到爷爷奶奶家去住几天，今年也不例外。腊月二十八那天，我们回到了爷爷奶奶家。一到家，我先跟爷爷奶奶问声好，然后就急忙跳下车子，去看鸡和鸭有没有生蛋，小兔子还在不在。然后拿出铲子去铲雪，不一会儿就把雪全铲完了。邻居们都夸我很能干。我本来一回家就要帮爷爷奶奶种田的，可是现在田里全是白雪，根本不能种田。
