Hello everyone and good morning! I am very privileged to be given this platform by the professor and really happy to introduce myself. My name is XX, 19 years old, from XXX, which is a very beautiful place!I am very happy coming to XXX and able to study with you all for the next 4 years. We are all from every corner of the country, which is a kind of fate. I like reading, playing computer and also love the subject of maths.

But unfortunately, we dont have this subject here.My ideal is to be a director and one day be able to make my own movies. Therefore I have chosen this major and I have every confidence that I shall do very well.I believe that all of you have chosen the same subject must share the same love with me. As a sophomore, I am feeling the time flies. Recalling about the past one year, so many thoughts are flooding in my mind. At this time, I just can’t tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday!

When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory! I saw something sad in my father’s eyes, maybe that time he thought of the poor condition! So with a big smile on my face, I told my father” it doesn’t matter, Dad. In this kind of condition, I will get myself better!” My father felt better. And then I came to my dormitory 303. I considered that I would spend four years here (in fact I moved to another one year later) and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Sichuan and they were chatting with a happy voice, but I can’t understand them! Again, I felt myself isolated! I hated that kind of feeling, and then I said to hello to them! To my surprise they are very friendly to me and warm-hearted! I no longer felt afraid. And I got along well with them. But at the first night here, I burst out to tears for that I was missing my family. I don’t know why. Everyday when I was at home, I was just eager to go to school, to experience the wonderful college life but when coming here, I am just eager to go back! It’s quite strange though, you must know this kind of feeling!

Just spending about 2 days here, we were on our way to military train. To us, it’s a fresh train and a kind of experience to know the life between the classmates. But to me, I was nervous but excited. This was my first and precious train life because before going to school I have been staying with my family. So, you know, it’s just this kind of feeling I can’t convey it clearly! The train life is impressive on everybody; we had a lot of activities, for example giving a speech on a stage or singing together or playing basketball. At that time, I felt myself so little among them. All of them have a special talent but not me. I admired them but meanwhile jealousy. Why don’t I have this kind of talent? Am I stupid? I always said to myself. So that time I was also very ambitious, just eager to catch up with them. Except the classmates, the trainer in our team also left a deep impression on me! He was not very handsome and very kind. Just because of his kindness results in my laughter when training. He always said to me that I should be serious in the team but I didn’t listen to him. So after a long time, when investigating the training result, I gave them a disappointing answer. The highest trainer sent me to clean the toilet, although, it didn’t means insulting to my dignity, but I was really sad about myself and my heart was hurt. That was a small thing but told me that I need to be serious to one thing. And unhappiness passed, the happy and funny time recalled me that folding the blanket. Yeah, it’s really very funny. Most of us had never folded the blanket and naturally we can’t accomplish the task well. When the monitor came, we pleased him to help us to fold the blanket. To our expect, we managed to persuade the monitor. After the monitor finished the task for me. I dared not to touch the blanket again and just used the clothes instead of the blanket. Of course, I felt very cold in deep night, so to my instinct, I crashed into my classmate’s blanket. And we were scratching the single blanket fiercely, just like a war. Low carbon life is not so difficult as it heard to be. It is among our daily life. For example, do not drive your own car when you can just take a bus. There are five classroom buildings and five dining-halls on the campus. The classrooms are big and bright. And each of them is large enough for sixty students to study in. Behind the main classroom building stands the college library, where both the teachers and students are busy borrowing and returning books every day. I usually go there once a week for borrowing and returning books. Our college life is rich and interesting. On the one hand, we have many experienced teachers, sufficient books, scientific apparatus, and instruments to help our studies. On the other hand, we are encouraged to take part in many college activities such as seminars, parties,talks, sportsmeets, visiting factories, etc. Basketball and volleyball matches are held almost weekly.

大学第一节课，很让人期待。很认真的预习了，一节课下来发现大学老师讲课竟是那样随意辽阔，不再需要盯着书本看，也用不着手忙脚乱的抄笔记。老师所讲的知识远超过课本的印刷体字。大学老师大多很有个性，讲课就像在聊天却又胜似聊天，又仿佛是在表演一般生动引人。但也不免会遇到几位很古典的老师，讲课犹如催眠。尽管如此，我也还是会规规矩矩到位，大一大抵都是这般循规蹈矩。

大一课很少，自由支配的时间多得总让人空虚得很。为了打发时间，整个宿舍集体出动，将桂林市的大街小巷摸个遍。六人一行，顾不得路人灼热的目光，肆意谈笑，好不痛快。每逢节假日，便穿梭于各个大小公园，到最后听到公园两字都会怕。大学第一次期考是最让人紧张的，老师上课随意惯了，从不按书出牌，只好找上一届的师兄师姐取经。资料不管有没有用，照样一叠一叠地复印，人手一份。尽管前辈们都已告知考试易过，战战兢兢地背熟了还是止不住的惶恐。最后结果证明了大学考试确实无需太过紧张。就这样，大一结束了。

大二有了大一的基础后踏实多了，也圆滑多了。在迎接新生时，望着那一张张与当初的自己同样青涩而满怀期待的面孔，心里满是欣慰与怜惜。想当年，我也是这么过来的。如今作为老生的我，在耐心地为他们引路，热心地帮他们整理行李想，细心地为他们讲解注意事项。闲聊中时不时插一两句“当初我也是这样过来的”“没关系，慢慢就会习惯了”“有需要的话可以到宿舍找我”。大一时不绝于耳的话语如今也从我口中发出。相信一年之后他们也会这样脱口而出。

偶尔偷一下懒，无聊的课程总会逃那么一两节。大二是最忙碌的，课程多，社团活动也多，各种等级考试也很多，常常忙得晕头转向的。一个星期本还有那么两天可以小憩，不是奉献给了党就是被计算机二级培训课程占据了。连续不断的培训课程，一坐就是一天，想不晕都难啊！天天都在忙，到底在忙些什么自己也说不清楚。普通话二甲、英语四级、六级、计算机一级、二级等等各种证书握在手里，才知道大二其实也不是瞎忙。大二也就这么走过来了。

转眼已是大三的我，回望过去的一幕幕恍如昨日那样清晰深刻。仿佛只是弹指一瞬，却不知不觉地过了两年。又是一批新生入学，操场上、校道上，到处都是迷彩服在移动。大片大片的，在炽热的阳光下是那样耀眼鲜活。一阵高过一阵的集训声在诺大的校园里飘荡着。望着他们被汗水尽头的衣衫，晒黑得发光的脸蛋，突然间很是羡慕，但更多的是遗憾。大学就那么一次的军训都错过了，实在可惜。舍友却一脸不屑：“有什么好可惜的，没事找那罪受干啥！”我只能苦笑，望望那片迷彩心想：“真的是在受罪吗？”

大三已是老油条了，对什么事也都提不起当初的新鲜感和勇气了。想起舍友的那句话：“我想早恋，却发现自己已经老了！”看着每天擦肩而过的青涩面孔，突然觉得自己真的已经老了。再没有大一时的冲动易怒了，心经过两年的沉淀也已安稳了不少。如今课程少了，听课也不如以前那样上心了。又感觉到自己尚无什么技艺在身就与舍友一同去参加兴趣班学埙，每天下了课就在宿舍里练上半个小时。也怪难为舍友们那么淡定，每日都要忍受那么一段时间的噪音干扰。

大三最多的就是感慨，感慨时光已逝，感慨之前的无知。大一是在闲暇中度过的，大二是在忙碌中度过的，大三则是在感慨中度过的。青葱岁月就这样无声无息的流逝了。我的大学生活如今已过了四分之三，剩下的四分之一，我会好好珍惜，珍惜着人生中最美好的时光。

大学，那个曾经我梦了无数次的地方。寒窗苦读十几年，就是为了走进那梦想起航的地方，摸一摸那历尽沧桑石柱，感知知识的力量。

可是，残忍的现实却狠狠地把我敲醒了。那个我打心底里崇拜的和蔼可亲的老爷爷——大学校长，竟然玩起了权术。那个思想的天堂，我的大学，快要被那股黑暗的飓风捣鼓得乌烟瘴气了。

不是这样，不该是这样的。

我向往的，是不用闹钟就能按时起床，和好朋友们一起去锻炼，然后贪心地大大地吸一口清新的空气。暖暖的太阳抚摸我的脸，像向日葵般绚烂。

我向往的，是能够听到琅琅的读书声，中华语言最具魅力，平平仄仄平平，读起来饶有韵味。

我向往的，是大家能够坐在一起激烈的讨论问题，但不是像高中那样，空气中氤氲的是紧张的气氛，一切的一切只是为了升学，而是跟着兴趣去探索，也许也会像王羲之那样吃了加料馒头。

我向往的，是能够安静地坐在偌大的图书馆靠窗的位置，捧起一本本我爱的书籍，嗅一嗅那淡淡的墨香，每本书都看了一遍又一遍。天空中有一抹永远也挥之不去的蓝色，像深不见底的海水的颜色，红通通的太阳每天透过闪亮的玻璃窗照到我的脸上，然后慢慢地舒展开来，浸到整个屋子，像一株诡异生长的植物。

我向往的，是能够在饭后林荫小道上散步时，能听到爽朗的笑声，动听的歌声……这是，活力的声音。没有条条框框的束缚，校园里散发出的是青春的气息，惹得百花都争相齐放。

我向往的，是有好多大型的活动，舞台剧，飞扬新声，T台秀，义卖……每一次的活动都是锻炼我们的一个机会，我们不仅敢在舞台上说，还敢面对全世界说：这是我的时代由我给你未来，满腔的蒸气已在冒烟，我准备好要世界汗颜。

我向往的，是有一位和蔼可亲的小老头。位高权重，是主宰庞大学院的校长，但却平易近人，40岁的人，20岁的心，经常和我们闹在一块儿。他从不滥用私权，见到行贿的人能躲多远就躲多远，他总说那句岁月都蹉跎不掉的话：做人还是清廉点好。

我向往的，是有一群肯努力为教育事业奉献的老师，只要一根粉笔，一块黑板，就能传授知识，那些所谓的多媒体，会让知识失去原始的味道。他们是一群思想独立的老师，教师对他们来说不是职业，不是一种养家糊口的工具，而是用尽一生想去完成的事业。

我向往的，是有一群奋发向上的同学，他们从不拿家里一分钱，坚持自己打工赚学费;他们勤俭节约，从不浪费;他们才华横溢，却愿意当又苦又累的砖头工。他们不是家里穷困潦倒，只是觉得自己该有的担当;他们不是甘于平凡，只是牢牢记住了那句话：大学的学院教育不是为了求职，而是为了生活。

这就是我想要的大学生活，一个跟政治，跟歪风永远挂不上钩的自由的生活。

Last sunday, Mr.Lee got up very early to go fishing.

He spent the whole day sitting beside the river but got nothing at the end of the day.

Therefore, Mr.Lee was very dissapointed due to that he had to go home by dinner time.

On his way home, Lee thought that his wife might be mad at him for bringing nothing back.

So he bought a big fish at the market before he got home.

At least, he was happy finally for what he could bring home.

My winter holiday life

I have a good time this winter holiday. During the Spring Festival, I am so happy to see some relatives and friends.

I like sports, so I usually do exercise in the morning or in the afternoon. I think this will be help for my health, so I keep doing exercise everyday.

After the lunch, I often go to the book store to read some interesting books. I like the books which tell the stories about some famous people.

In my spear time, I will do my homework,, watch some TV shows, playing computer games and so on.

The winter holiday is going to finish, it is time to go to school again. I miss this holiday so much..

It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my

classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time

but do not know what to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in

college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful.

In the first semester in college, I didnt relax and I still worked hard as

I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I

went to the classroom forautonomous learning.But the difference is that I have

many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner

regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make

friends with common interests.

Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union, I

have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other.

Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together.

During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us

go further.

Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show ones

abilities. In college, I know more about our society and get more channels to

explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an

adult who is preparing to step into the society.

In short, I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make

it colorful as well as meaningful.

Our school life

Our shool is big and nice.There are about one thousand students in our school. Every day we have four lessons in the morning and three lessons in the afternoon. Our morning lessons begin at half past eight and we finish school at four oclock We take the same subjects at school. Such as Chinese, maths, Englsh, PE and so on.The school day is long. But we love our school life.

军训是步入大学必须要经历的一项考验，所有人对军训的印象都是烈日炎炎，枯燥乏味的动作练习，直到最后达到标准。这已经成为了我们的思维定式，但也总会有些东西来打破我们的思维，比如下雨。

在我们训练之初，天气凉爽似乎是上天的眷顾，尤其是第二天，下了一天的雨，让我们充分休息了一天。这样在我们心里上已经有了放松，训练就这样最好。可是之后的几天确实艳阳高照，在这样的天气下，同学们的抱怨也接踵而至，抱怨炎热的天气，抱怨狠毒的太阳，以至于大家没有心情训练，更不能享受军训，军训也成了我们的负担。

在这种情况下，我们应该选择面对现实，接受现状，不要因为一些意外忘了事物本身的样子。下雨只是军训天气中的一个意外，出现了是我们的运气，不出现是正常。坦然接受军训才是我们应有的状态，不要去埋怨，不要去怨恨，要享受现在的军训，它也许不能让你的颜值提高，不能让你获得更多的书本知识，但它却能够锻炼你的身体，增强你的意志力，丰富你的内心，让你在军训生活中感受军营的魅力，收获更多的情义。另外，与军训的生活相比，我们更能体会到平时生活的幸福，让我们更能学会满足，珍惜现在！

不去抱怨，不去怨恨，享受军训，享受生活，珍惜当下活在当下！
