The emigrants are no longer poor students only with a resolution to bring back to their motherland cutting edge science and technology overseas, instead they wave goodbyes to China taking with them substantial wealth and many of them are still top-notch intellectuals. It is almost certain that, from this perspective, emigration will undermine China on the way to her rise. However, in my perspective of view, this kind of migration will in some way make China much more influential in the world. The current western world still knows China too little, especially in terms of common citizens. Citing India for example, we can see a similar tide took place in India in the 60’s, which once drew attention and concerns in Indian government and society. Several decades later, these Indian emigrants still keep in bond with their motherland, and improve the image of Indians, thus lift the status of India in the world. So I expect Chinese emigrants will also contribute to China’s success in a different but profound way.

Migration tide this time indicates that China, who is on the way of great economy increase, still has more flaws to be perfected, when compared with some developed countries. But we needn’t worry too much. Maybe it’s not a bad thing when looking back several decades later.

Life is blending with bitter and sweet. Sometimes we may feel blue and don’t know what to do, but you just need to cheer up and find the true happiness in your life. Everyone is longing for happiness. But what is happiness? Different people have different opinions to happiness. Some people think making large sum of money and spending all of it on big mansion, expensive food, pretty clothes and fancy cars make them happy; some people think marry to the people they love and live a plain life is happiness, even though they can not afford a bigger house or a brand-new car；And some other people think that don’t need to go to work and sleep in the bed until the noon is happiness. Apparently, the definition of happiness varies from person to person.

For me, staying in good health and have a long vacation without homework is happiness. Good health is the foundation of happiness. Picture this, if I sick, I will go to the hospital, and there are a lot of funny things I can’t do because I feel uncomfortable. I will lose my appetite for the delicious food, and have no strength to go outside to play with my friends. What’s worse, in order to cure the illness, I will sallow countless pills and some of them may have side effects. Only a well function body can ensure the life to be happy. While a long vacation will give me affluent time to do the things I want to. If I can spend my time to do the things I want instead of homework, I definitely will be very happy. I really love traveling; I plan to go to Tibet on next long vacation. To see the beautiful scenes of the different places can broaden my horizon and enrich my life experience. I wish everybody find their happiness in life.

HuangMei is  my  hometown. It is  in  the  East  in  HuBei.It is East  on  the  city  named  AnQing  of   AnHui.And it is  south to   the  city  named  JiuJiang  of  JiangXi. It  is  a    great city  in  my  heart.It  has  a long  history for about  1800 years  in  China .Example .The  temple  named  SiZu  and  WuZu were   in  HuangMei for a  long  years-old.Today,Every  year  many   visitor  come  different part  to  there.As  a  daughter  from Huangmei.I  leaved it away  for  about  seven  years. But  I miss it everyday .Even  in  a lot of  my  dream  in  the  night  .I belive HuangMei will  be  richer and  richer .The  new  year  2009  will going .Tonight  I  hope  everything  will  be  well  in  my  new 26  years-old.All  my friends  will be  well.I  must  work  hard in   the new  year.I will be ain growth as  my  hometown .

中文：我的故乡在黄梅.黄梅位于湖北省的东部，它东接安徽省安庆府，南邻江西省九江市.在我心中，它是一座伟大的县城.它在中国史上约有1800余年的历史，像闻名遐迩的四祖寺，五祖寺在黄梅有很长时间的历史了.每年，都有来自不同地域的许多游客去那.我自离开故乡已是七载余，但是我却每天思念故乡，以致在梦里都是如此.作为从黄梅走出来的女儿，我坚信我的故乡会越来越富饶.新的2009就要来临，今晚我祝福新的一年将万事顺利，我所有的朋友都好.在新的26岁年轮里，我必须努力工作，我会像我的家乡一样成长.

I am so looking forward to my college life. I have pictured it thousands of

times in my mind. The free lifestyle and lively parties are always appearing my

mind. The great expectation of campus life endows me a lot of passion to keep

study. After two years’ study, I would find my lifestyle.

The first thing for me is to learn more knowledge. Most students find a way

to release themselves and skip or sleep in the class. They think study is just

the task, so they give up improving themselves and take part in all kinds of

activities, which bring them great joy. The wrong conception about college stage

makes most students miss the best time to equip themselves with skills. I

realize my job and dare not to loose study.

The second thing for me to learn is to make friends by joining activities.

I am a shy girl, but inside my heart, I am so eager to make more friends, so I

choose to join many activities in the spared time. I learn dancing and playing

tennis. The lucky thing is that I know many nice people and we become good

friends, who make my college colorful.

追忆至几千万年前，当人类还不是自然界充满智慧的主宰，许多双忍饥挨饿，虎视眈眈的眼在无时无刻的瞪着你。你，是选择死亡，还是生存，是选择合作，还是竞争?

竞争，对于人的发展和社会进步有促进作用，世界离不开竞争，自然界，动植物会为了一点利益相互捕杀，偷掠，官场上，多少得罪人的勾心斗角，冷箭暗器，世界上，多少发达国家乃至发展中国家为打破一超多强格局在全国发展。竞争，它给予人的是最大限度地激发我们的潜能，不断提高效率，发现自己的局限性。德谟克利特曾感叹过：“不敢同冠军较量，就永远争不到冠军。”从这一面来看，或许，选择竞争是相当正确了。事情的两面性不至会如此，竞争的不利，与它的好处是同重的，我们中考前，许多人避免不了紧张与失眠，竞争的压力和心理的防御是重要的，也许它会产生竞争中偏激的思想：嫉妒产生的是向别人投射冷箭暗器，在竞争之外的猎杀，使人走向极端变得卑劣，从而言之，竞争不能盲目断行。

合作，是个人或群体间为达到共同的目的需要的彼此合作，世界离不开合作，自然界，为了避免或减少被狩猎者所捕杀，通常会采取合作保护群体的做法，官场里，党派之间需要合作才能使自己不易被排挤，楚时《离骚》的作者屈原就是因不参与而被排挤才有了如今投汨罗江。更不用说世界上正采取经济一体化的贸易，没有合作，闭关锁国的清政府也为之垮台，中国有句老话：人心齐，泰山移。是的，有多少名人学士为了它赞叹出千古名句，一个人的力量或许是有限的，但群体的力量，是无比强大的，人们会说：“这样，选择合作是正确了的吧。”我却说：“不。”合作的双刃在于前者，竞争是不可分开的，没有了竞争，合作的力量止步不前，分享如今的喜悦却不看今后的结果，可能也不是永远的成功，所而言之，合作不可孤行。

那么把两方面的选择都否定了，也就没了答案，而去把竞争与合作相互融合，作出你中有我，我中有你的关系，不就为双赢了吗?在合作中竞争，向对手学习，在竞争中合作，发扬团结向上精神，不以成败论英雄，古就有谚语：“一花独放不是春，百花齐放春满园。”是的，在今后的选择上，也许只是双选才能体现“双赢”，也就选择了“双赢。”
