I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth.

Today, I still went to my mother’s office. My mother was very busy, so was

my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they

will manage the factory. So I know they are very laborious. So I should save my

money. Also I should help them. Although I can’t do something useful, but I

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. In our country, there are plenty of delicious foods. They are popular among

Chinese people. I like eating very much. There are many food I like, such as

chicken, fish, beef, tofu, noodle and so on. Among them, fish and tofu are the

In China, Mid-autumn Day is considered to be a symbol of family reunion. On this day, all the family members gather together at home to celebrate this special occasion. But the second day,people came into our forest. Many animals were caught. The people wanted to build house and parks in our forest. Many old trees were felled. And then suddenly,nothing was left standing.

I was so shocked and then I bursted out crying. I woke up at midnight. It was only a dream.

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is coming. Its a traditional North

American holiday,and is a form of harvest festival. In the United States, the

fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving was about

the Indians and gave thanks.

Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day. People always celebrate with big
