There are some traditions in this holiday. For example, people would have a big dinner with there families. After dinner, they often enjoy the full moon which is round and bright. The other tradition of mid-autumn festival is eating moon cake. Moon cake is the essential of that day, which means reunion. As time goes by, there are various kinds of moon cakes, but they are much more expensive than before. I like mid-autumn festival because my families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

But now , I can only spend it with my friends in kunming ,because my home is far away . we should eat the mooncake in that day , and we can have a big meal for dinner, some delicious meat and fish, and some local food,there are 10 chinese food on our table at least. Moon is the symbol for pureness and goodness . and there is a famous song in China named The Moon Can Express My Heart. So you can understand how Chinese people love the moon from this song, then at ten or eleven o’clock we go to the bed and pray for a good wish next year.
