每年的暑假，爸爸妈妈都会放下手中的工作，带我去旅游，让我感受大自然的气息，多长长见识，但我觉得最难忘的和最快乐的是去年暑假期间，爸爸妈妈带我去大连游玩。

The annual summer vacation, mom and dad will put down the work, take me to travel, let me feel the breath of nature, how long to see, but I think the most memorable and happy is the last summer holiday, my parents took me to visit dalian.

我一到大连就跑到了海边，看见了金灿灿的沙滩，还有一群一群在海里游泳的人们。我们三个人赤着脚在沙滩上捡贝壳，我和妈妈捡得贝壳又大又漂亮，接着我拿出一把小铲子，妈妈拿来一个小水桶，我们一起堆沙子，小沙子在太阳的照射下，像一颗颗金色的宝石，美极了!爸爸走过来拉着我的手，一步一步的走向大海，海浪一个一个的涌过来，打在了我的腿，我既兴奋又有些紧张，但我看到大海里有许多和我一般大的孩子在游泳时，我就不紧张了，很快适应了海水，带上游泳圈自由自在地在大海里游玩，开心极了。

Nowadays, more and more people prefer to travel quite often. Bytraveling, we not only can relax ourselves but also broaden our knowledge circles. From my aspect, I think we can make many friends and travel with them.

Firstly, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax ourselves. For modern life, we are busy with our work with high pressure. However, when we travel, we will be attracted by great landscape and forget pressure from both work and life.

第一，我们能在欣赏风景之余放松自己。现代生活中，我们整天忙于工作，压力很大。但是，当我们旅游的时候，我们会被美景吸引，暂时忘记工作和生活的压力。

Secondly, we can make friends by traveling. For most travelers, they tend to find many companions to travel with. If you check the internet, you will find that some people will call others to join them for travel. Through this kind of travel, we can meet many different people and make friends with them to broaden our social circle.

第二，在旅游中能够交朋友。对于许多旅游的人来说，喜欢与人结伴同游。如果你到网上搜一搜，你会发现有很多人都会叫其他人加入他们去旅游。通过这种方式的出游，我们能见到各种各样的人，与他们交朋友，扩大我们的交际圈。

Thirdly, we can learn much knowledge form travel. Before you go to somewhere to travel, generally, you need to make plans for your travel. You can find lots of things you don’t know when you make a plan, such as, the origin of a certain area, the customs of different areas, local food and so on.

第三，在旅游中，我们能学到很多的知识。在你想去某个地方旅游之前，通常你需要制定一个计划。制定计划的过程中，你会发现许多你不知道的事情，例如，某个地区的由来，不同地方的人的风俗习惯，当地的美食等等。

In conclusion, we can not only relax ourselves and make new friends but at the same time we can learn much from travel.

总之，通过旅游，我们不仅能放松自己，结识新朋友，同时也能学到新知识。

Nowadays, people prefer to travel by air. This is because air travel has

some advantages. First of all, airplane, the miracle created by man, is the

fastest means of transport. It takes the least time for one to travel by air

from one place to another. Besides,travelingby air is convenient and

comfortable. Friendly air hostesses are affectionate and considerate. They look

after passengers all the way to their destinations. In addition, on long

distance flights there are films and music for people to entertain

themselves.

As a popular saying goes, "Everything has two sides." The same is true of

air travel. It has some disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel is

expensive. The average Chinese are not rich enough to afford expensive air

fares. So they prefer to take trains, which save a lot of money. For another,

although passengers are assured of their safety, they are still worried about it

during the journey because flying always involves more or less risk.

As far I am concerned, the advantages mentioned above exceed the

disadvantages. If I were given choice between traveling by air and by train, I

would certainly prefer the former, especially the long distance journey, because

time is the most important thing I have to take into consideration whatever I

do.

I like to read the travel books so much. I can see all kinds of beautiful

scenery. Reading someone else’s story makes me feel so excited, I want to be

part of them, just take a bag and then go out for travel. So I must learn to be

independent, when I grow up, I can travel alone, appreciating the different

scenery.

travelingis usually boring. There are always too many people in the places

of interest in China and it is crowed everywhere, when it comes to the golden

weeks, this situation could be worse. Just imagine that you are waiting in line,

hungry and thirsty. All you want is a ticket that can get through the door to

see the beautiful view. You may complain: “why am I coming to the terrible

place? Why I do this to myself?” If you are unlucky, you may encounter a bad

guide who forces you to shop here and there. How horrible it is! What’s worse,

you may spend more money than usually does.

Why don’t you just stay at home and enjoy the cozy life? You don’t need to

go outside to see the view, you can just turn on the TV or computer, the amazing

view will represent in front of you. You not only save a large sum of money, but

also your precious time. And you can do other things too, such as watching a

classic movie, chatting with friends on the phone or surfing the Internet. This

could be so much fun! Therefore, I prefer to stay at home instead of going

outside.

There is a saying that “You can either travel or read,but either your body

or soul must be on the way.” With the improvement of living standards, more and

more people have time and money to travel. Duringtraveling, one can meet

various people, make new friends and experience various lifestyles of different

places.

Almost everyone has their own favorite place to travel because of specific

reasons, such as the people, climate or scenery of that place, the influence of

friends or some beautiful memories and so on.

Nowadays, people do not have to think much about transportation. People can

travel by car or driving themsleves to near places, or by train, plane to far

places.So, if you have a place want to travel, just go and relax yourself.

Today, as our economy develops fast, people live a much better life than

before, they start to pay attention the chase fun. When people have holiday,

they will choose to travel, most people will give money to the organization,

while some people choose to self-helptraveling. Self-help traveling can save a

lot of money, people can save the money which is given to the tour guide. What’s

more, self-help traveling can bring people a lot of fun. People can visit the

site as long as they want, sometimes they can find the interesting things in the

small place. While the tour guide will always take people to the commercial

place. Self-help traveling is becoming more and more popular now.

When my parents take me to another city, I will write down the happy things

in my diary. So next time when I read these travel diaries, the happy time will

make me think of the beautiful scenery in my life, then I will have the

motivation to study. Now I have two travel diaries. These precious experiences

make my life wonderful.

As the National Day came, I have a vacation, so I made the plan to go out

and travel to the different places. Last year, I went to the big cities, like

Shanghai, there were so many people, I could hardly see the tourist site. So

this year, I decided to go to the small place, Wu Zhou. But the result is almost

the same, so many people were around everywhere.

When I arrived at Wu Zhou, I was attracted by its beautiful scenery, though

the city is small, the water and the mountain are around the city, which makes

the city beautiful and casual. The city is famous for the food, especially the

restaurant which below the Baiyun mountain. I thought it maybe a little more

people, so I woke up early in the morning for avoiding the summit time. I came

to the restaurant at about 7 o’clock, there were a lot of people standing in the

long line. It needs to take about two hour for me to get a table!

Now I have learned a lesson, it is better not to take a trip in the

festival, I need to miss the time if I want to travel in a comfortable way.

I think there is no one would say “no” to travel. People love travel, for

it can make them relax and widen their vision. Some people like to travel with

friends, because they want to share the pleasure oftraveling, and they think

the journey will be much easier for they can take care of each other. While some

people like to travel alone, they can go anywhere in anytime. They don’t have to

care about what the partner’s idea. In my opinion, I’m much preferred to travel

with friends, but I always have an urge to travel alone.

Firstly, I was told that travel alone can help people to grow up quickly,

and that’s what I really need. If you travel alone, you have to do everything by

yourself in the journey, for instance, to buy a ticket, to book hotel, and ask

directions. That maybe just a small case for extrovert, but for introvert, like

me, it’s really a big challenge. I remember the first time I go to travel with

friends and my little brother, they did everything, and I just follow and had

fun. I even too shame to check into a hotel, and my little brother did it for

me. I was humiliated for that. So, travel alone could force introvert to do the

things that you don’t dare to do. It could help you to build an outgoing

personality. For extrovert, travel alone could enhance your ability to handle

emergence case.

Secondly, travel alone gives you peace of mind. Image that, you walking

alone in the beach, there are no sounds of human beings, just burst of sound

waves. You close your eyes, enjoy the moment, you will feel peace.

In short, travel alone could be loneliness and dangerous, especially for

girls, but it’s worth having a try for the beautiful scene in the journey, it

seems like all the things are just exist for you.

I like to travel so much. When holiday comes, I will make travel plans. My

friends like travel, too. So we make up the group. Travel means a lot to me. On

the one hand, I can broaden my vision. Every city has its own feature and

lifestyle, so I can experience different lifestyles. Books can provide us

theorical knowledge, but if we go to the place to witness the real scenery, then

what we learn from the book will be useful. On the other hand, travel can bring

me the new mood. If I live in the same place for a long time and do the same

thing every day, my life will be boring. But travel can help me to refresh my

mood. When I come back, I am full of energy again.

Thanks to my parents, I have been to many places. I feel so lucky to

witness the scenery by my eyes. I love to travel since I was very small. I have

made up my mind that I must continue my journey on my own. As I grow up, I have

planned some trips and learned a lot.

Travel helps me to be independent. For many people, they trend to travel by

groups, which is very convenient. The companies plan everything for them, and

they just need to follow the schedules. But as for me, I only enjoytraveling

freely, so I will scan a lot of information and select the useful message. I

learn the history and culture of the countries and get to know all kinds of

applications.

The most important thing of travel is to broaden my vision. When my friends

talk about the beautiful places from the textbook, I will tell them that I have

been there and can give them my opinion. The way I talk and the knowledge I

offer to them make me stand out and I am so proud of myself.

Going to high school is my first time to leave home. I have to live in

school from Monday to Friday. I like to stay away from my parents for some time,

because I can make my own choice and be free to go anywhere. My friends and I

like to spend the weekend in the countryside that near the city we live. It is

the short travel that I can not only appreciate the beautiful scenery, but also

learn to be independent. The things that nature teaches me are a lot. I can see

from the color of the cloud to predict the weather and the sound of of animals

have different meanings. All of these are hard to know from the books. I have my

own thinking from these trips, and the way to take care of myself helps me to

grow up.

I like to travel very much. I always dream to be independent and travel by

my own. But my parents worry about me all the time. They think I will meet

problems and can’t solve. In oder to comfort them, I decide to travel with a

friend of mine and they agree. This was the first time for me to leave my home

and I had to do all the things on my own. Firstly, I book the ticket and the

hotel, and the big problem is to find the hotel. So I search the Internet and

downloaded a software to guide me, then I found my way easily. I read all kinds

of information and select the part that is useful to me. I found the funny

places and local food, what’s more, I would not lose my way. Travel makes me

stronger.

I have learned English for many years, as I learn more knowledge about the

English, I become more and more passionate to have a look at the world. When I

was small, I knew nothing about the world, I believe the place I lived around

was the whole world, then I came to middle school, I realized the world become

more and more bigger, but how big it was, I had no idea. As I came to high

school, I learn more about the world, There are all kinds of cultures in western

countries. I am so interested in the culture, I want to go to these places and

talk to the local people. This is my dream, I believe I can realize my dream,

since the traffic is so convenient. I must study hard and earn money, so I can

make my dream come true.

More and more people now show their great interests intraveling, because

traveling can bring us a lot of benefits.

To begin with, having worked hard for a few months, traveling can release

us from high pressure. More importantly, traveling can help us acquire more

knowledge. No matter how many books we have read, there is still plenty of

knowledge for us to learn from traveling, like history, culture, custom, and

geography of the places we visit. By the way, through traveling, we can meet

many new friends and taste different kinds of delicious food.

While some people are not interested in traveling at all, since traveling

will cost a great deal of money on transportation and accommodation, and they

may feel tired after sightseeing as well.

As far as I’m concerned, the advantages of traveling are more than its

disadvantages, so if our time and finance permit, we can travel to some nice

places every year, in order to make our life more colorful and vivid.

Its so convenient and interesting to join a tourist group. When you travel

with a tourist group, you don’t need to book plane and train tickets, and you

dont have to care about where to live and what to eat either, because the

travel agency will arrange everything for you. All you need to do is to follow

the tour guides. They will take you to all the places of interest. They will

tell you stories about the interesting places and help you to learn local

culture. This is called a package tour.

A cruise trip is so comfortable and relaxing. You travel on a large sea

cruiser and enjoy the beautiful scenery. When you come up to a nice place, you

can get off the cruiser and visit there. When you are on board, you can lie on

the deck, watching the blue sky, the white cloud and the bright sun, and you

will be free from stress. Besides, there are so many nice activities on the

cruise. For example, you can watch movies; you can see concerts; you can go

swimming in the swimming pool; you can play cards; you can play golf; you can

watch wonderful performances; and you can also attend dancing parties. Nothing

could be more wonderful and relaxing.

Nowadays, backpacking tour has become so popular. Its not just a low-cost

travel for budget travelers, but also a nice entertainment. When you have a

backpacking tour, you can use public transportations like buses and subways and

stay in hostels instead of big hotels, which can save you a lot of money. Today,

this kind of travel is especially popular with young people, because they can

discover the interesting places and know more about the local cultures by

themselves. Its so exciting.

If you want to have a better understanding of a place, you can have a slow

travel. When you have a slow travel, you had better spend at least one week

living in one place, stay with a local family and visit interesting sites near

your living instead of rushing around for a long day to see the must-sees. In

this way, you can make more local friends, taste local food, and know the local

traditions and customs deeper. Only so can you become more knowledgeable and

widen your experience.

It depends on your need to choose the way you want to travel.

Nowadays, with long holidays at hand,travelinghas become a new trend for

us to relax ourselves outside work. Some people even had made a plan for it a

long time before the holiday begins. They usually travel with good friends or

travel along; only few people take their parents into travel plan. However, I

think it is high time for us to travel with parents.

In the first place, we should spend more time with parents. According to

research, if we come home 5 days a year, spend 4 hours a day with parents, it

would be less than 300 hours of 30 years, which means 25 days. We could see it

now that there is not much time for us to spend with our parents after we go to

work or have our own family. Hence, we should travel with our parents.

In the second place, parents used to took us to travel when we were young,

why don’t we take them as return when we are capable to do that. It is not the

matter of we are set free from parents, we are not a traitorous teenager

anymore, and we have time and money, of course we should take a trip with

parents. Holiday would be a good time for us to travel with parents, just like

the old time.

To summarize, we should make a plan for parents in holiday. Holiday is a

great gift for us and our parents.

27th, September of every year is World Tourism Day. Of course, it is to

advocate people to travel often. Nowadays, as people’s living standard improve,

the number and frequency of people to travel is also increasing. Why? I think it

may because of the advantage of travel. First of all, travel can make people

relaxed. In today’s competitive society, everyone is under great stress. They

may be crazy if they are in that situation in the long term. Going travel,

leaving all the troubles behind for a period of time, people will have a good

rest and then fight again. Secondly, travel can broaden people’s vision. People

can learn more through what they see and hear. This knowledge is good for them.

Last but not least, travel can enlarge people’s social circle, because they can

make new friends on the way of their trip. In conclusion, travel has so many

advantages. It is no wonder that there is a World Tourism Day to encourage

everyone to go travel.

When I learned English, I had no idea why would I learn it, but as I was in

high school, my English teacher showed me many things about the foreign country,

then I came to know what the foreign country was like. They are so different

from China, the world is so big, I must travel abroad someday, I want to see the

other countries, having access to their tradition. I am very interested in the

culture, I know our country’s culture well, I want to know more beyondChina. I

learn thatParisis very fashionable,Egyptis an old city with its famous

tower,Veniceis a water city, all of there are so interesting to me. English is a

basic tool that I can communicate with the world, so I must learn English well,

making enough money and realize my dream.
