微笑的意涵有很多，有真诚的微笑、友善的微笑、喜悦的微笑…。不知道大家有没有听过一个故事呢?有个富翁，他的生活过得很不快乐。有一天，富翁垂头 丧气的走在路上似乎有着使他闷闷不乐的事情。这时，走来一个女孩，女孩用天真无邪的眼神望着他，给他一个微笑。富翁心中豁然开朗，像这样开开心心的有多好 啊!第二天，这个富翁离开了小镇去寻求快乐。临走前，他给了女孩一笔巨款。镇上的人疑惑的问小女孩，富翁为什么会送她一笔财富?小女孩说：“我只是对他微 笑而已啊!”微笑的力量，点燃了富翁的心灵，让他再次拥有了快乐。

我总会记得有一次，那时的我，对自己的命运总觉得不公平时，一位老师，给了我几句鼓励的话：“只要你肯努力，靠着自己的力量及梦想所完成很多事。”这位老师便给我一个微笑，就是那个微笑，真诚且亲切的微笑鼓励了我，我不再被自 己的命运所牵挂，更加努力学习，开创属于自己的一片天。

就像雨果所说的：“生活就是面对真实的微笑，就是越过障碍注视将来。”一个小小的微笑就能鼓舞许多人，我们应该时常保持微笑，使每个人的生活更加美好，也希望自己能用微笑来面对许多难关。

Joy in living comes from having fine emotions, trusting them, giving them the freedom of a bird in the open. Joy in living can never be assumed as a pose, or put on from the outside a mask. People who have this joy don’t need to talk about it, they radiate it. They just live out their joy and let it splash its sunlight into other lives as nature as a bird sings.

生活的乐趣来源于良好的情绪，信赖这些情绪，并任由它们如鸟儿高飞于天空般的自由自在。生活的乐趣是无法靠姿态摆出来的，也无法用带上一张面具来伪装。拥有这种乐趣的人们无需挂在嘴上，他们自然会焕发出欢乐的气息。他们自己生活在快乐当中，也将这样的快乐自然而然的感染着他人，犹如是鸟儿就必将歌唱。

We can never get it from working for it directly. It comes, like happiness, to those who are aiming at something higher. It’s a byproduct of great, simple living. The joy of living comes from what we put into our living, not from what we seek to get from it.

直接追求生活的乐趣却只会使乐趣远离我们，它与幸福一样青睐胸有大志的人。生活过的高雅，简单就会产生出乐趣。它是我们对生活的投入，而非所求。
