I have a very cheerful holiday in “The National Day”.

My parent and I went to Shanghai about nine days ago. We got there by plane, I think that shanghai must be a very big city, and there are a lot of tall buildings. First we went into the hotel named”chuang ye”.

And we saw the tall big building “Shanghai TV Tower”, at nine in the evening, we got back to the hotel. The second day, we visited Zhouzhuang. My vacation

This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. 让我大开眼界的是海军博物馆，那里有我从没见过的海军服装、大炮、坦克、舰艇……舰艇上有大炮、大炮控制器和运东西的道路。舰很大，像城堡一样，有很多层，一层比一层小，最下面能容纳上百人，最上面只能容纳几人。舰艇顶上插着小旗子，四面都有大炮，炮口有花盆口那么大，据说一次能发射好远呢。

栈桥是青岛的象征，桥横在海上，桥上有人卖各种各样的贝壳，贝壳颜色不一，有白的、黑的、黑色白点的、白色灰点的。还有卖五颜六色珊瑚的，有紫的、白的、红的。形态也各异，有的像绽开的花朵，有的像鹿角。桥的尽头是一个亭子，亭子内有螺旋形的楼梯，登到高处看，感觉海和天好像融在一起一样，真美！

青岛真是个好地方，希望那里用后更加美丽，更加富饶。
