那是妈妈下岗以后，就四处找工作。最后，在我姑父的公司中，妈妈找到了一份厨师兼管理员的工作。那天晚上，我们全家人都特别高兴。第二天，妈妈拖着疲惫的身体回到家就睡着了。可是，到了第三天，腰酸背痛的妈妈连起来都得吃力，爸爸劝妈妈别去了，可妈妈执意不肯休息。她说：“我找份工作不容易呀！如果不去，还得罚钱！”当时我想：妈妈怎么钻到钱眼里去了，我真不理解。

今年寒假，我到妈妈的公司去。当我到妈妈公司时，正赶上妈妈在做饭，我不敢打扰她，就在门口看着，只见，妈妈一会儿从仓库里拖出一百多斤的白菜，然后又将它们一棵一棵切成丝，接着，妈妈又拖出一百多斤的土豆，也开始切了起来。不料，妈妈一不留神，把自己的手指割破了，顿时鲜血直流，可妈妈却若无其事，只是用凉水冲了冲伤口，便接着干活了。转眼间，到了该开饭的时间了，将近三百多人拿着餐盘，把一楼的食堂挤得水泄不通，我从一条缝隙中看见，虽然这天是寒风凛凛，但是，妈妈的头上已经布满了豆大般的汗珠。我终于忍不住了，一脚将门踢开，挤过人群，大声地对妈妈喊道：“妈，这活儿太苦，你受不了，咱不干了！”妈妈用力从我手中挣脱，微笑着说道：“孩子，只要你好好学习，这点儿苦又算得了什么？”就在那一刻，我心潮起伏，一种对母亲的感激之情油然而生。此时此刻，母亲在我心中的形象，似乎越来越高大了。

都说女儿是爸爸上辈子的情人，父女关系总是格外令人羡慕，但是我和我爸爸之间却总是隔着一堵无形的后墙。在初三面临中考的巨大压力时，爸爸的工作也似乎格外忙碌，难得打一通电话，也没有什么话题可聊只有草草结束，于是渐渐疏远，甚至有一阵子，我都不能真实地感受到父亲的存在。

记得有一年暑假，我和妈妈吵架，现在我也不记得究竟是为了什么，只记得当时的我倔强任性又不懂事，明明知道自己错了却不肯认错，还口不择言讲了许多过分的话，惹得妈妈十分难过，在爸爸三番五次耐心劝导之下，我依旧任意妄为，变本加厉，像一个刁蛮的小丫头。于是他忍无可忍，一气之下竟然扇了我一巴掌。我的嚣张气焰一下子被熄灭了，那一瞬间，爸爸眼里充满了失望与愤怒，那陌生而严厉的目光实在令我难以和平时那个和我玩闹嬉笑的温和的爸爸联系在一起。我诧异地盯着他，紧接着脸上意味着莫大耻辱的火辣辣的伤痕令我的心中充满了怒火，我捂着脸，眼泪止不住的往下滴落。突然脑海里浮现起很小的时候，一个熟悉的身影把年幼无知的我无情地关在一间小黑屋里，那个小黑屋里有一个毛绒绒绿沙发，在黑暗中似乎瞪着绿绿的眼睛故意要吓唬我，这对当时的来说显得那么可怕。我撕心裂肺地拍打着厚厚的门，胖乎乎的小手不一会就红了，然后独自面对着那可怕的绿沙发号啕大哭。但是门后的人却不为所动，那种深深的无助与心酸令我我现在在黑暗中见到绿色时，心里都会隐隐感到不安。

事情过去了很久，我也不记得当时恼羞成怒，坚定的决定不再理他的我又是怎么轻易地原谅了他，或许因为他毕竟是我的爸爸啊。我不知道我一生中仅仅被罚的这两次的实施者，在门后是否如妈妈所说，眼中充满了内疚，心疼与自责，但是我能清楚地感受到他依旧在默默地注视着我。外婆说，在我很小的时候，爸爸每天傍晚都会带我出去散步，天黑了才满头大汗的笑嘻嘻的跑回来，每天回来的时候都会带回家一条色彩斑斓的小金鱼。小小的我一有空，就把圆圆的脸贴在鱼缸上，盯着鱼儿游来游去，然后就不停地鱼食，于是鱼就被撑死了。就这样，爸爸执着的给我买着金鱼，我也执着的给鱼喂着鱼食，不知道多少个美丽的小生命葬送在了我们这执着的父女身上。
