Chang-Er，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. And thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the Moon Fairy.

The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. 玉兔东升，一轮皎洁的明月悬挂在空中，啊，多么漂亮的月亮啊，简直像个大玉盘!十五的月亮，它那圆圆的脸盘，挂着慈祥，温和的笑容，静静地俯视着大地。几多灰色的、薄薄的云萦绕在她身旁，宛如仙女舞动着五彩绫绡翩翩起舞。皎洁的月光，给大地披上了银灰色的纱裙，洒在红红的花瓣上花儿显得更加娇美。

在这美好的月色里，妈妈娓娓动听的讲起了《嫦娥奔月》的故事：很久以前，后羿山中狩猎的时候，在一棵月桂树下遇到嫦娥，人便以月桂树为媒，结为夫妻。

到了帝尧的时代，天上出现了十个太阳，于是帝尧命令后羿射下九个太阳，后来，后羿从王母那里得到了不死药，交得嫦娥保管，逢蒙听说后前去偷窃，偷窃不成要加害嫦娥。情急之下，嫦娥吞下了不死药飞上了天上。由于不忍心离开了后羿，嫦娥偷溜在月亮广寒宫。广寒宫寂寥难耐，于是催促吴刚砍伐桂树让玉兔捣药，想配成飞升之药，好早日回到人间与后羿团聚。

后羿听说嫦娥奔月之后，痛不欲生。月母为二人的真诚所感动，于是允许嫦娥每年在月桂树在相会。据说民间有好多人都曾经听到后羿与嫦娥在月桂树下窃窃私语呢。

这只是一个引人入神的神话故事，其实月球上没有希腊故事传说中的女神，也没有中国神话中所说的宫殿，嫦娥和玉兔。那飘香的归属和捣药的兔子只不过是月球上的身影罢了。

啊!远远的月亮，我多么想像阿姆斯特朗那样飞到你身边，去遨游那美丽而又神秘的月球啊!
