Everyday we got up early then. Though there was not much modern entertainment, we could still be content with climbing trees, swimming in the small river, catching butterflies , bees and or something. Anyway, we could give a full play to our imagination and intelligence to enjoy ourselves.

The most enjoyable time in a day was night. All people would go out to be cool. They talked with each other freely and happily. Sometimes we would gather around an old grandfather and listen to an old story, which would always attract a lot of children. Our grief and joy all came from story. Sometimes we would carry out a small stool, made it as a horse, and then we would ride on it in a circle. We acted as knights. The front part of the stool was moved up and down to knock at the earth and sent out the sound of “du du…”. It was often followed with our folk songs. But parents could not accept this game because it was too noisy, and they couldn’t bear it. We were always forced to dismiss. But soon we could find a new program.

About the midnight, people would go back to sleep one after another. Under the pressure of parents, we had to go home, too. But as soon as we got to bed, the plan of entertainment next day appeared in mind. Then we could sleep with a smile.

今天，我们大可把合作与竞争联合起来，合作离不开竞争，竞争离不开合作。有时候，我们的竞争对手也是合作伙伴，要想成就一番大事，必须靠大家的共同努力。

也许大家会说，现在是21世纪，是竞争的社会，真么能合作呢?虽然我们现在的二十一世纪充满了竞争，但是只有竞争没有合作，我们今天的生存将会变得伤痕累累。

大家一定听说过龟兔赛跑的故事吧。你们知道乌龟最后为什么会赢呢?这是乌龟持之以恒努力的结果。现在是这个故事在经济上被改成“龟兔双赢理论”，就是龟兔互相合作，在陆地上兔子被乌龟跑到河边，在河里乌龟驮兔子到彼岸，这就是“双赢”。而双赢的精髓是互相合作且合作间又带有竞争。

一个善于合作的人，往往都具有团队精神，这种精神是很可贵的。合作是生存的必要手段，竞争也是不可缺少的一份子。竞争使得社会发展得飞快，是每个国家必须以全身心的投入其中，而合作有让这些国家共同进步、共同发展。

朋友，投身竞争是我们无法逃不的命运，让我们用激情去迎接她吧。合作与竞争相互依存，让我们在竞争与合作中勇往直前吧。

尊敬的领导、老师，亲爱的同学，我今天要发言的主题是“竞争与合作”。

现代社会是一个竞争与合作的社会，因而需要现代人才不仅应具备竞争意识，更应具备合作意识，既要保持独立的个性意识，自强、自立。与此同时，更要有集体观念和团队精神及可持续发展的战略眼光，同时还需要有与自然与人与社会之间做到共存、共荣、共同积极地营造一个融洽和谐的竞争环境的意识，从而更好的发挥个体的智慧和创造力，加速个人的人生进取和团体的事业成功，最终实现社会经济发展和人口、资源，环境相协调。

为什么竞争总是与合作并存?因为自然的法则就是给每一个生命以生存的机会，“物竞天择，适者生存。”反映在人类社会中，每一个人、每一个企业、每一个行业都有自己独有的优势和能力，都在努力争取成功的机会。在这种情况下，将各方的资源和优势整合在一起，避免竞争中无谓的消耗，通过合作实现双赢或共赢的局面，是最智慧的做法，也是一种必然的选择。在人类共有的这个生存环境中，资源是有限的和共享的，所以人与自然之间的和谐相处是人类社会进步发展的必然选择。淹没在漫漫黄沙之下的美索不达米亚平原和楼兰古国在警示人们：不尊重自然，违背客观规律，必然遭到自然界的“报复”。

我县是钨矿业大县，县域经济增长不能以浪费资源、破环环境和牺牲子孙后代利益为代价。我们要牢固树立“既要金山银山，更要绿水青山”的科学发展观，在发展过程中不仅要尊重经济规律，还要尊重自然规律，充分考虑资源、环境的承载能力，加强对土地、水、森林、矿产等自然资源的合理开发利用，保护生态环境，促进人与自然相和谐，实现可持续发展。在钨产业发展中，我县按照“整合资源，保护环境，科学规划，合理布局，深度加工，做优产业”的方针，坚持“两整合两集中”的思路，促进产业集约高效发展，坚决禁止无序开采，破坏自然的做法，坚决摒弃先破坏后治理、边治理边破坏的做法，就是贯彻落实科学发展观，谋求人与自然和谐相处的生动写照。随着经济的迅猛发展，个人之间、群体之间的竞争都呈现越来越激烈的态势，但与此同时，人们对合作的要求也越来越多，合作也越来越紧密。

既竞争又合作，在竞争中合作，在合作中发展，成为我们这个时代的特点。所以，我们在这样一个新的时代应该学会做到：不但要积极与伙伴合作，也要勇于与竞争对手合作并从中获益。美国商界有句名言：“如果你不能战胜对手，就加入到他们中间去。”现代竞争，不再是“你死我活”，而是更高层次的竞争与合作，现代企业追求的不再是“单赢”，而是“双赢”和“多赢”。马克思说得好，协作不仅可提高个人的生产力，而且是“创造一种生产力”，产生一加一大于二的神奇效果。美国可口可乐公司与百事可乐公司曾为了争市场而展开了长达半个世纪的激烈竞争。

可他们的竞争是“未必要打倒敌人”。当大家对百事可乐—可口可乐之战兴趣盎然时，双方都是赢家，因为饮料大战引起了全球消费者对可乐的关注，大家都来喝可乐。可乐大战给们的启迪是，并非只有“消灭”对手，才是促进自身发展的唯一途径。在有些情况下，接受对手的存在并善待对手，也同样能够促进自身的发展。所以说竞争中需要合作，竞争与合作既对立，又统一。二者相互渗透，相辅相成。

竞争不能忘合作，没有合作的竞争算不上是积极向上的竞争。只有既竞争又合作，我们的事业才能取得成功，经济才能繁荣，社会才能走向生产发展，生活富裕，生态良好的文明发展道路。

Thus, my dear friends, do not fear competition. Accept it and enjoy it. With competition, you grow stronger, and you gain so much precious experience worth remembering of, regardless of what the outcome would be. Without competition, you cease to grow; you become a dead moth sealed in its own cocoon.

Competition is a common phenomenon in our society . We compete when we play games, we try to do better than others in our study, and there is constant competition for jobs, fame, wealth and so forth. Therefore,we can say that, in a certain sense, competition is one of the motive forces of the development of our modern society.

It is often believed, that competition and cooperation are in opposition to each other. Some people stress competition, without which, in their eyes, there is no responsibility, no drive and ultimately, no progress. Others advocate cooperation whatever they do. They are of the opinion that the dependence of people on one another has increased, without which the society we live in can not keep going smoothly. In reality, we find that in many cases competition goes hand in hand with cooperation. Lets take a football game for example. During the game, one team is competing against the other, but each member of the team must cooperate with his teammates. Otherwise, they would lose the game no matter how skillful each individual player might be. It is clear that competition has much to do with cooperation.

As far as Im concerned, I do not agree with the view that competition and cooperation are always in conflict with each other. In my opinion, while advocating competition, we should never forget cooperation. In our social life, cooperation is especially necessary because most work is fulfilled with or through other people. So Ive come to the conclusion that competition are equally important.
