我很高兴自己是一个诚信的孩子。虽然我有这样那样的缺点，但我实实在在地体会到诚信给自己带来的快乐。有一次，我一个人在家，不小心把一只漂亮的小花碗打碎了。我不敢把这件事告诉妈妈，生怕她责骂。于是，我悄悄地把碎碗片给扔了。后来，妈妈下班回来，我若无其事地看着电视，妈妈也没发觉什么，可我内心一直忐忑不安，担心妈妈看破我的心事。吃晚饭的时候，我主动对妈妈说：“妈妈，今天我做了一件错事，你骂我吧！”妈妈看了我一眼，说：“什么事，说吧，妈妈不怪你。”我告诉她事情的真相后，妈妈淡淡地说：“好了，以后做事要小心点。”我有些不解，问她：“妈妈，你怎么不骂我呢？”妈妈认真地回答：“一只碗算什么，你要知道，诚信才是无价的。”我听了，使劲点点头。

从此以后，我明白了诚信是无价的，我要永远快快乐乐地做个诚信的人。

Today, with the development of Internet, many traditional ways of life have

been changed, especially the way to pay for purchase. The record of credit

occupies important role for everybody, and they need good credit to get loan, so

as to start their business or buy a house. We have come to the age of

credit.

There is a very classic example about the importance of credit. A Chinese

man took the train in Europe. He found no one checked the ticket, so he just

skipped the ticket. He thought he had saved the little money, but when he came

to the bank and wanted to get the loan, he got rejected, because his record of

credit showed he had skipped the ticket, which made him the unreliable man.

The record of credit is the main basis when people asked for loan. The

banks consider the account of money they would borrow according to the credit,

or the departments will check a person’s credit to see if they want to hire him.

The age of credit asks for us to behave ourselves well, or we will live the

tough life.

A boy went to a shop and bought a pencil and other things. When he was

going to pay the bill, he took out his wallet and found he had not enough money

to pay. He felt awkward. At that moment, an old man who was in charge of the

shop smiled and said to the boy that he could give the rest of the money next

time. The boy was so shocked, as the old man trusted him so much. When the boy

went home, he remembered it all the time. So the next morning, when he passed

the shop, he gave the money without hesitation. Integrity is priceless and

decides who we are.

一个年轻人，在漫漫人生路上经过长途跋涉，到达一个渡口的时候，他身上已经有了七个背囊：美貌、金钱、荣誉、诚信、机敏、健康、才学。渡船开出的时候风平浪静，过了不知道多久，风起浪涌，上下颠簸，险象环生。老艄工对年轻人说：“船小，负载重，客官你必须丢掉一个背囊，才可安全到达。”看年轻人不肯丢掉任何一个，老艄工又说：“有弃有取，有失有得。”年轻人想了想，把‘诚信’丢到了水里。

风浪立刻平静了下来，船又开始缓缓地行驶着，不一会儿就到了对岸。当老船夫像年轻人要钱时，年轻人却说自己身无分文，无法付给他。其实年轻人身上有着千两白银。他到了城市里。开了一家当铺。当铺开张的那天，老船夫碰巧也来了，他认出了年轻人，向他要钱，年轻人死活不给，老船夫气得大喊：“大家别到他的当铺去，他是一个没有诚信的人，他会骗了大家，有一次我渡他过河，他连船钱也没给我！”从此，没有一个人到年轻人的店里来当东西。年轻人很快耗尽了家产，还借了许多钱，为了还债，他把当铺也买了。现在，年轻人真的身无分文了，他露宿街头，这是他才想起那个装着‘诚信’的背囊。他来到渡口，想找回那个背囊，可没有一个人愿意渡他过河。年轻人只好游过去，可才游了一会儿，就被冻死在了江中。

他来到上帝面前，说要投胎做鱼，他说他一定要找到‘诚信’，因为他现在才发现，诚实的价值远远超过了金钱……

诚信、是和谐社会的基础；诚信、是人心交流的桥梁；诚信、是做人立身的根本；诚信是自我完善的保证；诚信是一种可贵的精神；诚信让我们生的平凡、活得伟大……

我看过一篇故事：一个富商在过河时因触礁翻船，他在水中大声呼喊：“谁能救我，我就给他100两金子！”一个善良的渔夫把他救上了岸，可是富商只给了80两，渔夫指责富商不讲信用，商人则训斥渔夫太贪婪。第二天，渔夫坐船过岸，不巧又翻进了水里，富商仍旧在水中喊：“谁能救我上岸，我给他100两金子。”曾经救过他的渔夫告诉周围的人这个富商言而无信，结果富商就淹死了。这个故事说明一个人不讲诚信结果害了自己。
