There are many traditional festivals in China. My favourite festival is the Spring Festival. It is a very important festival for Chinese. Before the festival, people will go to visit their relatives and friends. They usually have a big dinner together and give best wishes to each other. Most children in China love this festival because they can play fireworks and lucky money from their parents and relatives.

As the most important festival in China since ancient times, the Spring Festival is always being excepted by we kids. Because we dont need to do any homework during this time very year.Its really a precious holiday for us. And our parents are free from their work too. We go to our grandparents to get together with them to enjoy the moment when the new year comes.

照我家乡的老规矩，春节差不多在腊月初旬就开始了。

在我们家乡差不多在腊月初旬就要腌制腊肉，我所说的腊肉，就是把很多肉放在盆里，再把准备好的调料倒进盆里，这样放一个星期，就拿起来挂在有阳光的地方，挂一个星期就可以吃了。过年时大部分人桌上都有这道菜，这道菜不但吃起来香，而且色香味俱全。

在腊月二十九左右，我们就要到超市里买年货，我们要买：瓜子、糖。还要去菜市场买菜，今天必须把菜买齐全，否则过年那天买不到菜。

到了除夕，家家赶做年菜，到处是酒肉的香味。男女老少都穿起新衣，门外贴上了红红的对联，屋里贴好了各色的年画。除夕家家灯火通宵，不许间断，鞭炮声日夜不绝。在外边做事的人，除非万不得已，必须赶回家来吃团圆饭。这一夜，除了很小的孩子，没有什么人可以睡觉，都有守岁。

正月初一的光景截然不同：门前都堆着昨夜燃放的爆竹纸皮。这一天，大人们要早早的起床，为小孩做汤圆。而且在这一天里不能扫地，据说是要把财源扫走。

到了正月初六，那些商店都开门了。一眨眼，正月十五过了。学生该去上学。大人们有去照常做事。腊月和正月是农村最闲的时候。天气渐渐转暖，大家带着春意又开始新的生活。

在我们家乡，从腊月初八起差不多就开始过年了，人们都陆陆续续开始准备年货了，大街上也多多少少摆起了卖春联、门神画的摊子。虽然还不到真正意义上的过年，但从人们的忙碌中，照样也透露出了一种浓浓的年味。

腊八过后，最重要的日子应数腊月二十三了，听大人们说，这天要祭灶神，还要烙祭灶烧饼。是那种很小的糖烧饼，小孩子们最爱吃。

接下来最重要的就到大年三十了，也就是除夕，街上就更热闹了。下午家家户户忙着贴春联，上坟祭拜祖先。到了晚上，就有一项很重要的任务了，那就是守岁，在这天晚上，除了很小的孩子，其他人都要熬夜到凌晨，到了十二点就陆陆续续出现了鞭炮声，印象中，奶奶这时也开始和面包饺子了。对于小孩子来说，还有一个重要的事——放炮仗，孩子们总爱拿些花花绿绿的炮来放，小孩子也不例外，他们甚至比有些年龄较大的孩子还喜欢放炮。

到了大年初一，就要去给长辈们拜年，领压岁钱。中午就要全家坐在一起吃团圆饭。初二到初四，大都是去亲戚家拜年。这期间小孩子总爱跟着大人一起去串亲戚，因为可以领到很多的压岁钱。

总之，家乡的春节虽与其它地方大致相同，但始终有一股家乡的浓浓的年味。

除夕之夜，万家团圆，我们也迎来了一年一度的春节联欢晚会。

晚上八点，在热闹的歌舞声中，春节联欢晚会正式拉开了序幕，有趣的节目一一亮相，但让我印象最深刻的就是《年年有鱼》和小品《同桌的你》。

魔术表演开始了，魔术师居然能让金鱼并列走，向左向右转，主持人董卿也来试，金鱼居然也听从了她的指挥。我心想：“他们怎么这么厉害，能让金鱼听话？大概是他们使了手段。”不对呀，金老师告诉我们，熟能生巧，他们一定是练出来的。接下来的更有趣，魔术师居然把画上的三条鱼移到了水箱里，他把手一挥，就有许多气泡，接着，数不清的金鱼游上来，真是有趣！

接着，小品《同桌的你》开始了。赵本山带着徒弟小沈阳逗得我们全家哈哈大笑，故事是这样的：小沈阳的父亲去找同桌，还写了一封信给她的同桌，信里小沈阳的父亲不会写的就画圆圈，还总是写此处省略三哥字。真是非常有趣呢！
