我先找来一个硬纸盒，在上面画上一个大大的心型，沿着图案的边缘一点点地把它戳下来，真是费了九牛二虎之力，不过效果还不错。你看，毛毛的纸边就像经过精工细雕似的，真是水到渠成。接着写上大而醒目的字“人人争做环保小卫士”。然后，在宣传牌的边缘画上一只只栩栩如生，展翅高飞的白鹭。最后，我又在长长的纸把上贴了个硬木条。这样，一个保护家园的公示牌就诞生了。

我和妈妈来到浉河边，发现浉河里的垃圾已被打捞上来。也许经过了治理，现在的河水清澈了许多，看上去像个大玉盘。太阳一照，河面上撒满了无数晶莹的亮片，波光粼粼，金光点点。偶尔还会有一两条小鱼，拍动着鱼鳍，纵身一跃，在河面上无忧无虑地跳着新编的“蹦极”。柳树垂下一条条长长的绿丝带，像一片片绿纱帐，轻柔地触摸着河岸。当调皮的风娃娃吹来，柳枝被吹散开来，好像浉河妈妈在翻动着她那美丽的眼帘。整个浉河看上去就像一幅活动的画面，真是美若仙境。可是，牌子应该插在哪儿呢?这时，我看见有人把刚吃完的瓜子壳扔进浉河。心想：“就把它插在这儿吧!”

望着美丽的浉河，我真想大声疾呼：“希望每个人都能听懂浉河妈妈的呼吸和语言，来爱护浉河，争做一名绿色环保小卫士，共同保护我们的家园。”

Learning english can be a very difficult task for most people, this is because we dont live in a environment where we are forced to speak or write english. so i think the best way to learn english is by communicating with others using the lagnguage itself and not just learn from the book. We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are

still put into rivers.

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?

If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.

Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them.

The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.

Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

Environmental pollution is a serious social problem. It poses a terrible threat to men’s health.

The atmosphere is filthy. The air is thick with dust and burnt oil. Dark smokes are being emitted from chimneys, and choking fumes are being released from numerous vehicles. Stay a little while in a big city, then wipe your forehead with your handkerchief, it is black. Hang out your washing on the line to dry, you will have to wash again. Garbage is left to accumulate in unsanitary heaps that attract flies and give off bad smell.
