after class. They can also read some books or do some sports. For me, I often

hang out with my friends.

Recently, we have little time to keep close contact with nature. We spend

too much time on study or working. We almost forget that how green the grass is,

how beautiful the flowers are, and how sweetly the birds are singing outside our

windows. A saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". It means

that we need to relax ourselves and go out to breathe more fresh air. We can

also climb a hill in the suburbs.Its good for our health.

Every year, the thing I expect the most is the Spring Festival. My parents

work far from home and they come back one or two times a year. The Spring

Festival is the time they come home. Every time they come back, they bring mangy

things to me. When I was little, they bought me toys, new clothes and shoes.

Now, they often buy me books. They say more reading is good for me. They hope I

can learn more. The time spend with them is always happy but short. They only

have half a month at home. I hope they can stay at home longer.

I used to receive gifts like a basketball, a swatch or a CD. But the gift

I’m looking forward to is a bicycle though I can’t ride it now. How I want to

learn it well so that I can ride anywhere I want to go! Every morning, it is my

father who always drives me to school in all kinds of weather. Especially in the

past few days, he has worked hard until midnight. If I ride my own bicycle to

school, he will be able to sleep a little longer and work a bit harder. I hope

my dream of owning a bicycle will be realized in the shortest possible time.

My father bought a computer as a birthday present for me last year. It

becomes my best friend in my room. Id like to play on the computer as soon as I

get home. At weekends, I often play games on line with my friends. Ive made a

lot of friends on the Intenet. But my eyesight becomes poorer and poorer, and I

am not able to finish my homework on time. Its terrible that my father will

remove the computer. From now on, I should pay more attention to my study.

Computer is a very useful machine. Some of them are big, but some of them

are very small .Many people like playing computer. Computer has many functions,

so that people can do a lot of things by computer, like watching movies,

listening to the music or playing games. It can make our lives very colorful and

convenient. Various people can make good use of computer. Children can use

computer to learn and play games. Parents can use computers to work. I think

computer is a kind of wonderful and interesting machine, so I like computer very

much.

I am a girl of ten, and I live in a small mountain village far from

Taiyuan. The only person that lives with me is my mother, because my father is

away for eight years, working in a city.

During the Spring Festival, my father came back home. He looked thin and

tired. He gave my mother two thousand yuan, and told her that he would work even

harder, earn more money, and then he could take us to the city He stayed at home

for only ten days.We are living a poor life now. But what I want most is not

money, but my father. I miss him very much!

It was Mother’s Day. Sun Zheng thought he should do something for his

mother. He decided to help his mother do some housework. After school he went to

a shop to buy some food on his way home.

When he got home, he did his best to cook some nice food,though he couldn’t

do the cooking well. Thenhe cleaned the room. He felt very tired, but he was

very happy.

When his father and his mother came back and saw the clean rooms and dishes

which weren’t so nice, they were very happy.They had their supper together. His

mother said, "Thank you,my child!"

As a student, my main target is to study well and then make progress step

by step. When holiday comes, it is time for me to play, and I should be happy,

while playing all the time makes me feel empty in my heart. I have done nothing

at all. I want to do something meaningful to enrich my life. So a target is

needed for me. I set a small goal, such as, read a book, or help my mother with

her work. Everytime when I finish my target, I will feel so satisfied. The

meaningful life is to do something useful and make you feel happy.

The night of November 12th, 2010 was indeed a glorious night for our Chines, because the Opening Ceremony of Asian Games was held on Haixinsha Island in Guangzhou. Over 7000 people took part in it.

All of the performances were impressive, but the most interesting one was Sail on Cloud. During that programme, 180 performers were hung in the air to dance. How wonderful it was! Every audience burst out praise. I couldn’t help shouting. But it was a pity that I just watched it from TV. How I wish I were there!

It is well known that exercise is important. In our school, we have to do an hours exercise every day. Many students are very happy. In the one hour, some of us play basketball, football and ping pong, and some run around the playground. Everyone is talking and laughing. I love this activity very much. I also hope that there will be more and more sunlight sports in our life after school. That not only makes us happy, but also makes our body healthier.

Thanksgiving Day

In the United States， the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day。 On that day， Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the year。Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day。 People always celebrate with big dinners and happy reunions。 Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional Thanksgiving desserts。 Relatives from other cities， students who have been away at school， and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday at home。

A Visit to the Flower Show

Last week Nature Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful

flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan. Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.

As the only child in my family, I know how much effort my parents put upon me, therefore I want to do something for my parents .I can give them hugs and kisses when they get home after a day of hard work. Then, I will take their slippers for them. I cant cook, but I can always help my mather wash the dishes. I cant read that much words, but I can always fetch my father his glasses whenever he needs them. In the evening I will make beds for them before they go to sleep.

How to be a good learner?

As a good learner， we should have good habits and ways of learning。

We need to get ready for our lessons before class and always listen carefully in class。 It’s good to study in groups and help each other。 We should do more reading in our free time。 If we have some problems， we’d better ask others for help。 As a student， working hard is important， but don’t forget to do sports and keep healthy。

Father’s Day is coming and you must be thinking of giving a present to your father。 Different people like different kinds of gifts。

There are many television programs in Taiwan today, from TV aeries, quiz shows, soap operas, movies to cartoons. Of all the programs, I like to watch cartoons the best, like Cartoon network, Disney and many others. I like to watch cartoons because they are funny and very interesting, especially when I am sad, tired or bored. I also like cartoon characters. they are so cute and vivid. We must use our imagination when we watch cartoons. Because they are often exaggerated, so you need to have a sense of humor.

Watching anime is one of the favorite things I like to do. Some one may say watching anime is a waste of time and a kind of naive thing, but I dont think so. In fact, I can learn a lot from watching anime. For example , never give up , believe , confidence , intelligent and so on. I like the person in the anime too. Because they are usually stronger or cooler than the real people. 我的妈妈是——“狐狸”。因为她每次出门前都要好好打扮一番，走在外面扬头舞爪，非常骄傲。我的妈妈还有一个特点，那就是高超的骗人演技——有一次，我放学回来，正准备上个洗手间，突然听到一声尖叫：“张昕韵，你快过来，你的抄作业本呢?”“啊!不会被我的同桌带回家了吧?”我惊讶地说。各种疑点出现在我的脑海里。正当我焦急的时候，我发现妈妈的手里放着一个东西，我说：“把你的手拿出来，让我看看。”妈妈有点不好意思了。以后，妈妈再也不逗我了。

我的爸爸——“无敌大懒猪”。每次早晨妈妈和我都在吃早饭的时候，我的“大懒猪”爸爸恐怕还在呼呼大睡吧。都已经八点了，爸爸才迷迷糊糊的洗了脸。到了吃午饭的时间了，爸爸赶紧溜出房间，来到饭桌上狼吞虎咽的吃着。吃完后，爸爸又悄悄地跑回房间，继续睡觉。

记得今年暑假爸爸妈妈带我去了威海的西霞口野生动物园，那里给我留下了深刻的印象。

整座动物园依山而建，一进动物园，先顺着一条蜿蜒的通道爬到了一座小山包上，通道的的两边全是凶猛的老虎，狮子和豹，光老虎就有东北虎、华南虎、白虎等等十几种。它们有的趴在草丛里打盹，有的在林间漫步。有游客买了活鸡扔给老虎，它们顿时暴露出了凶残的本性，只是那血腥的一幕太残忍了，那小鸡太可怜了。

我们又来到猴山，这里是欢乐的场景，猴子的品种更是多的数不清，一群群，有老有小可顽皮了。猴子们有的在树枝上荡秋千;有的在铁链上窜来窜去追逐打闹，使铁链发出“哗啦哗啦”的声响;有的悠闲的坐在山顶的石头上吃东西，还不时的向着四周张望，特别淘气的样子。还有一只母猴抱着一只小猴，认真的给它捉虱子。有个小朋友不小心掉了一块糖，附近的一只小猴看到了，飞快的跑过来，捡起糖扭头就跑，像离弦的箭一样窜到了一块石头上，用两只灵巧的前爪剥开糖纸，津津有味的吃起来。

接下来我们又看到了高大的大象、笨手笨脚的.狗熊、美丽的孔雀、可爱的松树和袋鼠，还有骆驼、斑马、河马、鳄鱼等等以及很多我以前从未见过的动物。

一天下来，我已经很累了，但离开动物园时还是有点依依不舍。这次动物园之行让我认识了很多动物，还学到了好多关于动物的知识，至今令我记忆犹新。
