We have to admit that, comparatively speaking, our cities are not so clean and green as those in the developed countries. There are not adequate trees, lawns and flower-beds in such big cities as Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai.

We should make our cities greener by planting more trees, grass and flowers. A green enviromnent can bring us pleasure, beauty and fresh air. Trees, lawns and flowers will make our cities more pleasing to both the eye and the mind, improve the weather conditions and provide fresh air, all of which will no doubt do us a lot of good.

I would like to make some recommendations to make your first visit to our town a pleasant one. The busiest street in our town is Prospect Avenue. There are many things to do and see in this street.First, you could visit the Art Museum, where an art show is going on.Directly across the street from the Art Museum is the library. If you would like to buy some books you could cross Third Street and go to the book store. It is on the south side of Prospect Avenue. From there, if you would like a snack, you have several choices. Continuing west on Prospect Avenue you could visit the ice-cream shop, the bakery, or the candy store. Finally, cross Second Street and enjoy all the unusual animals at the pet store.

To find Prospect Avenue from the train station,turn left on Fourth Street and head south. It is just two blocks to the entrance of the Art Museum. I hope you will enjoy your visit!

I like to live in the country that the sun rises in the morning with the first golden light & the first sound from the cock.. All the animals & plants begin their life from this moment on and some of the animals begin their sleeping the new day. What I expect for city life is not just about drink bars, shopping mall, entertainment center etc, although they are indeed better than the facility in the rural areas. What I expect for city life is a clearer environment, not only in the surroundings but also in peoples spirit. I hope the people around me are all good mannered with politeness and courtesy, there is no quarrel, no battle, people treat each other with respect. I hope there would be no traffic jam as in Beijing our country capital today where traffic jam happened everyday, which make the citizens feel depressed and great pressure.
