Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them.

Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty.

Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.

I am in primary school now, and I like my campus so much. The first time I

walk in the school, I am attracted by its beautiful scenery. There are so many

green trees and colorful flowers around. The environment here is so lively. So

many students do the sports in the playground. The comfortable environment makes

me study in good mood.

Welcome to our school! Our school is the key middle school in this city.

Now we are in the front gate. Entry in this school, you can see there is a big

football playground on the left and a big resturant on the right. If you’re

hungry, you can have something good in there. The grand teaching building is

right behind the football playground. We spend most time in the classrooms.

Behind the teaching building, there is a little lake with many fish in it. Oh,

there is also a nice library next to the lake. After the class, we can entry the

library freely to read the books we like. This is our school. Don’t you think

My school is very big and beautiful.There is a big playground and a big

garden are behind our teaching buildings. the garden is very beautiful.There are

about 2000 students and more than 200 teachers in my school.my teachers are very

kind and friendly.they are very kind to us,they often help us with our study.I

have many good friend.we often play togeter ,I have a great time in my school.we

Campus activities have been organized in many universities and colleges.

These activities range from academic to recreational， such as academic reports，

social consulting services， speech contests， poet’s club， painting clubs，

singing and dancing groups， etc.

These activities provide students with two major advantages. First of all，

they play a positive role in improving students’ studies. Due to their heavy

schedules， students are often busy themselves with textbooks and seldom expose

I am a student of Hope Middle School.My campus is big and beautiful.There

are many tall trees and beautiful flowers.There is also a big playground.Our

teachers are all very kind and friendly.They work hard and teach us very

well.They take good care of us,but they are strict with us.There are forty-five

students in our class.We all get on well with each other.At school,we learn many

subjects,such as Chinese,maths and English.We try our best to learn them well.I

love my school because it’s just like my home.

Early in senior high school, we longed to be enrolled in a university. Now

the dream has come true. But how do we college students like our campus

life?

Certainly, some relish it, finding it colorful and rewarding. Besides

study, they spend considerable amount of time improving themselves in various

aspect. Yet others do not think much of their college life, thus do not benefit

as much. In their eyes, the university is just a bigger high school. The only

difference is that they have more time at their disposal without parents looking

over their shoulder.

As to me, college life is ideal if only I have abundant books to read, some

bosom friends to keep me company, a couple of conscientious professors to

instruct me.

You see, walked into the door, and two rows of stand proudly welcome our arrival, it is like a soldier standing guard, guard our campus. 我的校园是个美丽的校园，你不信?我带你去参观我的校园。

你瞧，走进大门，两排傲然挺立的松柏迎接我们到来，它仿佛是站岗的士兵，守卫着我们的校园。再往后走就是一个美丽的花坛，开着五颜六色的花，好看极了还有辛勤的蜜蜂在上面踩蜜呢;还有美丽的蝴蝶也在那里飞舞着，好看极了!花坛的后面是教学楼，只见教室里摆放着整整齐齐的桌椅，它可是我们不可缺少的忠实伙伴，每天同学们端端正正的坐在那里聚精会神地听课，争先恐后的发言，时时传来朗读声，钻心致志的学习。教学楼的右侧还有一个篮球场，教学楼的左侧是个很大的操场，那里有很多学生在玩耍;每到星期一，所有的学生都到操场升国旗。操场上的左侧就是绿油油的草坪，那里可以玩耍，踢足球、、、、、、可好玩了。草坪的四周是亭亭玉立的杨树，它们兢兢业业地站在那里，好像是保卫着国家的栋梁之材。在抬眼望外看就是围墙，围墙上爬满了爬山虎，到了秋天，爬山虎的叶子慢慢的变红了，好看极了，真是一道美丽的风景线。

I study in the No.1 Primary School. Its one of the best primary schools in my city. There are four buildings in campus.Two of them are teaching buildings. The other two are library and gym. The teaching buildings are huge and the classroom is large and bright. There are plenty of books in the library. I like reading books in the library. After class, students like playing in the gym. It’s a popular place after class. Besides, our teachers are great. They care much about students. I am happy to study in my school.

乌云密布，看起来就快要下雨了，正当我这么想时，雨滴滴答答的落下，却浇不熄我对这场比赛的兴奋，因为我热爱着轮滑，所以当我可以比赛时，我都会把握住每一个机会，这一次，我也要拿个好成绩!

但是，老天爷给了我机会，也给了我一个强劲的对手。雨渐渐的停了，比赛也恢复正常，可是这时的我，并不知道有个很大的挑战在等着我，我若无其事的进场准备，接着，我站到了起跑线，裁判一声“哔!”我用尽权力冲刺，却有一个人，比我还要快，我努力的追，却还是难以望其项背，冲过了终点线。

下场后，我哭了，眼泪像刚刚的雨一样，一滴一滴的落下，我好恨自己为什么追不到前面的那个人，我好恨自己为什么那么努力了却还是输，眼泪不停的流，等到我情绪发泄完之后，我才终于平静下来，等待名次的公布。

终于，我听到了我的名次，第四名和第三名，我很高兴，因为我从来没有那么好的成绩过，秒数也进步很多，所以，虽然我没有得到第一名，可是，只要我有进步，就是我在学轮滑的过程中最美好的事了!

4月8日上午，多云间晴，上城区体育节的轮滑比赛在横河轮滑场开幕了。有来自上城区的幼儿园和中小学的许多同学来参加。我在观众台上给我们大学路小学当啦啦队员。

“砰”的一声，比赛开始啦!场上的运动员们像箭一样地滑了出去。赛道上，运动员们你追我赶，都向着终点冲去。观众台上，啦啦队的叫喊声一个比一个响亮，都在为运动员们加油鼓劲呢!

轮到我们班的陈瑞炫同学开始比赛了，我站在观众台上，比他还要紧张，两只手握的紧紧的，只见他拼命地向前滑，50米、20米……离终点越来越近了，我大声地给他加油，他第一个冲过终点，太好了，他胜利啦!

在后面一组比赛中，我看到有一个运动员哥哥飞快地滑着，突然他狠狠地摔在了地上，两个膝盖都流出血，可是他没有放弃比赛，咬着牙、勇敢地爬起来继续往前冲，最后他还是获得了第一名!当他走过来时，大家都给他热烈地鼓掌。

半天的比赛很快就结束了，很多同学都拿到奖状，他们太棒啦!我们班的陈瑞炫同学还获得2个项目的冠军，我们学校也获得团体第一的好成绩，我太激动，太开心了!

8月1号对我来说是一个重要的日子，因为我要去万达广场参加全国的轮滑比赛。

在路上，爸爸怕我太紧张，就给我讲了几个故事。可是，我依旧很紧张，害怕自己没有拿到理想的名次。

比赛快开始了，我和我的队友，一起来到比赛门口检录。进入赛场后，我心里越来越紧张。可是当抽卡片决定跑道的时候，我心里轻松了一些，因为我的运气真好，抽到了我认为的最好的一条跑道。

当我来到赛场的跑道上时，先深吸了两口气，慢慢地摆好姿势。只听裁判一吹口哨，我就用力往后一蹬，很快冲到了前面，我压住那一道，奋力地向前冲。哈哈，我是第一个冲到了终点，太好了!

可是正在我高兴的时候，爸爸告诉我规则可不是这样的，得看谁跑完刚才几圈用的时间最短。唉，我发现自己冲到第一的时候，就减慢了一些速度，完了，我可能拿不到理想的名次了。

不过，幸运的是我报了两场比赛，这才是第1场，所以第2场比赛我还有机会。

下午到了，第2场比赛也开始了。我摆好姿势，等着裁判一吹口哨，就迅速地蹬起了后腿，拼尽全力往前冲，再往前冲!

比赛结束后，我发现我自己取得了第7名的好成绩。真是太棒啦!

星期六上午，春光明媚。在中环百货门前广场上，我参加了由河南省轮滑协会主办的全省青少年轮滑大赛的300米速滑项目。

首先是参加比赛的一个大姐姐宣誓，接着是裁判员叔叔宣誓，接下来紧张的比赛就开始了。上午进行的是初赛，每组的前两名参加下午的复赛。第一组是年龄大一些的哥哥姐姐比赛，他们都是专业轮滑水平，看!他们的姿势多酷!

不过有一个小姐姐跑了一圈就退出比赛了，听妈妈说，她的妈妈鼓励她继续跑，可她说腿太累了，那个阿姨不停的给她讲，还一直都是笑着和她女儿说话，场面特别感人，后来那个小姐姐还说“没有机会了”挺可惜的!不过我想今后她一定会经常锻炼的。

我们那一组比赛开始了，当时爸爸只顾看我比赛，却忘了比赛中间给我拍照。这一张是我参加比赛准备起跑时的照片，动作还可以吧?哈哈!

我和其他三个小朋友你追我赶，很快滑完了300米的比赛。可惜我只取得了第三名，不能参加复赛了。不过程海老师鼓励我说今天来的目的是让同学们开开眼界，长长见识，名次不重要，以后还有机会，但我还是觉得有点遗憾!

因为我和赵易杰还有赵帅康都是轮滑技术比较高的，速度也很快。那么第一项一定就是——速度!“one、too、threego!”随着一声响，赵帅康与赵易杰都以最快的速度在小区的公路上如离弦的箭一样惊人的速度前进。而我呢，已经在返回的路上了。我一高兴减慢了速度。赵帅康马上追了过来。我大惊失色，再滑，没料到赵帅康快到终点了。这是，赵易杰也赶了上来。我、赵帅康、赵易杰，我们三争的不相上下。一会我第一，一会赵帅康第一，一会赵易杰第一。但赵易杰在比赛中摔倒了，我一急，马上加速，得了第一名，我终于松了口气，再来说说赵帅康和赵易杰吧!他们俩还在相互争夺。赵帅康一急，一个“车轮滚滚”就得了第二名。

第二项是花样比赛，我们请赵帅康拿来了八个障碍物。看谁碰坏的最多。结果赵易杰碰坏了四个，我碰坏了两个，赵帅康碰坏了两个。

轮滑既锻炼了平衡，又考验了技术，可真好玩呀!

这一周中，令我最难忘的事是7月2日那天的轮滑比赛。

早上六点半，我早早地就来到了学校的轮滑俱乐部，那里已经来了许多人了，可范老师还没到，他本来说一定会比我们早到的，但他迟到了。过了10分钟，小朋友们已经到齐了，就等范老师了。七点半了，同学们已经不耐烦了，甚至有的同学都想走了，我赶紧给范老师打电话，可手机上却说对方已启用短信呼服务，我又发了条短信。八点了，我手机上还是没有新短信，这可把大家急坏了。时间一分一秒地过去了，我们的比赛时间也在一分一秒地流失。有一个家长去通知门卫，门卫叫来了一个体育老师，体育老师带着咱们急奔运河公园。

我们马上换鞋，准备比赛。可是，有几个同学的比赛已经结束了，真是可惜!

终于轮到我比赛了，我一听我的比赛内容，差点吓晕过去：3000米淘汰赛!我可从来没有在比赛时滑过这么长的距离!到了比赛场地，裁判跟我们说明了比赛规则：一共15圈，每个4圈淘汰一人，最终留下3人决赛。我总算喘了口气下来。比赛中，我用尽全身力气滑，可是只得了第五名，我跟自己说：下午的比赛要加油啊!

下午，我参加的是1000米计时赛，一共5圈。这次和淘汰赛不一样，要滑完所用圈数。最终，我差点进入决赛，不过，我已经比原来快很多了。我相信，有努力就会有成功!

今天晚上，我和我的好朋友：赵帅康，赵易杰。一起来了一次别开生面的“轮滑大赛”你想知道是怎么回事吗?且听我给大家慢慢道来。

“轻眉，你到台上不能够紧张。”妈妈边开车边对我说。我今天就要去演讲比赛了。这可是我第一次比赛，我的心不禁有些紧张。

比赛的现场终于到了。妈妈连拖带拽地把我拉进了比赛的现场。这里正中央是一个讲台，讲台前坐着十几名评委。我的心都要跳出来了，要是我没演好，那可怎么办？我战战兢兢地看着妈妈，比赛的时间快到了呀！

我待在台下，看着时间的流逝。突然，一个声音打破了现场的静谧。“下面请吕轻眉小朋友上台。”我听到这一声响，赶忙去看妈妈，想让她给我一些鼓励。妈妈却不知跑哪去了。我咬了咬牙，握了握拳头，擦去了汗，硬着头皮闯了上去。开始，我低着头，不敢吱一下声，可是我又不能不演讲了（因为我已经上台了）。于是我努力地抬起头，心却像只兔子一样，跳个不停。我看着评委们，倒吸了一口凉气。我的天哪！台下有老师，有评委，有参赛者。我一定要证明我是最棒的！我鼓起勇气，用响亮的声音念出了台词。顿时，我的心儿跳得更快了，全场爆发出了一阵热烈的响亮的掌声，全场都鼓励了我，为我鼓掌，我的脸上也洋溢着笑容。

妈妈听见了掌声，笑呵呵地看着我的脸，说：“如果你有自信，你就一定能行！”是啊，只要自信，我就一定可以做到。

运动会开始了，作为参加滚铁环这一比赛项目的我，心里既紧张又激动。

那天中午，滚铁环比赛开始了，看到其它班的选手都因太紧张而掉落了环，还有两个班才刚开始比赛就撞在了一起，我不禁有点暗暗窃喜。就因为有他们的出师不利，才有我班的天时地利。

眼看就要到我了，我的心里像装了只小兔子“呯呯”直跳。运动会前练习的时候，我的铁环总是不听使唤，要转圆圈，没有一次成功过。我怕这次因为我而掉链子，从而失去第一的宝座。

前面几个人练习的时候都比我好，可这一次都没有发挥正常，让我更担心了。

轮到我了，我将铁环调整好，钩子放在合适的位置就出发了。我一路上都很顺畅，正当我得意时，铁环就像调皮的孩子突然离开了我，我赶紧捡起环又出发了。这时，我听到老师在旁边鼓励我：“慢慢来，别紧张，我们不会被追上的！”我又听到我们班的选手们在大声地喊：“加油，加油，千万别再掉了，第一已经在向我们招手！”

听了老师和同学们的鼓励，我的信心更足了，精神更饱满了，我想：我一定不能让他们失望！于是我格外小心，铁环也像我的老朋友一样又跟随我很远，好景不长，老毛病又犯了——铁环卡住了。我按捺住焦急的心平静下来，小心地扶好又出发了，终于我将铁环接力给了后面的同学。

……

最后，我们胜利了，终于得了第一。老师非常高兴地夸我们：“你们真棒！你们没有白练！”

是啊！付出就有回报，赛场的从容镇定，也让我成长了。

三百米决赛要开始了，老师带着我们运动员到操场上的跑道线上等待比赛开始。

听到了报名声报到我的名字是5号跑道线，我们跟着领头大班学长我站在了5号跑道线上热热身，做准备……

没过一会儿，发令员拿着发令枪走了过来，大声喊到“各就各位！预备！”我像钉子一样钉在起跑线上，眼睛目不转盯看着前方，“呯”的一声我像一颗子弹一样的跑了出去，像草原上脱缰了的野马飞快奔驰着，可是没一会儿就有人超越了我，但是，我还是在拼命用力的跑。

跑到半路又有一个人在我旁边跑想要超过我，我一股脑儿使劲跑，然后我还是冲了上去把他甩在了后面。等到快要跑到终点的时候，我听见了老师。妈妈。还有啦啦队……在给我喊：“加油！加油！加油……”听到这声音我更有力气，就像火箭一样朝终点冲去。

到了终点后我就想着虽然我没得第一名，得到了第二名。妈妈看我心里闷闷的，就鼓励我说：你已经努力了，妈妈很开心了，明年继续努力吧！我也对着妈妈说：嗯！妈妈，我明年还要参加争取得到第一……
