This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

Our Librar is a busy place.It is open every day from8:00--12:00 in the

morning and from 1:30--5:30 in the after-noon,except on Sundays.

The library contains a large variety of books. in it you will find both

literary and scientific and technical books in Chinese and in foreign

languages.In this building too,are reading-rooms with newspapers and

magazines.Perhaps English books account for over a half of those in foreign

lanuages.

We often go there to look for books which we want to borrow or to read

articles which we like to consult.Our library provides all useful reading matter

and reference materials according to our needs.Although we do not subscribe to

any magazines or newspapers,we are well informed about the recent developments

and new trends in the world as well as in our country.The library plays an

important role in our college life.

Zhang Dong is my best friend. He entered our class last semester. He is a

boy. Both of us are good at English, so we often have a chat in English in our

spare time. After school, we often play football together on the playground. He

runs so fast that I can not catch up with him. He is an excellent student. He

not only gets good marks in all subjects but also is very kind and modest. He

loves popular songs and also classical music.

There are three people in his family and he is the only child. His father

is a doctor and his mother is a Beijing Opera actress. Though Zhang Dongs

family is wealthy, he is usually simply dressed. He has a dream which is to be a

one page. I like travel, because travel not only allows me to enjoy the great

班上新转来一个学生，她从来都面带微笑，笑容甜甜的，暖暖的，把我们班男生迷倒一大片。但她不主动和别人交谈，除了必要的几句话，她总一个人静静地坐在角落读书。

偏偏她是我的同桌。一次美术课，老师要求同桌两人进行小组活动，合力做一个泥塑。任务一布置下来，她就对我说：“我负责捏泥人，你负责上色。”语气坚定得不容动摇。

我被她吓得莫名其妙。我是相当喜欢泥塑的，但总没有练习的机会。好不容易能自己做泥人，凭什么要我做普通的上色工作?起初，我心平气和地跟她协商，希望能换一个工作，但她一改平时温和的作风，怎么都不答应。一气之下，我向老师提出要自己做泥塑。老师无奈之下，将我们两人分开。

同学问我：“你平时和她关系不是挺好的吗?怎么这次闹成这样?”“哼，她就是一个笑面虎!”我忿忿抱怨。

放学，我因有事晚回家。进教室拿书包时，见到她在做泥塑。她动手能力不行，泥人捏得不像个人，简直是胡乱堆积成的不明物体。我嘲笑她：“一开始就该我来捏泥塑嘛!瞧你那技术!”她瞪了我一眼，把泥“人”推进桌肚，甩起书包奔了出去。

我心情猛地大好，背起书包向文具店走去，又见到了她。真是冤家路窄!我悄悄躲在货架后面，希望她快些离开。只见她指着架子最上方的红笔说：“叔叔，麻烦你拿一支黑笔给我。”我惊讶极了。店员也愣了一下，说：“那是红笔。”她的脸立刻红了，急忙改口说自己看错了，要店员拿一支黑笔给她，然后离开了。我隐隐知道了她态度为什么如此坚决的原因，她患有色盲!

第二天，我拿着一个泥塑给她。她看了，是一匹马，又看看我，眼里满是不解。“你不是很会上色的吗?我做完自己试了试，涂不好颜色。要不你帮我上色?”她明显地露出惊愕的神色，支支吾吾地说：“可……我……我想做一匹斑马，可以吗?”“当然可以!”

现在我和她，是形影不离的好朋友。其实，人与人之间友好相处，最高准则就是尊重。

问起我印象最深的同桌有哪些，我会毫不犹豫地告诉你:有“刀子嘴”、“臭美”、“闲事王”……

第一位同桌——“刀子嘴”

我和“刀子嘴”本是栓在同一条绳上的蚂蚱，关系铁着呢!可自从成了同桌后，我和他时常为一点鸡毛蒜皮的小事大闹不休。可谓是真假孙悟空大闹天宫，谁也不甘罢休。说到那薄薄的嘴皮，可谓是人人皆知!要是谁惹火了他，可真是捅了马蜂窝哟!她发起火来，声音又尖，连我这“巧嘴丫头”也得让他三分。不是有一句俗吗?“刀子嘴，豆腐心。”他就符合这句话了。我和她吵架后，只要我遇到困难，他仍像往常一样热情地帮助我。当我缺少墨水的时候，总是他不声不响、恰到好处地递上来;当我有小病小灾的时候，也总是他嘘寒问暖地关心我。

第二位同桌——“臭美”

“厕所里照镜子——臭美”。臭美是我这位同桌的一大特点。她总是把额前的头发用啫喱水弄翘，上课时，还故意把头发轻轻地摸来摸去，有意引起同学们的注意。久而久之，“臭美”便成了她的绰号。每当我嘲笑她“臭美”时，她总会摸摸翘，笑嘻嘻地说:“这不叫臭美，叫作时尚，懂吗?“臭美”确实懂得时尚，她这一技之长在班上还派上用场呢!班里排练文艺节目跳藏族舞，她设计做成的彩色坎肩把姑娘们个个打扮得像正宗的“雪山妹子”呢!

第三位同桌——“闲事王”

“闲事王”是我的“大克星”，当她被老师换到我身旁我心想:老师呀老师呀，你怎么把她换到我这儿来呀?真是“卤水点豆腐——一物降一物!”我和她坐几天就忍无可忍了。只要我上课开一点小差，她就会狠狠地给我一记“重拳”，说:“上课要认真听，不然我跟老师告状!”还把老师搬来吓唬我，.“哼，咱们骑驻看唱本——走着瞧吧!”也不甘示弱，不仅小心谨慎，不给她可乘之机，而且还寻找她的破绽给她一个狠狠的回击。因为有个“闲事王”在身力立，我可真是“哑巴吃黄连——有苦说不出”，不过，她的“紧箍咒”倒是使我的成绩直升云霄，稳稳地坐上了全班第一的位置!

这就是我印象最深的3位同桌，她们是不是与众不同呢?

西楚霸王项羽，是我很喜欢的一位历史人物。历来人们对他一直都有极大的争议，多少次文人笔下的英雄悲剧，虽然他一直是我眼中的英雄，但不得不承认，即使他在鸿门宴上杀了刘邦，但是那又如何，他仍然不可能夺取天下，成为天下霸主，还百姓一个和平安稳的盛世;即使有机缘巧合让他称了西楚霸王，也不可能千秋万代，如大汉般繁华，对后史影响至深。

首先，他太过自信，于是，只变成了自负。再者，从历史的角度，他该是饱读诗书或者礼贤下士，懂得纳谏。但是他是武将，会打仗，而且打的还不错，陈胜，吴广动摇了秦朝的根基，而项羽就是那最后的一根稻草，最后会死是因为他总是以自我为中心，不听取他人意见，甚至是自己的叔父，而旦太重感情，这一切便早己注定了他悲剧的下场。

其次，他太重感情。这是我喜欢他的一点，但却也是让他失败的一点。乌江战败后，他想到的不是自己保命，而是托付好自己的红颜知己虞姬和宝马。有句话，叫“最是无情帝王家”。项羽他不像刘邦，为了自己可以抛妻弃子，无情无义，天理不容，有人说这是“大男子主义”，无药可救。但我欣赏他的义气，和真诚，这是刘邦所不及的，是他们永远的差距。

再次，他很单纯。刘邦只在鸿门宴上稍一套话，就知道了曹无伤对项羽的进言，而项羽却浑然不知，一心一意地做自己的事，没看到刘邦背后的奸诈的笑。与狡辩多计的刘邦相比，西楚霸王项羽确实显得幼稚得多，甚至是傻。

最后，项羽根本就不可能杀刘邦。因为刘邦事先知道了消息，老谋深算的他敢去赴鸿门宴，就说明已经胜券在握。又有樊哙与项伯相保，张良，萧何和韩信的相护，怎会身死?何况项羽本就重情谊，曾与刘邦结为兄弟，怎么会杀他呢?他刘邦就凭这敢入宴，真真的会算计，让人生厌。

退一万步说，项羽就算杀了刘邦，都不可能夺取天下。败在刘邦手下，是必然的事实，因为他自身的思想，和当时环境的影响。也可以说是项羽成就了刘邦一统天下的霸主梦，刘邦成就了项羽的悲剧——一种足以令整个中华民族为之肃然起敬的悲剧。

文人悲愁，因秋日里百花凋零，人鸟声俱寂，因秋日里草木皆衰，日月光暗淡。文人悲秋，成了一种习惯，这悲，悲的凄切，悲的飘渺，悲的沉重。然而，这悲，亦是一种美丽。

悲，亦可理解为悲愁，悲和愁在诗人的眼里就是让人心碎的东西，就是让人流泪的东西。它很残忍，一颗原来好好的、安安稳稳的心，会被它渐渐地啃噬，咬得血淋，啃得模糊，再捧高了狠狠向下摔去。这是我对于悲愁的体会，但正是这份刻骨铭心的悲痛，让你无形中多了一份美，一分韵质。

想那黛玉，她含泪而生，泪尽而亡，她“态生两靥之愁，娇袭一身之病”。从她常含泪水的眼中，我感受到了她的悲愁，她的恬静的、文雅的、不俗的悲，怎能忘却，那双常含着泪的眼睛，那里装着她的悲愁。很难想象，没有了悲和愁，黛玉的形象还会在人们心中如此美丽。

“只恐双溪舴艋舟，载不动许多愁。”不知黛玉读到李清照《武陵春》中这最后一句时会是什么模样，但我知道，那必定会是美得令人心碎的容颜。说愁，怎能不令人想起李清照。是作为女性独有的多愁善感吗?是那“人比黄花瘦”的身骨吗?是那一段“冷冷清清，凄凄惨惨戚戚”的孤苦吗?是那一阙“更是离人损”的寒凉吗?李清照一腔愁情地愁并美丽着。女性的悲愁，悲愁得温婉而细腻，像潺潺的溪流，流淌在她们的字里行间，是一种别样的凄美。

而男子之悲愁呢?他们有力的膀子能否撑得住这心灵的悲愁?苏轼不能，“十年生死两茫茫，不思量，自难忘”，“相顾无言，惟有泪千行”。他一生三任妻子，王弗，王闰之，王朝云，他无法留住，她们去了，苏轼却只能空思量。辛弃疾不能，“君来正是眠时节，君且归休，君且归休，说与西风一任秋”。纳兰容若不能，爱妻卢氏西去，只因他的冷漠，他的薄情，当他悔悟，却也只能“常忆灯前呵手为伊书”。男子之悲，较之女子更加沉重，美得让人无法经受。

就是这别样的美丽，于悲愁之中凝固了人生的残缺，正如断臂的女神，只因她的残缺成就了美的神话。人生因这份悲愁而有了残缺，纵使它残忍，它令人痛，令人心碎，但这，也是一种美丽，无法抗拒，无法压抑的美丽。

“恭喜恭喜中国年，五谷丰登笑开颜。”欢乐的歌曲唱起来了，过年了!我们全家人聚在一起，有说有笑，真是快乐无比。可是，今年的年却被一个可恶的东西给占领了，那就是手机。

初一晚上，我坐在沙发上津津有味地看电视。我正要与老妈分享自己看到的节目，一转头我被老妈的举动惊呆了。她的头睡在枕边上，手机离眼睛只有不到十厘米，眼睛一动不动地盯着屏幕，一只手娴熟地在屏幕上滑动着，居然还翘了个二郎腿，我推了推老妈，她居然就跟没事一样继续玩手机，我又大叫一声，她好像没听见一样，捧着手机像捧着宝贝一样。我生气地转过头去，不再理她。看什么呢?什么东西这样吸引她呢?明明就是欺负我没有手机嘛!我又看看老爸，他正在追剧呢!哥哥在他的屋里玩“吃鸡”，他们都在玩手机!我突然眼睛一亮，发现桌子上有一个被哥哥淘汰下来的旧手机，嘿嘿!我如获至宝似的开了机，一会儿就玩上了瘾，手机上有许多好玩的小游戏，还有刷不完的抖音，真让我爱不释手。

热热闹闹的年很快就过去了。可是我觉得今年的年似乎缺少了点什么。与亲人团聚的时间都被手机占领了。我想说，别让手机占领了我们的时间，冷漠了我们的亲情。

was very naughty before. One day, I hanged out to play with my friends very

late, but I havent told my parents, because I thought they would not care. But

when I went home, I found my parents and uncle were sitting together, and they

looked very upset. When my parents saw me, they were angry to ask me why I went

home so late. I felt unhappy and shouted at them. Then my uncle told me that my

parents worried about me so much, and they had searched me for the whole street.

At this moment, I felt so touched, and felt their love.

It has been witnessed that since the coming of the cell phone, it has been

developed so fast, thanks to the high technology, today, the function of cell

phone improves a lot, some even can equal to the computer. People like to change

the cell phone, because they want to have more function, but some teenagers lose

wise mind on the road of changing cell phone. They want to buy the newest

product, so that they can show off. Recently, it has been reported a boy sell

his kidney for the purpose of buying an iphone, this is so shocked, the boy is

selling his health for a new cell phone. People should be wise to the cell

phone, they need to figure out that all the cell phones have some common basic

function, some new products’ function is almost the same. They should measure

their situation to buy a new one.

I believe when we were little babies, we were taught to learn to share with

others. At first, I don’t understand. But now I can understand gradually. Share

happiness will make me feel happier, while share my sadness with my friends will

make me reduce sadness. When I told my friends I got the first praise in the

recital contest, they all congratulated to me and said many good words, which

made me happier. When I got blame from my teacher, I told my friends, which made

me felt comfortable. Besides, their comfort also helped me feel better. What’s

more, sharing my experience with others that help them lots can makes me feel

satisfied. Anyway, sharing my emotion and things with others makes me feel

awesome. You’d better try to learn to share, and then you will understand.

It is the traditional merit to respect the old in China. Since I was very

small, I received the education that young people should respect the old without

any question. I kept it in my heart and showed respect to the old people all the

time. But as I grew up and with the development of Internet, media exposed the

negative side of the old people. They were rude and impolite sometimes, some of

them took it for granted that young people should serve to them. So people start

to think about whether it was worthy giving priority to the old. In my opinion,

it is the adorable behavior that deserves to be respected, instead of the age.

When old people were rude, they also needed to face the publics criticism. Only

the multi-respect can help people better communicate.

I can always hear the news of education innovation after I go to school,

and many teachers are talking about the importance of extra-curricular activity,

which is believed to bring more creativity and vitality to the class. Actually,

the traditional class pays much attention to the knowledge from the books all

the time, which is easy to let students feel bored. As a result, every student

is so excited about the PE class, because they can enjoy freedom and play for

fun. Extra-curricular activity provides students a different way to broaden

their vision and inspire their creativity. Students feel relaxed and can think

in the active way. Many great people got their idea from the nature, so if the

teachers want to improve students interest, the good learning environment

should not be limited in the classroom.

Before we read the books, the introduction will be showed ahead of the

stories’ beginning. At first, I get used to the introduction and have the main

idea of the stories. But later, as I read more books, I find the introduction is

not a good way to help readers to appreciate the charm of the stories. Usually,

the readers will get the main idea before they read the stories, because some

introduction is very specific, even the ending of the story is being told, so

readers will not feel excited and surprised in the process of reading. While if

they havent read the introduction, then every detail of the story will attract

them, because they have no idea what will happen in the next chapter. So I

advise not to read the introduction, and the unknown plot is full of

attraction.

April 4th is the Tomb-sweeping Day in China, which is one of the most

important traditional festivals. The young people will come back home and sweep

tomb with their families. The meaning of Tomb-sweeping Day is to honor the

ancestors and it has more than 2500 years history. Chinese people pay special

attention to remember their ancestors, so no matter how far they are, they

always know where they are from. When they are old, they will return to the

place where they are from. It is a good tradition. The sense of belonging makes

people feel safe. Whats more, the relationship between relatives makes the

whole family become stronger, because people are united by the same ancestors.

Thus, they treat each other as families and give support all the time. What a

great tradition it is.
