The way I go to school

I’m Li Hua.

I’m Li Hua. I go to school on foot. I have several reasons for that.

First, my home is not very far from my school, it is just about two kilometers away from school. It takes me about 20 minutes to get there. Second, walking to school is a kind of exercise. It is good for my health. Third, it’s pretty safe to walk to school because there is a lot of traffic on the road at this time of a day. So I prefer going to school on foot. It’s really a good choice.

This morning, my father took me to school by bike. I sat at the back of the bike, eating abanana. After I ate it up, I threw the skin onto the street randomly. No sooner had I done thisthan I realized that I had done something bad to our environment. And maybe someone wouldstep on it and tumbleover. I must pick it up. Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, agreat number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

When we attend university, the moment we choose our major, which most

probably means the job we will work on in the future. Some people choose to work

on what they like and give up doing something that is related to their major. A

girl made such decision. She learned music in the top university. After

graduated, she found that she liked to be away from the noisy city, so she chose

to run that farm his father left to her. It seemed so ridiculous for such an

who went to the wrong classroom and in the last few minutes, the policeman

helped them reach the right destination. Parents are also the targets that catch

the medias attention. Many parents are waiting outside while their children are

doing the test. When the students meet trouble during their ways to the

classrooms, people will do what they can do to help them without asking for

return. It is so nice for these people who offer help in this great days. They

are the loveliest people in the world.

“Growing Pains” seems full of knowledge and experience. So it does because

all of us have growing pains and also growing gains in our lives.

Growing up is not a very enjoyable time. It means I have to work hard in

studying and in family. Theres always so much homework given by teachers and so

many arguments between the parents and me. The time is fair, but it seems it

gives pains three quarters and only one quarter to gains.

But gains give me power and confidence. Successes and friendship make me

happy and enjoyable. We played with snow in the winter that seldom snows, we

flew kites in the night that usually belongs to homework, we ate several ice

creams that almost made us cold. We picked up leaven that no longer high up!

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And it s important and

下课后，我们快速吃完饭进入自己的考场，第一科考的是数学。发卷前，我观察了一下大家的表情，有人面带微笑，仿佛胸有成竹，有的惶恐不安，面露紧张之色，也有人毫不在意，一副无所谓的表情。

一点整，期末考试的大幕正式拉开了，同学们都正襟危坐，耐心而焦急地等待着监考老师的到来。面无表情的监考老师来了，宣读完考生须知，才开始发卷。安静地考场里，只听见刷刷的发卷声。

我把班级姓名什么的都写上后，快速浏览了一遍试题，“啊，都不难。”考前的紧张心情一下子轻松的许多，我觉得只要正常发挥，我就能完成我预设的考试目标。

“嘟嘟”的哨声响了，这是我们冲向考题的冲锋号，监考老师和同学们都紧张起来，监考老师瞪大眼睛，监视着我们的一举一动，同学们都握着笔，低着头在试卷上刷刷地猛写，考场上静悄悄的，监考老师来回的踱步声，同学们写字的沙沙声在安静的教室里回响着，考试顺利进行中。

考到一半的时候，我们班的“磨叽大王”张跃瀚竟然又出现了状况：画图时用黑水笔画错了，让老师再给他找一份卷子他要重写，好在最后他也跟上了我们的节奏，完成了考试。

一科接一科，考完数学考英语，考完英语考语文，直到三科都考完了，我才感到浑身一阵轻松。走出教学楼，我从心底大喊一声：“考完了，我们解放啦！”
