It’s the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there， there were lots of

forget to do my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.

are better-dressed and they enjoy modern life.

Girls are changing, too. There are many differences between the older and

younger generations.

I know a twelve-year-old girl, who, to my surprise, has little time to

play. She told me that she dreamt of being a dancer, so she must learn to dance,

play music and so on. Sometimes, she is out of breath under such pressure, but

she can’t stop because modern life is busy.

In addition, I find those girls know more and more. Although they are

little girls, they know how to dress fashionably. Sometimes they look older than

their age, though.

As an older female, I realize that compared with the modern girls, my

generation is less well-educated and takes part in fewer leisure activities. I

realize that we don’t make full use of our time the way they do. Therefore, we

should try our best to value our time and pursue our dreams.

We were sitting in the classroom quietly, waiting for the invigilator. We

were anxious to get the examination paper and see whether it was easy or

difficult.

The invigilator came into the classroom. He first looked around.

窗外，大雨倾盆，“哗啦啦”的雨声有节奏地时缓时急。那是上星期三的情景。我望着窗外的大雨，心里也不担心：我爸爸有车，会来接我的，我也不会淋雨，他肯定带了伞。可事与愿违，放学时，爸爸来是来接我了，可我却被老师留下来补作业。爸爸在门外等了好一会，走进来对我说：“你又留下来了，给你两元钱，自己乘公交车回去吧。”说完，朝我扔了两元钱，头也不回地走了。

我生气极了，自己乘公交车就自己乘，有什么了不起的!我背起书包，抄起桌上的两元钱就走了。可刚走出大楼，阵阵寒意扑面而来，加上冰冷的雨点，我不禁打了个寒战，先前的十足“干劲”也已烟消云散。走出校门，看见爸爸的“红色VOLVO”已开走，心情简直坏到了极点。

我心灰意冷的来到公交车站台，眼前的一幕却令我惊呆了：一位年轻人在雨中奋力地卖着唱，可周围的人却头也不回，仿佛卖唱者活在另一个世界，而等公交车的人却活在这一个世界。我心想：也许有人比我的命运还差，我为何不鼓起勇气，战胜这一难关呢?想着想着，15路公交车也来了，我上了公交车，在人挤人的又热又湿的环境下站着，心里却酸酸的，一刻不停地想着那位大雨中的卖唱者，以至于多坐过了一站。

走下车，我开始徒步回家，因为家住在比较偏远的地方，所以大约要走1.5千米。我淋着雨，背着沉重的书包吃力地走着。“小朋友，要不要帮你撑一下伞?”突然，一阵温暖的声音从背后传来。我抬头一看，原来是一位初中的学生，便答应了。我一边走一边端详着他，戴着一副大眼睛，眼睛眯成了一条缝，有一张大大的嘴巴，微笑着，个字不算高。刚开始我提防着和他聊天，渐渐地，我们也熟悉起来，我也不提防了，打开话匣子和他说说笑笑一路走着。

大概是1个半月前，爸爸挑中了一部让我印象深刻的电影《垫底辣妹》。 About 1 and a half months ago, my dad picked a movie "Belief Put of Spicy Girl" that impressed me.

故事讲述了一个直到高三都成绩垫底的小女孩，一直不学习。在高三被学校停课的时候，万般无奈之下妈妈给她报了一个补习班，老师给她的目标是庆应大学(日本数一数二的大学，相当于中国的清华/北大)。最后在她的坚持和努力下，她实现了自己的目标。

受此鼓励，我产生了是否可以直接挑战琵琶六级的念头。

另一件深深影响我的是5月份爬黄山的经历。我们来到黄山脚下往上望，哇!这么高!我的第一感觉：我是爬不上去的!但是在爸爸的动员下我们还是坚持着选择了步行上山：只有步行上山才能说你爬过黄山，坐索道只能证明你来过!途中一次次放弃的念头，但一次次坚持下来，最终，我们爬上了黄山。

当我们登上光明顶时，我有一种自豪的感觉;我们在巨大的挑战面前并没有放弃(也就是坐索道)，而是选择了坚持!最终我们成功了!我们也体验到了那些坐索道的人没有体验到的那种坚持以后的成功感和自豪感。

后来爸爸和我一起定制的琵琶基本功21天计划，我觉得可以尝试一下挑战自己的极限。

最后，在爸爸妈妈的支持下，我正式定下了直接挑战琵琶六级的暑期目标!

六级可不是这么容易的：加量的琵琶基本功、加量的练习时间把我每天弄得精疲力竭才能休息。

原来一个小时的弹琴量，变成了平时两个半小时双休四个小时;原来一遍的2345变成了十八遍;光洁的琴弦被我弹得锈迹斑斑(原有的保护层脱落);每天在四十度的高温下跑去加课;触弦过多的手指生茧长泡

不过尽管如此，我依然选择了坚持。每当自己想要放弃时，我就对自己说：“可可，你就这样放弃了，对得起你已经付出的学习和坚持吗?对得起一直在旁边默默支持你的爸爸妈妈吗?最重要的是，对得起你自己吗?”于是我又继续坚持了下去。

今天终于是对我所有付出的劳动进行检验的日子了!我走上舞台，从容地弹完曲，虽然没象小朱老师所期望的那样拿到全优，但我还是很满足了：“一件事你努力去做了，在结局出来时，就坦然地面对。”

经过这件事，我明白了，有目标很重要，但能为目标不断坚持更重要!我相信：这样的高难度挑战我都坚持下来了，下一次碰到别的事，我一定能像这次一样选择坚持。

接下来每次的跆拳道训练那个苦哇，比起跑步简直痛苦几十倍呢!教练要我们把腿压下去，我觉得自己的腿快被折断了，有时我在心里不住地说：“早知道，我不来了，我放弃吧。”可那个姐姐在台上的身影又在我眼前出现。于是我照着教练说的一遍又一遍地做着压腿、踢腿的动作，简单、枯燥不说，更难受的是累得全身要散架了似的，感觉腿脚都不是自己的了。经过一个暑假的训练我的水平提高了许多，在后来的考级中，我顺利通过了。教练给我们发了证书和腰带，这条带子是我用汗水和坚持换来的，如果没有这些天的艰苦训练，我肯定空手而归。

这个暑假里，我尝到了酸甜苦辣，但收获了成绩，我知道了大人们说的“坚持就是胜利”的道理。在以后的学习生活中，我会更加努力去实现自己的梦想，而且我更加相信坚持可以战胜一切困难!

对我初中生涯影响很大的老师就是阎丽老师，她的姓很恐怖，她总是自称自己是阎罗王，要管住我们这群小鬼。

她是个很美的老师，有一种古典美女的气质。记得我刚进安外的时候，第一次离开家去外面读书，刚开学军训的时候，阎老师总是对我慈爱的微笑，她总是担心我们这群孩子军训累了，热了，时常跟着我们军训的列队，教官下命令休息时，我一个孤零零地坐在草地上，阎老师和教官聊天，然后我听到他们的交谈，阎老师对教官说我很像她之前认识的一个孩子，然后就朝我笑笑，当时心里说不出的暖，也许阎老师不曾记得，但我至今难忘。

因为我的小学不学英语，所以我的英语底子不好，进入安外有点跟不上，阎老师就放弃中午休息的时间给我补习，从最基础的教起，不耐烦的一遍又一遍，我清晰的记得当时办公室里就是我和阎老师，她就坐在我身边教我，当我一个知识点了解的时候，她就满足的笑笑，然后摸摸我的脑袋，那种近似母爱的感情让我至今心里充满温暖。

当然，阎老师凶的时候还真的很可怕（阎老师，得罪啦，呵呵）记得那时我和一个男生和另外两个一个女生负责早上扫楼梯，我和另外一个男生刘涛总是早早过来打扫，等到女生来的时候我们都已经打扫好了。我们心里很不平衡，所以，有一天早上我和刘涛都没扫，等女生扫，最后女生以为我们已经扫好了，也没有打扫。最后，阎老师发现楼梯很脏，就让我们值日生出去扫地，两个女生和刘涛都出去扫地了，就是我坐在座位上读书，因为我平时做的最多，心里很不平衡，所以有点火大就没去。阎老师最后知道我也是当天的值日生而没有出去一起扫地，就很气愤的直接在班里很多人面前发我的火，还把我叫到她办公室谈话，她很凶地问我为什么不和他们一起扫地，我心里很委屈，就说之前几乎都是我一个在扫地，两个女生几乎都没扫过，我的心里不平衡就没出去扫地。说话的时候，眼泪都是含着的，因为确实觉得很委屈。阎老师就对我说，老师一直很看重你，觉得你身上有一股正气，当她说到这里的时候，我哽咽的难受，心里更难受。然后又说“吃亏是福”我知道她对我的要求远远胜过其他人，我也不忍心让她失望，所以很努力地做人，很努力地做事。

Never Put Off Until Tomorrow Whst You Can Do Today

We have been told that mever put lff untill tomorrow what you can do today since childhood. However, there are still many people who like putting offthc things thcv should do today until tomorrow. They have no plans for their work and their time. As a result, they will not accomplish their goals in the end.

For cxample, one Sunday I felt so tired after having a football match that I did not finish my homework even at night. I thought I could get up earlier to go to school the next morning so that I could finish my homework before class. But the next morning I was not able to get to school in time because of the traffic jam. I was punished by the teacher.

It taught me a lesson. From then on I made a determination that I would niver put off anything important until the next day. Please remember: Work today, for you dont know how much you may be hindered tomorrow. Seize the present day and trust the tomorrow as little as possible.

For the young people, it is very important to have ambition, they need the motivation to move on. But most of them are just talking about the ambition and never take the action. The action is as important as the ambition. On the one hand, ambition sets up the goal for a person to fight. Without ambition, no one can be successful, ambition is just like the light in the dark, it leads people to see the bright future.

On the other hand, action helps people to realize their dreams. Sometimes, action even is more important than the ambition. Everyone has the ambition, but the action makes them different. The one who just keeps thinking and not to take action will never be successful. As the saying that no pain, no gain, it reminds people to take action. So we need to have both ambition and action.
