Last weekend, I wanted to swim in the river that I usually wen in the

childhood. When I went there, I was shock. The river is no longer like before.

It was full of rubbish. It seemed that the rubbish is from the villagers

out, because their habitats have been destroyed; deserts are expanding, and

而我们对大自然如何能用“征服”呢，我们那么骄傲的所谓的“征服”不过是克服了困难去完成了一项我们觉得很难完成的事情而已，可这对大自然来说并不算什么吧！别忘了，大地抖一抖就可能引发海啸，火山爆发，地震，泥石流……每一个自然灾害都可能威胁到人类的生命。我们的“征服”说来实在让人觉得可笑。

记得之前看过一个报道，一位女探险家徒步穿越沙漠。在她走出沙漠的时候，迎接她的人无一不鼓掌祝贺她征服了大自然，而她却痛哭流涕的说：“不，不是我征服了它，而是它的宽容让我活了下来。”

我想，对待大自然我们更应该有的态度是：敬畏。带着敬畏的心与大自然和平共处，不肆意破坏，不肆意掠夺。敬畏她的海纳百川，敬畏她的岿然不动，敬畏她的四季变化，敬畏她的海阔天空，敬畏她的包容大度。

大自然是人类生活的家，你给了我们生活的各种资源。

On Sunday, my mother and I went to the Ocean Park to play.

As soon as I entered, I saw two beluga whales. They had bright black eyes and were white, plump and lovely. The shark has two rows of sharp teeth. Its frightening. There are all kinds of jellyfish with colorful lights. The turtle in the pond is so big that I can sleep on it as a bed.

The sea lions performance is particularly wonderful, some dances, some heading balls, and some hula hoops, especially cute.

Ocean Park is really fun, I am very unforgettable now!

中国人勤劳，朴实，有许多西方人所没有的优点。今天的中国人，挖山，填湖，拔树。过度的开发，走的正是当年美国人的老路。而且中国人更有美国人所没有的豪气，中国人要“征服自然”，中国人喜欢“与天斗，与地斗。”为了一点点眼前利益，不惜以牺牲资源为代价。建国以来，我们的人口翻了一翻，但我们消耗的资源却增长了几百，乃至几千倍。我们现在一天消耗的钢铁超过了1949年全年产量的4倍，日消耗量比1949年增加了1000多倍；我们现在每天消耗的原油，是1949年年产量的6倍，日消耗量比1949年增加了2000多倍。我们已经跃升为世界第一煤炭、钢铁消费大国，世界第二石油、电力消费大国。我们对此常常津津乐道，沾沾自喜。认为我们在高速发展，然而如果我们继续这样发展，并谋求达到美国人的人均消耗水平。那么我们已经探明的石油储量，仅够开采两年，我们所有的森林将在4年内被砍光。所以我们必须作出选择，是现在就作出某些牺牲，把发展的速度降下来，还是把沉重的代价留给下一代。环保部长周生贤说：“坐宝马车，喝污染水，是对现代化的极大讽刺。”我们现在已经知道，这样的发展，没有可持续性。所以我们提出了“科学发展观”。所谓科学发展，就是发展的目的是为了人类能更好的生存，发展必须有可持续性，发展必须坚持“以人为本”的原则。昨天四川武隆又发生山体滑坡，有消息称，这也是过度开采的结果。目前已造成至少59人被埋，26人死亡，事故再一次警示我们，忽视环境保护，必遭大自然的报复。

The whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. People in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world’s resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most pollution. A baby born in the United States will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world’s resources than a baby born in India. Unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all.

For most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. For example, China has carried out birth control for years. And this plan has a great effect on the world population.

If the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we don’t do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. 20世纪人类最爱说的就是“征服自然”，还爱说“……展示了人类的力量”。自然怎么能“征服”呢？爬上去踹两脚，这就是征服了吗？十几个人准备一年半载，满负物资装备，还得有人为他们打好一个又一个前站营地，惴惴不安地躲避着风暴和雪崩，侥幸爬到山顶插上旗子，难道说这就是征服高山乃至征服自然了吗？

意大利有个女探险家独自穿越了塔克拉玛干沙漠。当她走出沙漠之后，面对沙漠跪下来静默良久。有记者问她征服沙漠后为何跪下，她真诚土也说：“我不认为我征服了沙漠，我是在感谢塔克拉玛干沙漠允许我通过。”

同样的道理，登山是可以的，但登山者要摆正自己的心态：不是征服了高山，而是应该感谢高山允许人攀登。其实反过来想想，那么多的人不遗余力地要去爬高山，那么执着、那么强烈地要登顶，当他们怀有“壮志”的一瞬间，是不是已经被山的魅力征服了呢？

至于通过登山来展示人类的力量，更是大可不必。我们的“力量”大自然早领教过了：几百年长成的大树，人类只用三分钟就让它倒下；几万年才长成的一片热带雨林，人类几天之内就能将其变成一片焦土；大自然耍花几百万年才能生成的物种，人类用几十年就能让它消失。山，可以炸平；湖，可以填满；海洋，可以当作自家后院的垃圾场；天，都可以戳个窟窿……还有什么是人类办不到的？

老子说过“胜人者力，自胜者强”。用力量征服别人仅仅说明你只是孔武有力，靠自知之明和自律战胜自己才是真正的强者。

从古猿进化至现代人，我们一直都是在使用自己的智慧而不是力气。那么，我们为什么不能继续使用自己的智慧来消除自身的贪婪、自大和狂妄的“征服欲”，做一个真正有力量的强者呢？

什么是真正的力量？我想起电影《辛德勒名单》中的一个片段。辛德勒问纳粹军官为什么要杀掉这么多无辜的人？军官回答：“因为我们有权力”。辛德勒说：“不对，这不叫权力。”军官很惊讶，追问什么是真正的权力。辛德勒告诉他，有一个人犯了偷窃罪，他被带到国王面前，国王本可以处死他，但国王对他说，我赦免你。这才是权力！

一棵参天古树，本可以用来做家具，但人们没有伐倒它；一只珍稀野生动物，可能被投进汤锅，但人们保住了它；一片平静的湖水，人们没有让推土机隆隆碾过；一座圣洁的高山，人们放弃登顶，停下来欣赏它神秘且宁静的美丽，并把它的圣洁和神秘代代相传。这，才叫作力量。
