According to the latest survey, more than 50 million tons of food is being dumped in China every year. This wasted food can feed about 200 million people for a year. The old generation usually appreciates the leftover, if there is any food in the plate, they will eat them up; while the younger generation will dump the leftovers into the dustbin, they rather spend the money on other food instead of eating leftovers. I think such behavior is not only waste of food and money, but also broadcast the wrong idea that wasting food is acceptable. People should come to realize the importance of saving food. The governments should also take measures to reduce food wastage and encourage people to eat at home. What’s more, people should put an end to the expensive feasts and banquets.

I think this campaign should be moving on. Saving food for our offspring is everybody’s responsibility. Even if you’re a wealthy man, you still need to eat up the food on your plate. Waste is not a good habit.

其实节约粮食，做起来很简单：吃饭时，吃多少盛多少，不要剩饭菜；不在吃饭的时候，丢饭菜玩！不挑食，无论爸爸妈妈给我们吃的，还是学校里的饭菜，都是有利于我们身体成长的，为了自己的健康，我们都要通通吃掉它！

古人说得好：“食不言，寝不语”，吃饭不说话，既卫生，又不影响身体对食物营养的吸收，还能营造一个舒适的气氛，何乐而不为？“厨中有剩饭，路上有饥人”，不要浪费粮食，为什么不想想有多少贫困山区的孩子在为一日三餐而苦苦挣扎着？

民以食为天。生活的重要部分，每个人每天都要面对餐桌，就让文明从这里开始：养成一种科学、理性、健康的生活方式，身体力行，从我做起，从现在做起，告别陋习，携手文明，将文明餐桌进行到底。希望我们全校师生共同携手，让我们整个学校的所有饭堂，都变成一个文明、舒适的饭堂！

说起“光盘”，很多人都以为是VCD碟片。而我所说的“光盘”其实是指珍惜粮食，把饭菜吃完，杜绝浪费。

“光盘”行动是去年由网友发起的。一时间，“光盘行动，从我做起”的“光盘”行动就像一股清风，吹遍了整个中国，当然也刮到了我们学校。这不，食堂墙壁上张贴了“珍惜粮食”“节约光荣”等标语，负责分饭菜的阿姨们小心翼翼地盛着饭菜，每个班里还专设了“光盘”行动管理员。

“这不是存心为难我吗？为什么要开展这样的活动呀？”我望着盘子里的肉串和白菜抱怨着。因为学校里的饭菜没有一样是我喜欢吃的。于是，我想偷偷倒掉。我端起饭菜正想离开，忽然，脑海中闪过在电视上看到的非洲孩子那饥饿而瘦弱的样子。他们每天只有很少的粮食可以吃，有的甚至吃草根和树皮，经常饿肚子。和他们相比，我是多么的幸福啊！

“一粥一饭，当思来之不易”。看着食堂墙壁上张贴了的标语，我又不禁想起了一幅反映湘西农村小学生生活的画面：冒着炊烟的厨房边，扎小辫的女孩高兴地说：“我有午饭吃了”……孩子们对午餐的热盼，折射出“光盘行动”的现实意义：我国仍有超过1亿的贫困人口，全世界饥饿人口超过10亿！每年因饥饿死亡的人数达1000万，每6秒就有1名儿童因饥饿而死亡。看来，“舌尖上的浪费”理当再少些。

“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”是外婆教我的第一首诗，小时候我也帮助父母做过一些农活，可是哪里知道粮食来之不易？如今长大了，就应该自觉成为一名“光盘族”了……让我们都拒绝浪费，懂得珍惜。

我为“光盘行动”叫好，也不禁由此深思：拒绝浪费并不难，只需从吃饭开始。那种“浪费点不算什么”的观念只有及时改变，餐桌上的文明才能形成。

“光盘行动”之所以引来广泛共鸣，正因为它承载着现代公民的责任担当。从这个角度看，吃光盘中餐，不仅是一种美德，更是一种责任。

一粒粮食，一滴汗水，浪费的是粮食，丢掉的是中华民族勤俭节约的传统美德。让我们发扬中华民族的优良传统，“光盘”，从我做起！

前段时间播出纪录片的“舌尖上的中国”，受到了中国各界人士的一致好评。可是，在欣赏美食的同时，不由得联想到“舌尖上的浪费”。

说到浪费，就不得不提起中国人。那些曾经浪费了水、电、等不可再重复利用物质的人们，应该感到羞耻。而现在，随着人们生活水平的提高，有些人开始浪费起维持我们生存的食物来了，这实在是可恨。

有人认为，现在生活条件好了，浪费一点无所谓。于是，节庆时节，聚会场合，请人吃饭往往要多点菜，不然觉得太没面子了。公务接待宴会，菜吃一半，倒一半，人们觉得有公款报销，多点些菜无所谓，整只的螃蟹、动了几筷子的海鲜、整盘的面食，都被当作垃圾倒掉。据不完全统计，中国人每年在餐桌上浪费的粮食价值高达2000亿元！被倒掉的食物相当于两亿多人一年的口粮。“舌尖上的浪费”已经到了触目惊心的地步。

这时，“光盘行动”进入了我们的生活。“光盘行动”，指就餐时倡导人们不浪费粮食，吃光盘子里的东西，吃不完的饭菜打包带走。网友自发发起不剩饭菜、晒吃光后餐具的“光盘行动”，厉行节约，反对浪费，引起众多媒体和网友的热烈反响！“光盘”行动之所以能如此迅猛广泛传播，一方面，体现了人们对请客吃饭时造成的铺张浪费有了一次理性的回归；另一方面，这项活动与书记严打贪污，杜绝党内不良作风以及移风易俗开展新风尚的大思想不谋而合。

大家知道，中国财政每年用于公款招待的金额不在少数，大吃大喝、公款吃喝现象普遍严重，因此造成的铺张浪费数额巨大。普通民众对于这种公款吃喝现象深恶痛绝，恰逢此时出现的“光盘”行动，道出了民众呼吁良久的心声，顿感共鸣声一片。

虽然光盘行动有个良好的开端，但更难得的是持之以恒，因此我认为，我们一定能做到从我做起，今天不剩饭！让我们一起“光盘”！

我和妈妈都早已经想吃，老家水饺的饺子，也不是一天两天了。今天，我和妈妈一起去吃了老家水饺。我们点了两盘水饺和两盘菜，服务员对我们说：”这些菜够你们吃了，如果不够还可以在点的。“不一会儿，第一道菜上来了，我赶紧尝了尝，味道不错，紧接着第二道菜也上来了，我快速地集齐我的”士兵，“快速攻打邻国。过了一会儿，我和妈妈都吃饱了，给服务员付钱的时候，妈妈说;”让服务员把剩下的菜给打包。“服务员立刻把剩下的饭菜给打包起来，然后又给我了一把铅笔作作为光盘行动地奖励。

晚上，我们把中吃剩下的饭菜重新做了一遍，在妈妈的锅铲下，这一道道剩菜转眼间变成了一道道美味佳肴。

有人会说;”现在的生活条件好了，水里都能造粮食，还节约干什么。“可他不知道的是，中国现在确实都能吃上饭了，而非洲的那些孩子确要忍着饥饿的威胁。所以我们要节约每一粒米。都不要让它们白白流失!
