这种敦促春耕的节气，是怎样变成纪念祖先的节日的呢?应该说这与此前两天(或一天)的寒食节有关。寒食节是中国古代较早的节日，传说是在春秋时代为纪念晋国的忠义之臣介子推而设立的。其实，从历史的实际来看，禁火冷食主要反映了中国古人改火习俗的遗迹。原始社会，我们的先民们钻木取火，火种来之不易，取火的树种往往因季节变化而不断变换，因此，改火与换取新火是古人生活中的一件大事。春三月正值改火的时节，人们在新火未到之时，要禁止生火。汉代称寒食节为禁烟节，因为这天百姓人家不得举火，到了晚上才由宫中点燃烛火，并将火种传至贵戚重臣家中。对此，唐代诗人韩的《寒食》诗有生动描写：“春城无处不飞花，寒食东风御柳斜。日暮汉宫传蜡烛，轻烟散入五侯家。”

由于寒食节期间禁止生火做饭，就需准备一些事先做好的熟食(即冷食)，以备禁火期间食用，相沿成习，遂成寒食风俗。寒食节期间的食品，在北方，主要有以面粉做成蒸饼，上附红枣并捏成燕子形状的“子推燕”;有用梗米及麦芽糖调制成的醴酪。在南方，主要有油炸至金黄色近似今日点心的环饼;有用糯米与雀麦草汁舂合而成，以枣泥或豆沙为馅料的蒸食——青白团子。此外，鸭蛋、枣糕、杏仁粥、冻猪肉、冻鱼肉，也是寒食节常用的食品。

寒食节期间的习俗，除了禁火冷食，还有后来成为清明节主要内容的祭扫坟墓。中国古人对祭祀祖先十分重视。上古时候，家中有人去世时，只挖墓坑安葬，不筑坟丘标志，祭祀主要在宗庙进行。后来在挖墓坑时还筑起坟丘，将祭祖安排在墓地，便有了物质上的依托。战国时期，墓祭之风逐渐浓厚起来。

他将蛋带回家，惊喜地发现这是一个金蛋。

此后，农夫每天都能得到一个金蛋。从此，他靠卖他的金蛋变得富有起来。

When the crucian carp heard this, it got angry and said: "When I lose the water which is always with me, I cannot survive. Now, I want only a little bit of water so that I can survive.Yet you say such things. Then youd better go to the salt-fish shop to look for me."

鲫鱼求救

庄周家境贫穷。一次，他去监河侯那里借粮食，监河侯说：“好吧!等到年底，我收到了老百姓的税金时，就借给你三百金，行吗?”

庄周一听，气得脸色都变了，但是他却对监河侯讲了这样一件事情：我昨天来时，半路上听到‘救命’的呼喊声。我回过头来，看见干涸的车沟里有条小螂鱼。

我走过去，问它： “小娜鱼，你为什么喊救命?”

小鲤鱼回答说：“我是东海龙王的臣子，不幸落到这里。您能够给我一些水来救我活命吗?”

我说：“好吧!我正好要去南方游说吴国和越国的国王，那我就请他们激起西江的大水来迎接您，可以吗?”

卿鱼听了，气得不得了，说：“我失去了常跟我在一起的水，就无法生存下去了。现在，我只要得到一些水，就能够生存下去;你却说出这样的话。好吧，你不如趁早到咸鱼店里去找我吧!”

“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂”。清明节到了，这一天要去扫墓，去祭祀亲人。

叔叔阿姨都回来了，给我带了许多好吃的。下午我们要去上坟，我拎着一大袋子纸钱和几根柳枝，母亲拿着两捆柴草和炮竹，父亲扛着一把铁锹，我们拎着东西向山上出发了。

一行人步行来到爷爷奶奶的坟墓前，叔叔首先用镰刀把周围的杂草割掉，母亲把柳条插在坟头上。柳条上还挂一根又细又长的白纸条。母亲把捆柴草放在地上，用打火机点燃，我和堂弟锦皓就开始烧纸钱了。

我拿出一沓子一百元的纸钱，拆开摆放在柴上，一边烧，我和锦皓一边呼唤：“爷爷奶奶来拿钱。”

我发现每一种纸钱的第一张都比较逼真，像是真的，其余都很假，制造很粗糙。除了有纸钱，还有金条和元宝，这些还不算什么，叔叔还买了一副纸麻将，还有一幢迷你纸房子，都做得惟妙惟肖。我想，以前爷爷很喜欢打麻将，这次送了一副麻将，他一定很高兴。

纸钱烧完了，父亲和叔叔去放鞭炮了，“咚”、“啪”，哇，这种炮竹好响呀，还是带彩带的那一种呢。

回到家后，我又和父亲母亲去外婆家去扫墓，大舅、小舅、姨妈等人都到齐了，我们带着东西来到外公的坟前。这些杂草长的也忒快了吧，走来长这么高了，姨妈还是要把它们给处死。我给外公烧了美元，好让他老人家跟随地府旅游团出国旅游。
