除夕是每年的最后一天的晚上，那天正是农历腊月三十，正好和正月初一首尾相连，人们都要除旧迎新。这天期间的活动都围绕着除旧迎新，消灾祈福为中心。通常在除夕的前几天里，人们都要贴门神、贴对联、贴福子、贴窗花、贴年画来祈福，装点屋房。当然少不了给压岁钱了，压岁钱通常是长辈发给晚辈，愿在新的一年里学习进步，身体健康。

然而在正月初一那天早晨，开门大吉，先放爆竹，说到这儿，我想起一个传说，相传年兽会在过年的那一天来骚扰人们，于是人们在大年初一都要放爆竹，因为年兽怕响声，怕火光。不仅如此，他还怕红色，这就是为什么贴年画的原因了。有时人们也会敲锣打鼓，一是为了欢庆过年，二是为了赶走可怕的年兽。当然，关于年兽这个故事是不现实的，不科学的。也许是大人们为了不让小孩在大年夜里不乱跑，所编造的故事来吓吓他们吧！拜年是少不了的，放完爆竹，再挨家挨户的去拜年，一进门，看见这家的主人便恭恭敬敬的向他拜个年，然而他们也会恭恭敬敬的回敬你，他们会很客气的叫你坐下来喝口茶、聊聊天。然后接着去下一家。看到这样场景，便会想到很温馨，很和谐吧！

不同时期，不同地区，不同民族的习俗都不同。愿中国传统习俗永传下去；愿一年比一年过得更好；愿世界的恩怨以和平来解脱；愿这世界充满爱的希望！

盼望着，盼望着，春节终于在我们的期待中，风风火火地赶来了。说起春节，放鞭炮、挂灯笼、贴对联、团圆饭等这些习俗当然一个也不能少。

放鞭炮是人们谈起春节最先想到的习俗，每年除夕夜，我都会扒在窗台上看烟花。窗外五彩缤纷的烟花，如钢水四溅，似麦浪滚滚，时而金雨阵阵，时而银花朵朵，有的恰似鸿雁飞舞，有点宛如孔雀开屏。每当这时，我的眼睛就会应接不暇，这边的礼花还没放完，那边的冲天炮已窜出炮筒；这边的一树梨花还没喷完，那边长鞭的引线已经点燃……

春节的习俗还多着呢，看！那边门廊上红彤彤的是什么？这是春节的又一大习俗——挂灯笼。过年时家家都会挂上红灯笼，大大的福字喜庆团圆，在漆黑的夜里，增添星星般的美丽。

“千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。”大年三十是每家每户贴对联的日子，这对联的讲究可多了，要符合字数相等，断句一致，词性相对，位置相同等要求。“风摇竹影有声话，雨打梅花无字诗”，“福如东海长流水，寿比南山不老松”，对联在平仄之间体现艺术的魅力。

源远流长的春节习俗，需要我们去传递；绚丽多彩的中华文化，需要我们去传承。
