我不喜欢小巧玲珑的玩具，不喜欢各个小摊上的小吃，更不喜欢漂亮时尚的衣服，而是喜欢我的家乡＿＿豫灵。大千世界，每时每刻都在发生着变化，我的家乡也不例外。近几年，我亲眼目睹了家乡发生的可喜变化。

这几年家乡发生了翻天覆地的变化。您看那一栋栋的高楼拔地而起，高耸入云；亚武广场的建成，为人们提供了一个休闲玩耍的好去处！俗话说的好“要致富，先修路”。为推动各乡镇经济的不断发展，豫灵镇政府实施了“村村通”开发工程。通过实施“村村通”把各村以前的土路修建成了四通八达的平整公路，带动了豫灵经济的快速发展，从而提高了农民的生活水平。

原来的马路是一个泥潭子，如果不小心踩到泥泞的泥潭里，整个脚都会陷下去，好不容易把脚抽出来，可鞋子却留在了泥潭里。而现在，马路完全变了一个样，它像一个成长了的孩子，正展现着它的神气。虽然不能和大城市比较，但也是很好了。路边一家家商店开起来了，马路也变宽了，汽车在上面来来往往，这已经不是以前的泥潭了，它标志着新世纪的发展……

啊！我惊喜地发现，我的家乡正在发生着日新月异的变化，我们的祖国也在发生着翻天覆地的变化！家乡的变化是祖国繁荣昌盛的一个缩影！作为一名豫灵人我已经深深感受到家乡的日益兴旺，家乡的重大变化。我爱我可爱的家乡！

Lanzhouis situated in the temperate zone and enjoys a semi-arid climate (Kppen BSk) with hot summers and very cold and dry winters. Mean annual rainfall is 315 millimetres (12.4 in), almost all of which falls from May to October. The winters are so dry that snow is extremely rare.

In regard to air pollution Lanzhou has some of the worst air quality of all cities in China. According to the Blacksmith Institute, Lanzhou is one of the 30 most polluted cities in the world, with its TSP (total suspended particle) rating 247% above that of the Gansu State recommendation. The air quality is so poor that at times one can not see Lanshan, the mountain rising straight up along the south side of the city. At one point, a controversial suggestion was put forward to bulldoze a mountain adjacent to the city, in order to let fresh air in to the bowl where Lanzhou is situated. It was suggested on the premise that the surrounding mountains block a free flow of air in the city. The city is located in a narrow river valley with an unfortunate curve causing it to be hemmed in with no free air flow. Lanzhou is also the home of many factories, including some involved in petroleum processing, and suffers from large dust storms kicked up from the Gobi Desert, especially in the winter and spring.

I will have a seven-day holiday next week. In these days, I have many things to do. First, I must finish the exercises left by teachers, Chinese, math and English. It may take me two days to finish. I plan finish them in the first and second day. And then, I will go to see my grandparents with mom and dad. I miss them very much. So do they. I will stay there for three days. The last two days, I want to have a good rest or play with my friends. It’s my own time, so that I want to spend it with my friends. This is my plan for the holiday. What about yours?

下周我将有七天的假期。在这几天我有很多事情要做。首先，我必须完成老师布置的作业，有语文，数学和英语。完成这些作业要花我两天的时间。我打算在第一天和第二天完成，接着我会和爸爸妈妈去看望爷爷奶奶。我很想念他们，他们也很想念我们。我会在那里待上三天。最后两天，我想好好休息或者和我朋友一起玩。这是我自己的时间，所以我想和朋友一起度过。这就是我的假期计划。你的计划是怎么样的呢?

农历腊月初八是中国传统节日腊八节。在这一天里，不管你身在何处，都要喝一碗热气腾腾的腊八粥，腊八节虽然不像元宵节那样张灯结彩，但也是一派热闹景象。

关于腊八节有这样一个故事，据说明太祖朱元璋小时候家里很穷，便给一家财主放牛，有一天放牛归来过一独木桥，牛失足滑下桥腿摔断了。后来他做了皇帝，又想起这事，于是就叫御厨熬了一锅各种杂粮的粥，吃的那天正好是腊月初八，因此就叫腊八粥。

上一个腊八节时，我和爸爸妈妈一起去超市采购了大米、红米、黑米、核桃仁、杏仁、花生米、红豆、莲子等等。回家后，把它们放进水中浸泡了两个小时，然后一股脑儿倒进了锅里，加热水，开火熬粥，一小时，两小时过去了，慢慢的，粥的香味就飘散出来了。

终于开吃了，我给大家每人盛了一碗，然后坐下来慢慢品尝，味道还行，虽然吃起来不如闻起来香，但是我也算是体验了节日的习俗，亲手煮了一次腊八粥，过了一个有趣又有意义的腊八节。

腊八节过后，白天一天比一天长，晚上一天比一天短，预示着新新的一年就要来临了，人们就要开始准备买年货，准备迎接新年了，这个年也算完整了。

昨天，我感到非常累。我在上课的时候，我就觉得困了，总是听不进老师讲课。在家里我不想吃任何东西，我早早地上床睡觉，今天早上，我感到头晕，而且我的头是热的。我妈妈说我发烧了。于是她带我去看医生，医生给了我开了一些药，并告诉我在家里有好好的休息。这是不是太严重了，我希望我能好起来。
