How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people.In the past,people could not often have meat,rice or other delicious food.They could only eat these during the Spring festival.So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon.Now,although people‘s life is much better,and we can eat the delicious foods everyday.People still like the festival.Because most people can have a long holiday,and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family.In the evenings,we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes.

I like the Spring Festival very much.How wonderful the Spring Festival is!

春节是中国人民非常重要。在过去,人们不可能经常有肉,大米或其他美味的食物。在春节期间他们只能吃这些。所以每一年他们希望春节很快就会来的。现在,虽然人们的生活要好得多,我们可以每天吃美味的食物。人们仍然喜欢这个节日。因为大多数人可以有很长的假期,我们可以去旅行或访问我们的朋友和我们家有聚会。在晚上,我们可以有一顿大餐在餐馆或呆在家里和我的家人看电视节目。

我非常喜欢春节。春节是多么美妙!

新的一年来临，每个人都定下新年新希望，我也不例外，有好多愿望想实现，就让我细细道来吧!

首先我希望我的画可以画得越来越漂亮、越来越有创意，能够让老师帮我投稿。因为我喜欢画画，看到同学的画能够登在报纸上，好羡慕喔!希望我也能像她一样。为了增进我的画画技巧，今年起我要多利用下课时间或者假日练习画画，再请美术老师帮我看看哪里需要改进，而且以前我总是用粉蜡笔着色，今年开始我要尝试用水彩上色，希望我的画能更上一层楼，有机会在报纸上与大家分享，成为小小画家!

我也希望妈妈可以不要这么忙，多点时间陪我。妈妈一个人要照顾 我们三个小孩，所以必须做各式各样的工作赚钱，忙东忙西的，每天回家之后还要忙着家里的家事，检查我们的功课，所以没有太多时间陪我们。为了减轻妈妈的负担，我要在放学回家后，趁妈妈还在外面采茶时，先帮妈妈打扫家里、整理好房间，功课做完也要自己先检查好，不用妈妈为我操心。这样妈妈回到家就可以好好休 息，和我一起画画、游戏，陪我谈心、说故事给我听了。

每个人都有梦想，但是梦想不是想就会实现，所以我要努力，期待我的愿望可以实现，迎接幸福的新年，相信我一定行!

Spring FestivalThe Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people and is when all family members get together, just like Christmas in the West. All people living away from home go back, becoming the busiest time for transportation systems of about half a month from the Spring Festival. Airports, railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with home returnees.

The Spring Festival falls on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month, often one month later than the Gregorian calendar. It originated in the Shang Dynasty (c.1600 BC-c.1100 BC) from the peoples sacrifice to gods and ancestors at the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one.

The Lunar New Year occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first

four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on

duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill

pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses

are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at

the gate.

On the eve of the new year, each family has its members gatherd together

and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock

strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers

and other fireworks to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year,

almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. When

people meet on the way, they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends

and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children

indulge themselves in games.

光阴似箭，日月如梭，一年一度的春节终于来了!我又长大了一岁。

春节俗称过年。我和大多数的孩子一样都盼望着过节，因为过年可以吃到好东西，而且可以得到压岁钱，也可以放花炮。三十那天中午我和爸爸妈妈去爷爷奶奶家吃饭，菜全属于湖北风味。晚上我又到

外公外婆家吃饭，菜全属于四川风味，我比较喜欢四川风味的菜。

三十那天爷爷、奶奶、外公、外婆和爸爸、妈妈还有舅舅分别都给我了许多压岁钱。我很高兴，也很感激他们。

三十吃完晚饭后，爸爸、妈妈和我约了崔玥瑶和她的妈妈一起去放花炮。我们准备了各种各样的花炮，有年年有鱼、七匹狼、烟雾弹、空降兵、春花浪漫……其中有一个大炮叫百花争艳，我们把火点起

，天空中雷声响起，整个天空似乎变了个颜色，把我吓得退后了三十多步，爸爸还一再告诫我们燃放花炮一定要注意安全。我们玩得开心极了!

初一早上北方习惯吃饺子，南方习惯吃汤圆，所以我们早上每人吃了四个汤圆，喻意着四季发财、四季平安。

初一下午，爸爸还带我和崔玥瑶去看电影——《爸爸去哪儿》。这三张电影票来之不易。爸爸早上先去上班，然后去排了一个半小时的队，才买到了这三张票。这部电影里有五个家庭，五个宝贝分别是

：Kim、王诗龄、张悦轩、田雨橙、郭子睿。其中我最喜欢田雨橙，她的英文名叫Cindy。这部电影让里头的孩子学会了团结和友爱，同时在有趣的游戏中学到了各种能力和知识。

初一过后，我又开始努力地写寒假作业，这两天虽然时间很短暂，却给我留下难忘的记忆——过年真好啊!

传统清明佳节是中华民族的传统节日，传统清明佳节开始于周代，每年冬至后108天是传统清明佳节。传统清明佳节在每年公历的4月4日至4月6日之间，传统清明佳节又叫寒食节。

关于传统清明佳节还有一个感人的由来。传说晋文公重耳在逃亡中，一天饿昏了，他的随从介子推毫不犹豫地把自己大腿上的肉割下来烤着给晋文公重耳吃。晋文公重耳执政后，重赏那些有功之臣，却忘了赏介子推。有人提醒说也应赏介子推。晋文公重耳带着大臣去赏介子推，谁知介子推已经带着老母亲躲在绵山上，有人提出烧山，因为介子推那么孝顺，一定会带着母亲出来的。大火烧了三天三夜，大火熄灭晋文公重耳和随从上山去看，只看老母亲和介子推在一棵大柳树上烧死了。晋文公重耳非常伤心，下令从此以后不动烟火，只吃冷食。所以这一天叫寒食节，又叫传统清明佳节。

关于传统清明佳节有许许多多的习俗，有祭祖，扫墓祭祀，踏青，植树。传统清明佳节这天爸爸，妈妈还去纪念逝去的先人，去给逝去的先人扫墓祭祀。传统清明佳节这天我们还要植树，俗语说的号植树造林，莫过清明，清明前后，种瓜点都。传统清明佳节后天气渐渐暖和，农民伯伯也开始抓地了。

作为一名少先队员，我们应该在传统清明佳节这天去缅怀那些革命先烈让他们在地下安息。

SomeHolidays are so much fun that they catch on outside of their culture. The most obvious exampleisprobably Christmas, which is celebrated around the world by people who aren’t even Christian. Similarly, in recent years, the Dragon Boat Festival has moved beyond China to become an international holiday celebrated by people who may know little about the holiday’s origins.

有些节日实在是很有趣，所以在本土文化以外的地方也很受欢迎。最明显的例子可能就是圣诞节，世界各地的人都会庆祝圣诞节，即使是非基督徒。同样，最近几年端午节已经不局限于中国，成为国际性节日，而庆祝的人可能对节日的由来并不太了解。

The Dragon Boat Festival is one of three majorChineseholidays, along with the Spring and Moon Festivals. Of the three, it is possibly the oldest, dating back to the Warring States Period in 227 B.C. The festival commemorates Qu Yuan, a minister in the service of the Chu Emperor. Despairing over corruption at court, Qu threw himself into a river. Townspeople jumped into their boats and tried in vain to save him. Then, hoping to distract hungry fish from his body, the people scattered rice on the water.

Over the years, the story of Qu’s demise transformed into the traditions of racing dragon boats and eating zongzi – a kind of rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. The races have certainly captured the imagination of people from all over the world. Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vancouver to Sydney, from Gdańsk, Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30.

So what is it about the Dragon Boat Festival that appeals to foreigners? “It’s an unusual

sport,” says one racer from Germany. “It’s not like everybody’s doing it. That’s one of the reasons that there’s such great team spirit in a dragon boat team – everybody feels like we’re doing something special.” And what about the zongzi? “Ehhh, they’re not bad, I guess,” he says. “Something of an acquired taste. I just haven’t really acquired it yet.”

Chinese calendar.People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races,especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. Ití?s

very popular.

The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice,meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings.They are very delicious.

And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a

river.

Overall, the Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting!

In the traditional festivals, I like the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is the traditional festival of our Chinese nation. It is also the most solemn and jubilant of many traditional festivals. And in my eyes, the Spring Festival is the "Carnival" of the children, because the Spring Festival can be set off firecrackers, play games, watch fireworks... Dont be so happy!

When I said the Spring Festival, I remembered the scene of the Spring Festival last year. The day of purchase, I was there and bought a lot of kids race each other when fireworks during the day.

Look forward to it, and at last the "Party" in the evening has finally begun. The hungry we pigged out on the dinner on New Years Eve, drink! So much for the dinner on New Years Eve, I could not eat! 在传统节日中我喜欢过春节，春节是我们中华民族的传统节日，也是众多传统节日过的最为隆重、喜庆的。而在我眼里春节是小朋友们的“狂欢会”，因为春节可以放鞭炮、打游戏、看烟花……别提有多开心了!

一说起春节我就想起了去年过春节时候的情景。那天大采购，买了好多烟花白天的时候我就在那与小朋友你追我赶。

盼啊盼，终于到了晚上大家的“Party”终于开始了。饥肠辘辘的我们狼吞虎咽的吃着年夜饭，喝!年夜饭还真多，我都吃不下了!吃完年夜饭，我和姐姐拿着鞭炮冲了出去，拿出了“火绳”用老爸的打火机一烧，“火绳”就射出了五彩斑斓的光我把“火绳”甩起来“火绳”就像一个“火圈”一样好看极了!放完了“火绳”我们开始放“火树”了，我们用打火机点着了引线逐渐有一点点淡淡的火光的冒了出来，随着我们欢呼的声音火光逐渐减变大，渐渐地成了一棵树，我和姐姐就在旁边一边做动作一边喊：“高!高!高!”火光在树上跳动仿佛是小精灵在树上欢呼着、跳动着。终于放礼花了我，我们引燃了导线。99发的礼花像大炮一样陆续发送五彩缤纷好看极了!

在礼花的发射之下我们恋恋不舍结束了春节。
