每逢传统清明佳节时，人们不仅白天放，夜间也放，据说，这样能除病消灾，给自己带来好运。扫墓。清明扫墓，其习俗来由来已久。扫墓是为了祭奠逝去的亲人和故人，也是对亲人和故人的思念。虽然他们都已经不在人世了，但是，他们生前的经历在我们脑海中仍然清晰可见。这份思念是永恒而深刻的。插柳。据说，清明插柳的风俗，是为了纪念“教民稼穑”的农事祖师神农氏的。至今，被人们流传了下来。射柳。射柳是练习射箭技巧的游戏。也是传统清明佳节的一种习俗。据明朝人记载：就是将鸽子放在葫芦里，然后将葫芦高挂于柳树上。弯弓射中葫芦，鸽子飞出，以鸽子飞的高度来判定胜负。采茶。采茶是南方人的一种传统清明佳节习俗。清明时节，南方天气转暖，正是采茶的好季节。我国西湖的龙井至今闻名天下。

我们中国有许多传统文化，比如春节、端午节、中秋节等等，其中最隆重的要属于我们的春节了。传说，很久很久以前，有一种怪兽叫做“年”，每到腊月三十晚上，它就出来掠食伤人。人们知道“年”怕响、怕火、怕红，到了腊月三十这一天，人们就在家门粘贴红色的春联，放鞭炮，把“年”吓走了。这就是春节的来历。

除夕那一天，家家户户贴春联，吃饺子，农村里的人宰鸡杀猪，做年夜饭，到处喜气洋洋。

大街上，人们在开心地舞龙灯，龙灯的种类真多，有用布缝的布龙、竹子扎的篾龙、稻草扎的草龙，五颜六色，十分好看。舞龙灯的人们头扎毛巾，脚穿草鞋，扎腰束腿，舞出各种各样的动作，有双龙戏珠、大龙卷小龙、双龙盘旋。所有的龙一会儿慢慢游动，一会儿上下左右地翻腾，它们又分又合，始终不打结，真像活了一样。大人们都停下了脚步，小孩子们都高兴地跳起舞来，小脸上也露出了鲜花般的笑容！ 晚上，我们小孩子忙着放花炮，烟火飞到天空时像花儿一样盛开，有红色、蓝色、黄色……五颜六色，美丽极了！把夜空打扮得五彩缤纷、千姿百态。

春节真好，要是天天都是春节那该多好呀！

春节终于到了，我和爸爸妈妈兴高采烈地去奶奶家。到了奶奶家，爷爷正在贴对联呢!我和妈妈看到奶奶正在包饺子，就和奶奶帮起忙来，奶奶说："关于春节还有一个传说呢!"

很久很久以前，有一个叫年的怪兽，它经常来骚扰人们，让人们睡不好觉。又到了一年的初一，人们想逃跑，这时，来了一个白发老人，他非要住在一个老婆婆家里。不一会儿，年来了，人们劝他说："还是到深山去避一下吧!"他还不同意，人们只好自己去深山了。年刚走到门前面鞭炮的声音响了起来，年一步也不敢向前走了，白发老人披着红布走了出来。原来，年怕巨大的声音和红色，于是年被吓跑了。第二天，人们来到了村子里，发现白发老人还在那里，人们明白了，白发老人就是帮他们赶跑年的人。

今天，我不但高兴地过了年，而且我还收获到了许多知识。

What is honesty? Honesty means speaking the truth and being fair and upright in act. Considered a virtue, honesty is admired in every country and every culture.

However, there are still some dishonest people living in this world. Some people try to take advantage of other people whenever they can. Some businessmen are not always honest in their dealings. Some students are caught cheating over exams and punished to leave school. Some newspapers carry some untrue news just in order to attract more readers.

Actually, being dishonest is generally looked upon as an evil, and is despised and condemned by the society. But being an honest person, we can benefit a lot. First, we can have s peaceful life, for we will not have the burden of remembering every lie we have told. Second, being an honest person, we can be trusted by other people and have more friends, which will do good to our lives.

I do believe honesty is a virtue which is the only key to open the door to the success in our careers and lives.

So let’s be honest and make this world more beautiful.
