在去年除夕的早晨，爷爷奶奶带着我和弟弟来到街上准备买些烟花爆竹类的东西，嚯!这街上真是人山人海，还没进街心就已经挤不动了，放眼望去一片喜庆的海洋，到处都是红彤彤的对联，花花绿绿的各式烟花爆竹，五彩缤纷的气球、彩带等等，还有小贩们的吆喝声也不绝于耳给春节的气氛增添了热闹。我们好不容易买好了要买的东西，回去的路上就已经听到了，此起彼伏的鞭炮声了，那是有的人家已经开始吃除夕团圆饭——年夜饭了。

我们家吃年夜饭的时候是非常有讲究的，要按照由大到小的顺序坐座位的，爷爷坐在桌子的正中主人位(一家之主)，奶奶坐在他的右手位，爸爸是长子，则要坐在爷爷的对面，我们小孩子则坐在各自父母的中间，这是平时很少有的幸福感!在杯筹交错之中，每个人都要送上自己的新年祝福!我总能收到很多的赞美之间还有压岁钱。我会用的压岁钱做我想做的事，我除了给自己买新书记、文具和课外书籍，还会给贫困地区献上我的爱心，让那里的小朋友像我一样背着新书包和文具，高高兴兴地去上学。

吃完年夜饭，我们就要换上漂亮的新衣服，拿出自己喜欢的烟花尽情的点放了，我喜欢的烟花有“琵琶”、“小飞碟”，还有“烟雾弹”，这是我最喜欢的，它是一种球形，点燃后会冒出一种与球弹相同颜色的“烟”很漂亮，这种烟弹还可以用来玩“CS”游戏。整个晚上我们都沉浸在除夕给我们带来的欢乐之中……

啊!真希望20____年的春节快点到来，我将会度过一个更加丰富多彩除夕夜。

本学期，我将结合学校工作计划和学校教学工作计划的要求，规范常规教学，提高教学质量，努力形成自己的教学特色。

一、总体思路

以努力提高教学质量为目标，以抓好教学常规工作，提高英语合格率为重点，采用任务型教学法，注重“学困生”的教育补差工作，形成良好的教学风气。

二、学生情况分析

经过一学期的学习，从上期期末成绩来看，七年级两个班的英语成绩比较理想。平均分82分。大部分学生学习目的明确，态度端正，掌握了英语学习的一些基本方法，能够积极主动认真地学习，学习成绩较好。但还有少部分学生没有明确的学习目的，缺少学习的热情和主动性，自觉性较差，相应的学习习惯也差，加上两极分化十分严重。

三、教材分析

《Goforit》七年级下册共14个单元，包括2个复习单元。全书采用任务型语言教学模式，融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构，形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。每个单元都列出明确的语言目标，主要的功能项目与语法结构，需要掌握的基本词汇，并分为A、B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容，B部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。每个单元还有selfcheck部分，供学生自我检测本单元所学的语言知识。它采用“语言的输入---学生的消化吸收---学生的语言输出”为主线编排的。

四、教学目标

掌握本册书上的重点词汇、词组以及句型。通过本学期的学习，培养学生对英语的学习兴趣，形成有效的学习策略，有效提高学习效率，发展双基能力;培养听、说、读、写的能力，使学生初步获得运用英语的能力，达到语言运用能力的迁移和拓展;通过了解世界，了解不同地区的人文风俗，学会理解和尊重异国文化，并使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人，能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，相互帮助，共同完成学习任务，尽情享受学习的乐趣。

五、教学措施

1、加强词汇教学，包括单词拼写、词义记忆，语言功能的训练。

词汇是文章、句子的基本单位，词汇量的大小，将直接关系到学生能否流利地运用英语进行交际;能否熟练地用英语读和写;能否顺利地用英语思考。从上学期的期末考试所反映的问题看，在今后的教学中，在加强拼读与拼写的同时，应帮助学生进行有意识记，应加强对词的用法及内在含义的理解，要培养学生用英语解释单词的能力，逐步启发引导学生用英语思考。单词教学一定要做到词不离句，这样，学生在学会了单词的同时，也学会了词的一些基本用法。

2、每天背诵课文中的对话，培养语感。

3、基本的语法教学一定要与语境相结合。

进行语法操练时，要坚持“四位一体”，即话题、语境、结构、功能相结合。抓住话题，联系语境，确定语法结构，明确语法功能(交际功能)。要重视语法知识对于培养语言运用功能的基础作用，又要注重改革教法。课堂上一定要有生动活泼的教学活动。

4、进一步培养阅读能力和写作能力。

阅读和写作能力的培养是英语教学的又一重点。阅读和写作能力的培养在于平时。教师在平时讲解阅读理解题时，应着力帮助学生分析语言材料，而不是核对答案;平常应该多写作文。

5、做好学困生转化和优秀生培养工作。

尤其对学困生进行专门辅导，布置一些作业，让他们在小进步、小转变中体会学习的快乐，树立学习的自信，尽快成长起来。

7、作业布置要做到数量适中，批阅及时，对出现的问题要跟踪矫正，认真讲评，尽量面批面改。提高练习质量，要精选资料。

六、教研课题

《浅谈英语阅读能力的培养》

措施：用新的教学理念指导英语阅读教学，进一步改变教法和学法，培养学生对英语阅读的兴趣，提高学生的英语阅读能力，提高英语教学效果。

1、尝试通过各种形式的学习，例如复述课文、把课文改编成情景剧、阅读竞赛等活动，提高学生学习英语的兴趣，从而达到自主积累、综合运用英语的目的，并指导学生运用科学的方法记忆单词、阅读课文，取得事半功倍的效果。

2、通过信息技术与学科整合的手段，以课内为基础，增加课外阅读的量，指导学生借助信息手段和工具书理解文章基本内容的方法，提高学生的英语自学能力。

3、以复述课文、回答问题、判断正误、通过上下文线索猜词义为载体，培养学生的综合阅读技能，提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。

大年三十这天，爸爸妈妈带我去外婆家吃年夜饭，要过年了，我非常得开心，因为今天外公外婆要给我压岁钱。

到了外婆家，我们先把我写的春联贴到大门上。妈妈先把横批“一帆风顺”帖在大门最上面的中间，然后我把第一句对联“安定清平世”贴好，再贴中间大大的“福”字，最后把“祥和幸福家”贴上。

贴完春联后，我们就开始吃年夜饭了。今天吃饭的人可真多呀，有阿太、外婆、外公、小阿公、小阿婆、舅舅、舅妈、小舅舅、还有哥哥和我，真是大团圆啊。今天的年夜饭可真丰富啊，有美味的炒年糕，有香喷喷的牛排，有新鲜的鱼虾，有金黄的春卷，有鲜美的鸡肉，还有团团圆圆的汤圆，我们都吃得津津有味。

吃完年夜饭，我们还一起看了春节联欢晚会呢!我们还去放了烟花!

春节真是开心热闹的节日啊!

"xin" means "new" and "nian" means "year". there are many stories told about the origin of "nian", which actually is a name of animals.

the old story says that the beast "nian" with a very big mouth was so fierce and could swallow many people in one single bite. people were very scared. an old man offered to subdue "nian" and said to "nian": "i hear that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents?" so "nian" swallowed many of the other beasts that hurt people and their domestic animals. the old man turned out to be an immortal god and riding the beast "nian" flied to the heaven.

now that "nian" is gone and other beasts were also scared into forests, people began to enjoy their peaceful life. before the old man left, he had told people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each years end to scare away "nian" in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most.

The Spring Festival is our most solemn and most grand festival in China. Each family has been busy with a morning — — a spring festival couplet, a lantern hanging, a house cleaning, the preparation for the night dinner, all busy. My family is no exception.

Father and mother got up early to prepare for the Spring Festival. When I saw the big table, I couldnt help but the water. Chicken, duck, goose, meat, make me hungry all hook up. I hurried to ask my mother when I could eat the dinner. But the mother laughed and said, "“ and the firecrackers!" Look, youre in a hurry! ” I was embarrassed to laugh.

At the time of the dinner, my father and mother were happy to talk about his family. I could not understand it. I can only eat at one side. After dinner, our family went to play in the street together. The number of fireworks in the sky is not too many, even the car can only stop in remote places. Mother said: “ is this the people who see people, people squeeze people? ” I dont think so on the side. I looked at the flying fireworks with great relish.

我们中国有许多传统文化，比如春节、端午节、中秋节等等，其中最隆重的要属于我们的春节了。

“腊月二十四，啴尘扫房子。”过春节时，家家户户都要打扫环境，清洗餐具，到处洋溢着欢欢喜喜搞卫生，干干净净迎新春的欢乐气氛。

春节还要贴大红对联，它要以工整，简洁，精巧的文字描绘时代背景，无论是城市还是农村，家家户户都要精选一幅大红春联贴在门上面。

春节还要放鞕炮，到了年三十晚，鞭炮声、礼炮声、欢笑声、到处都是一片欢乐融融的气象。

到了春节，不管是学生，还是在外工作的人，能赶回家的人都会尽量赶回家和家人团聚，大家在一起热热闹闹地吃团圆饭，迎接新的一年到来。

还有一个传统就是我们小孩们最高兴的了，那就是春节我们都会收到长辈们给我们的红包，预示着来年我们都会顺顺利利的过着每一天。

我喜欢春节，喜欢春节的热闹!

今天是正月十五，一年一度的传统元宵佳节又到了。每当这个时候，我就想起了看烟花。

呵！看烟花的人人山人海，大家都在议论，想象着美丽的烟花。仰首望天，盼望着黑夜中出现光点。“嗖”一声火苗冲天的汽笛，打破了刚才的话语，火苗像彗星一样，拖着金色的小尾巴，投进了黑夜的怀抱。“轰”火苗驶出齐天大圣的“七十二变”，瞬间在空中绽开了美丽的笑容。嘿！瞧，一个光彩夺目的花中皇后——大牡丹闪亮登场！颜色多得数不胜数：赤、橙、黄、绿、青、蓝、紫，比朝霞云朵还要丰富，硕大无比。它那高雅素洁的舞姿令观众们赞不绝口，我也情不自禁地大叫，接着，那牡丹那牡丹分散成了闪烁着的小星星在空中摇摇欲坠，这个牡丹还没有谢幕，哪个紫色兰花又接踵而至。烟花们一个又一个地粉装登场，他们那优美的舞姿令我们眼花缭乱，连连叫好。

不过最出众的还是“流星雨”，只见火苗一飞冲天，顷刻间在空中炸开，声音如雷贯耳，炸开的流星拖着细长的尾巴四散奔逃，又飘飘然燃地落了下来，拖去了小尾巴，瞧！尾巴们成了才展开带黄色的嫩叶的柳丝，随后升腾起一缕白烟，宛若春风袅袅，我的思绪飞到了“碧绿妆成一树高，万条垂下绿丝绦”的柳树群中。夜空像是一条包罗万象的锦缎，绣上了一个又一个五光十色的花卉，绚丽多彩，令大家发出雷鸣般的掌声。

烟花晚会结束了，我仍沉浸在光彩闪耀之中，我真佩服烟花，他们一个个冲上云霄，霎时粉身碎骨，虽生命短暂，但他们为了大家，做出了流光异彩的光亮形象，这是多么可敬可赞的“烟花”精神啊！

Hello ！welcome to the special Chinese new years edition of discovering China. Im Alina Li and Im Ben Hedges, and today well be taking you through some of the most important traditions of Chinese new year and historical background. We will look at some of the legends behind Chinese new year and how to celebrate it. Here in the US and Chinese across the world.

The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.
