中国最大的传统节日是春节，每到大年三十，家里的男孩们都要跟爸爸和爷爷去坟地“请家神”，家里的女孩都跟着妈妈和奶奶在家里打扫屋子，准备贡品。大年初一，任何人都不能往地上丢脏东西，也不能扫地，这样是怕脏了“家神”的身，房子里还要放两把椅子，是让最大的“家神”坐的。大年初二一早，又要把“家神”们送回他们该去的地方。

在大年初一，还要“贡鬼神”，鬼其实就是“家神”，神是天上的神仙们，有钱的人家要贡上整个猪头，比较穷的人家也要贡上一块猪肉，因为在古代，猪被人们认为是富足的象征，贡品要在大年初三才能吃，在贡完鬼神之前人们不能先吃饭，要在鬼神吃完之后，人们才能吃。

大年三十还要贴对联，“家和万事兴”，“招财进宝”，“万事如意”，吉祥的祝语应有尽有。大门上还都贴上福字，贴福字可是有讲究的，要把福字倒着贴，表示福到了!

大年初一早上吃饺子，一般都吃素饺子，代表一年幸福安康，包饺子的时候长辈总是包里边一枚硬币，谁吃到新的一年会好运不断，晚上吃面条，我们这儿统称“汤”，表示日子过得杠杠地!

初一早晨人们都早早的起来，穿上新衣服。真是“家家户户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符”。在传统文化中，我们小孩最爱的就是收压岁钱了。传说，以前有一个叫“岁”的怪兽，在小孩睡觉之后把小孩变傻，以后，人们想出了镇压“岁”的方法：在小孩的枕头下面放一个红袋，里边放上钱，后来就逐渐演化成了压岁钱。

几千年来，在传统文化中，中国人最看重的是全家人团聚在一起，这也是中国人在传统文化中最讲究的。无论相隔千山万水还是近在迟尺春节都要相聚在一起。年，讲究的就是圆满、喜乐。

贴门神这是几乎家家户户过年都要做的，关于贴门神还有一段有趣的神话传说：相传在古时候，有位龙王总想偷吃玉帝的贡品，玉帝发现后狠狠地惩罚了它，可龙王依然屡教不改，于是，玉帝让两位身强力壮的天神看守大门，不让龙王再来捣乱。可是两位天神和我们一样要睡觉休息。于是玉帝想了一个好办法，把两位天神的画像贴在门上，从此贴门神的习俗就这样代代流传。

在我国的闽南有一种习俗，就是吃饺子，饺子的谐音即“交子”，表达了人们对更岁交子，对新的一年吉祥富裕的一种渴望。而南方人则喜欢在大年的早晨吃汤圆，意味着我们在新的一年里圆圆满满，团团圆圆。人们还喜欢把一种叫“荠菜”的蔬菜和汤圆一块吃，“荠菜”有被称作“聚财”意喻在新的一年招财进宝，心想事成。

春节里，我们更少不了要放鞭炮来活跃一下春节时欢欢喜喜的气氛了。放鞭炮在民间还有一个传说：相传在远古的时侯，有一只叫“年”的怪兽，每到春节的时候就出来吓唬人，于是人们就想了个办法，用竹筒点燃扔向它，竹筒爆炸后发出很大的声响，吓走了年兽，放鞭炮的习俗就这样流传下来了。

进了老奶奶的房间，我发现桌子上摆满了老人的十字绣，我佩服的心想：“哇!这位老奶奶好厉害，都一百多岁了，刺十字绣居然还刺的这么好。”接着，我给老奶奶递上了贺卡，老奶奶笑呵呵的接过贺卡看了又看，一个劲儿的夸我贺卡做的好看。我心里感到美滋滋的。

然后，我给老奶奶唱歌、跳舞，讲笑话还给她削水果吃。当我把一个苹果递到老人的手中时，老奶奶像变魔法似的从身后拿出一盒“重阳糕”给我们吃，我们一再推辞，但她还是硬塞给我了。于是我就和大家一起分享这美味的重阳糕……

能给寂寞的老奶奶带来欢笑与快乐，我觉得这个重阳节过的很有意义。

我问哥哥几点了，哥哥说：“十点半了。”呀!我的春节联欢晚会快完了，哥哥说：“别着急，明天还可以看重播呢!”听哥哥这么一说我才放下心来。第二天一大早爸爸就叫我吃早点，是糖面，可我想吃辣的。爸爸说：“大年初一不能吃辣的。”只能吃甜的。我满面疑惑的问：“为什么?”爸爸说：“大年初一吃甜的就代表一年四季生活甜甜蜜蜜。”吃完早餐我们又出去玩了。

家乡的春节真好玩，有浓浓的乡情味，有春节的喜庆味，我真的好开心，好开心……

This year I have a happy spring featival with my family.

On New Years Eve,all the family people get together to have a big dinner in the resturant.During the dinner we have a small talk and play some games.We say some good hope to each other.For example,keep good healthe,try your best to do everything,have a good mood in this year,happy everyday and so on.

Thanks to this spring festival,it make our family people get toghther.We enjoy ourselves and in the new year we all fighting.

On the Losing of Traditional Culture

It is widely noted that lots of traditional culture is disappearing along with the development of technology. Many ancient architectures and traditional ways of living have been deserted. It seems that the traditional culture and craftsmanship will be replaced in this modern era.

The following reasons can account for the above phenomenon. Firstly, traditional technologies are always considered ineffective while the new sciences are always highly efficient. Secondly, it is costly to protect the traditional culture. If the fund used to protect the ancient culture was instead delivered to the poor, it will be helpful to the improvement of their living standard. Thirdly, modern science and technology facilitate both our daily and academic life a lot. For instance, college students always collect their thesis materials by surfing the Internet instead of borrowing books from the library.

In my opinion, although traditional culture is an ancient heritage, it couldn’t keep pace with the development of society. It is the tide of history that the traditional culture and technology will no doubt be eliminated in the end.

christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in china. christmas cards become popular with students. people hold christmas parties and exchange christmas girts. a lot or tv and radio programs about christmas are on. meanwhile the spring festival is less appealing (有吸引力的)to youngsters. thus some people wonder whether christmas will replace the spring festival.

this worry is fairly unnecessary. why ? one reason lies that christmas only affects christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. another reason is that christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. by contrast，the spring festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

i think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the west，a lot of western holidays have been gradually introduced into china. for us chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. for centuries chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. and we will treasure the spring festival forever.
