我举一个不久前发生的家庭事故：-1月4日早上8时许，兰考县一收养孤儿和弃婴的私人场所发生火灾，目前已造成7名孩童死亡，受伤人数不详。据现场民警介绍，起火地点为兰考人袁厉害家，多名儿童在火灾中伤亡。

今年3月以来，各种校园意外事故频繁发生。某校一小学生因玩危险游戏断送宝贵的生命，城区某小学生从二楼跳下摔成骨折，某学校一学生因与另一位学生发生争吵而打架斗偶，令人触目惊心。我们学校也不平静，教室里学生钱包被偷窃，至今窃者还消遥法外，有同学在校门口的丁子路口被摩托车撞成残疾，上周五又有部分同学在回家途中游泳。还有吃午饭时被开水烫伤，游戏时摔伤，所以校园安全应引起我们全体师生的高度重视和警惕。

2005年11月14早晨5点40分，沁源县第二中学组织全校初二、初三13个班的900多名学生来到汾屯公路上跑操，学生们跑到汾屯公路118公里+206米处，在公路上调头返回。前面12个班都调头返回去了，尾随其后的初三121班转弯时，一辆车号为晋D13513的东风带挂大货车像疯了一般突然碾压过来，在一片惊呼和惨叫声中，学生们纷纷倒地。东风带挂车“扫”倒一大片学生后，撞断路边的大树又驶上公路斜横在路上才停了下来。当场有18人死亡，21人受伤，其中32岁的班主任老师姜华也在此次事故中丧生。死亡学生中，年龄最大的18岁，最小的15岁。

因此，我们要有一定的安全知识来预防这类安全事故的发生，以及来教育他人。安全知识有许多许多，下面我就说说如何用安全知识来预防安全事故的发生。

行走安全：行人须在人行道内行走，没有人行道靠右边行走;穿越马路须走人行横道;通过有效通信号控制的人行道，须遵守信号的规定;通过没有交通信号控制的人行道，要左顾右盼，注意来往车辆，不准追逐，奔跑;没有行人横道的，须直行通过，不准在车辆临近时突然横穿;有人行过街天桥或地道的，须走人行过街天桥或地道;不准爬越马路边和路中的护栏、隔离栏，不准在道路上扒车、追车、强行拦车或抛物击车。这样我们便可以有效的减少一些安全事故的发生。

人的生命一去不回头，有时就因为一场小小的安全事故，而让自己葬送了美好的生命。所以，我们要行动起来，让交通安全铭记在我们心中。

我曾经听说过这样一则交通安全事故：那是一个晴朗的日子，一个男孩骑着自行车，不知要去哪儿，由于他骑得太快了，差一点儿就撞上了斑马路上的行人。行人劝他不要骑得那么快，可他不听劝告，继续骑他的“飞车”，脸上不时露出得意而急促的神情。这个男孩可能是有什么急事吧?要不然他怎么会骑得那么快呢?但这样很有可能会发生交通事故的，果然不出所料。在一个拐弯的地方，有许多人围在路中央，这不是刚才骑“飞车”的那个男孩吗，他怎么被车撞了?旁观者议论纷纷，“唉!这孩子这可怜啊!刚才不小心撞上了一辆大卡车，连人带车一起飞了出去。”“如果这个孩子车骑得慢一点，如果那个开车的开慢一点，如果……”可是，再多的“如果”也不能使这朵已经完全凋谢的蓓蕾重新开放。这个男孩的父母不知为这个倒在血泊中的孩子操了多少心，可现在只能眼睁睁地看着自己的孩子离去，让父母悲痛万分……

遵章守纪，就是尊重生命，尊重自我。当我们能做到这一切的时候，我们的社会便向文明的彼岸又靠近了一步。重视交通安全，是我们每个人的义务，更是我们每个人的责任。让我们携起手来呵护这文明之花，让我们远离伤痛，珍爱彼此的生命吧。

我们的学校位于县城的中心地段，全校有近两千名师生。校园内虽然没出现过大的安全问题，但最近我通过仔细观察，还是发现了不少人为的安全隐患。

第一是我们教学楼楼道内的安全隐患。这幢教学楼共有四层，每层楼有三百多个学生。虽然放学、做操老师都会组织学生下楼，但课间有的同学会在楼道内追逐打闹，有的同学趴在楼梯扶手上向下滑行，这样很容易将下楼的其他同学撞伤。第二是楼上教室走廊的安全隐患。课间十分钟，有个别同学会往护栏上爬，这样很危险。第三是一楼大厅的安全隐患。每当下雨天，许多路过大厅的同学都不把雨伞收起，由于大厅不够大，伞骨经常会刺到其他同学。第四是电脑室里的电源插座。听说有的高年级同学在上信息课时会去拔、插电源，这也是很不安全的。第五是高年级的同学经常因一点小事欺负更低年级的同学。

我认为，这些安全隐患都是可以避免的。首先要加强宣传。可以利用学校的广播、黑板、举办安全主题班会等等来宣传安全知识，让每个同学提高安全意识。其次要在有隐患的地方设置安全警示牌，时刻提醒同学们注意安全。有时还可以安排一些文明示范员在有隐患的地方加强监督。

我想，只要同学们自觉遵守学校的规定，不断增强安全意识，危险就会远离我们，我们的校园才会永远美丽平安!

We will never forget our freshman year at college. In general it is a time filled with anticipation, some anxiety, and wonderful discoveries.

The first thing I notice is the workload. It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before.
