Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as the Moon Festival), the third major festival of the Chinese calendar, is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month, as the moon is supposed to be at its maximum brightness for the entire year.

The moon definitely spins countless legends throughout the ages. Families were instructed not to eat the mooncakes until the day of the festival, which is when the rebellion took place.

The most lunatic mortal in Chinese history could have been the great poet Li Bai (701-762 AD), who once invited the moon to have a drink with him and his shadow to form a band of three. Li finally drowned in a lake in an effort to catch the moon when he was drunk one night.

The festive night can be one of the most charming and picturesque nights and the full moon is an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck. For thousands of years, the Chinese people have related the vicissitudes of life to changes of the moon as it waxes and wanes; joy and sorrow, parting and reunion. Because the full moon is roound and symbolizes reunion, the festival is also known as the festival of reunion. All family members try to get together on this special day. 我们现在所做的一切都是在为自己的人生积累财富，不要放过每次学习的机会，知识无处不在，我们应该懂得探索。每个人都应有自己的追求，不然这真是一个失败的人生，锁定目标，专注重复，永不言败。

人的一生就好比在拍一部电影，有的人把自己看成是电影的观众，享受着无穷的乐趣，沉浸在那虚幻的世界中;有的人把自己看作电影的主角，主演着人生的点点滴滴，将自己的“力量”发挥到极限;而我将自己视为电影的编导，影片的剧情由自己决定，因为我不想做那无知的观众，也不想做那失败的演员，我要导演自己的人生，拍好这部电影，因为我不想给自己留下遗憾，因为我要做到真正的无悔。

转眼间，我成为高一学生已3个月了。回首这3个月，心中就产生了许多感触。这3个月中经历的每一天，都已在我心中留下了永久的印记，因为这些印记见证我这样一个新生的成长。

首先，合理安排时间，调整好作息时间，分配好学习、工作、娱乐的时间。时间是搞好学习的前提与基础，效率和方法更为重要。

其次，要保质保量的完成老师布置的作业，认真对待考试，考前认真复习。

另外，积极阅读课外书籍，扩大自己的知识面抓住点滴时间学习。经常提出问题，与同学讨论，向老师请教;搞好师生关系，师生相处得融洽和睦;在这次期中考试中，尽管感觉良好，但还是不理想的地方，仍需继续努力，抓紧自己的学习。

知识无止境，探索无止境，人的发展亦无止境，我还有很多的知识需要学习。

Which is better, shopping online or traditional shopping? Different people have different attitudes towards it. Some people think that online shopping is very convenient, for it can save them a lot of time and energy. It’s especially helpful for those who are always busy with their work. Besides, through the internet, they can get more information about the commodities they want to buy and buy a lot of things that cannot be bought in local places.

网上购物还是传统购物，那种方式更好呢？每个人对这事的看法都不一样。有些人认为网购十分方便，因为这种方式可以节省许多的时间和精力。特别是对那些工作十分繁忙的人来说，网购帮了大忙。此外，通过网络他们可以知道关于他们想购买的产品的信息，还能卖到当地没有卖的商品。

Nevertheless, I’m not keen on online shopping at all, since most commodities which are bought online are of poor quality. Once we are cheated, we may find it difficult to make a complaint. Thus we should take more cautions when shopping online.

In my eyes, I prefer traditional shopping, because I can choose what I really need. Also, I can know the quality of every commodity more clearly. Even if there’s something wrong with the commodities, I can still ask the sellers to compensate for my loss.

Before Chinese students go to college, they have been told about the great

things on campus life all the time, so they have the motivation to study hard.

When they come to university, they begin to slow down their pace to study and

waste their youth.

Nowadays, a lot of college students lose motivation to move on when they

come to the new chapter of their life. Campus life seems to be relaxed and a

place to free themselves. Without the supervision from parents and teachers,

they choose to lose themselves in the computer games or all kinds of

parties.

So someone made the comment on campus life as the nursing house, which

satirized the students who wasted their precious time and youth to accomplish

nothing. It is the important stage for them to learn professional knowledge and

master skills, so as to be competitive and find their own place in the

For a wise student, they make the plans and improve themselves all the
