My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

文具店的老板是一个中年妇女，不过她整天都忙着刺绣——这是我熟悉她以后才知道的。她见我摔倒了，赶忙放下手中的活计，从藤椅上探了探身子，双手扶着藤椅把手想站起来，终究还是没起来，只是望着我，嘴角有一丝笑意。

顿时，怒火从我心中熊熊燃起——见人摔倒不搀扶一把也就算了，竟然还嘲笑我!我压制住心中的怒火，抖抖雨伞，捡起散落在泥水中的书本，拖着湿了大半身的衣服匆匆前行，希望能把这可耻的嘲笑抛在身后。

夏天的雨来得急走得也快。待放学时，雨已经停了。为了防止在摔跤，我走的很慢。很快，又回到了那条路，我大老远就看见那家文具店的老板娘坐在藤椅上探身向这里张望，我挺起胸脯，大步地从她面前走去，我不想看她那略带嘲笑又奇怪的表情，

“小姑娘，你等一下。”刚走到她眼前就被叫住了，“你看这是你的书么?”我突然间想起，我的书本的确却不见了。我走过去接过那本书，书上一点泥水也没有了，估计是被她擦拭干净了吧。但在这时我又想起中午她嘴角的一丝讥笑，心里有些纠结：我是谢谢她还是直接就走呢?这时，我看见她身体有些不稳，低头仔细一看，她竟然没有双腿!

我不但明白了她的笑，更明白了她的心。当我摔倒时，她分明是想扶起我，她的笑分明是对我的抚慰和鼓励。这时，我看清了她的心，她的心就如她手中的刺绣一般美丽。我为她的真诚善良而感动，更为自己的小气多疑而惭愧。

我的心，在这多雨的季节中变得暖暖的，弥漫了感动，久久，久久……

洁白的月光下，偏远的小村庄里，留守儿童铁蛋在简陋的房子里等待着他的表哥。

早在六年前，铁蛋的表哥去城里打工了，约定好在六年后的今天回来见他。今天早上，铁蛋就已经迫不及待了。铁蛋上身穿着表哥小时候的衬衣，下身穿着表哥小时候的裤子，心里就像揣着一只小兔子，“砰砰砰”地上窜下跳。

城里的表哥，始终记着这一天。他身上穿的还是当年离开村庄的旧衣服，心里也是迫不及待。傍晚时分，表哥来到汽车站。虽然天气凉了，但是他想见表弟的心情火烧火燎，似乎没有感受到寒冷。表哥搭的是末班车，车站里等车的人很少。这时，走来了一名警务员问道：“请问，你是坐末班车吗?”“哦!对!我已经好久没有见到我的表弟了，今天回去看看。先这样了，呦!车来了，再见!”说完，表哥连忙走开了，一副惊慌的表情，叫人觉得奇怪。

铁蛋觉得时间差不多了，来到村头的汽车站，望啊望，仿佛一直望着，表哥就能马上回来。经常半夜去山上打野猪的王伯伯路过，看见铁蛋问道：“铁蛋怎么不回家啊?在等人吗?”“啊，没事儿，谢谢王伯伯，我在等我表哥。他去城里打工六年了，说好今天回来看我。”王伯伯笑着说：“好哇!等着吧!”王伯伯走了。虽然天气很冷，但是铁蛋的手心里却冒出了汗，不知是高兴的汗，还是着急的汗。

末班车来了，铁蛋立马站好，准备迎接远道而来的表哥。表哥下车了，两人一见面立刻拥抱起来。“表哥，你真守信用，终于回来了!”突然间，铁蛋鼻子一酸，要哭，但他忍住了。“表弟，你好吗?我说好回来的，就一定会回来。!”表哥的眼泪也要出来了。两人欢声笑语地走回家。突然，表哥停下脚步说：“表弟，家里没有外人吧?”铁蛋马上否认：“怎么会呢!我的爸爸、妈妈都进城打工去了，就我一人在家，怎么会有外人呢?”表哥半信半疑地跟着铁蛋走进了屋。

突然，铁蛋转身把门关上，对表哥说：“对不起，表哥，警察来了。”躲在门后的警察冲过来，一下子把表哥抓住，给表哥戴上了银色的手铐。原来，表哥在城里打工，因为没有技术，生活一直很艰难。最近，他不慎被拉入一个盗窃团伙，作案后被警察侦破。虽然是初犯，但是表哥害怕，就逃回老家来了。警察一路破案摸到了线索，一直追捕到老家来。警察联系到了铁蛋，经过询问，知道他表哥要回来了。铁蛋了解到这一切后，决定帮助警察，让表哥重新走上正道。于是，有了上面的一幕。

铁蛋在月光下，坐在曾经和表哥一起玩耍的大石头上，目送着表哥被带走了。这一次，铁蛋没有忍住，哇哇哭了起来。他大声喊着：“表哥，我等你!”表哥回头望了望他，流下了悔恨的泪水。

也许人在出生之前，就学会了等待。那是一种顺其自然地等待，直到哇哇落地…… Maybe people have learned to wait before birth.It was a kind of wait naturally until it fell to the ground ...

事情很急，等待中的人会产生莫名的烦恼。就如大型的手术，亲人站住门外来回徘徊，存在亲人心里的有期盼，期盼手术的成功，有焦虑，焦虑病人的安危。人在这种等待中产生了烦恼，等待事情结果的烦恼。没有得到事情的结果，喜悦与忧伤不知道如何选择，这样的烦。当你快迟到时，你还在堵车中，你只能焦急的等待;当你去火车站购票时，发现前面已经排了更早的很多人，你不得不安静的等待……所以等待是会让人焦急、不安、无奈的。

如果没有等待呢?是不是步伐就能更快一点，能早点到达目的地?在其它的文章中读到一个故事：

从前，有一个年轻人与女朋友约会。因为来得太早，但他又不喜欢等待，所以长吁短叹。突然他的面前，出现了一个天使。天使送给他一样东西，只要按一下按钮，就可以逃过所有的等待时间。年轻人马上按了一下按钮，女朋友立即出现在他面前。要是现在马上结婚就好了。于是他又按了一个按钮。出现在他面前的是隆重的婚礼现场，他和女朋友走上红地毯。要是现在我们就有了孩子，多好啊!于是，他的想法又实现了。他心中的愿望不断地超前实现。一时之间，妻子、孩子、房子、事业都有了，可是，看看自己，已经是风烛残年。他一直追求快点实现自己的愿望，很多东西都没有享受就已经过去了。

读完这个故事，发现等待有时也是种享受，它是种顺其自然。加快行走的步伐只能减轻我们焦虑的心情，却不能使我们更快到达目的地，有时反而使我们离目的地更远!最近的我，也是犯了错，不知道顺其自然地等待，让自己离目标越来越远。我总以为：当我们在等待希望的瞬间，时间像一只顽皮的小精灵窃笑着与我们擦肩而去，我们会没时间等待自己的目的地。但如果没有等待、没有时间的积累，得到的也会不去珍惜。

谁都憧憬未来，谁都不想再理想之舟中途搁浅，那就让我们都学会等待吧，等待是那种不行动，直到期望的人或事出现。就让我们学会做这种从容的等待，这样怀着心中的美好，积累等待。也许不知道在哪个下一秒，你的等待到了终点，拾起幸福就好好地往前走!

The environment has been polluted badly today and the nature punishes the

human being by all kinds of disasters, such as the heavy haze in Beijing, which

damages people’s health. World Environment Day is on June 5th. It pays attention

to call for the public to make an effort to bring the world a clean

environment.

Look at the pollution around us, which exists everywhere. The cars release

the gas which pollutes the air and the rubbish can be found in every corner of

the street. All of these daily incidents hurts the world we live. Especially the

factories, they release the heavy smoke and make the sky becomes dark. What’s

more, the wasted water flows to the clean river.

Though the government has made some action to punish the businessmen for

releasing the polluted sources, they still dare to take the risk of earning the

biggest profit. If we hurt the environment, it will hurt ourselves, because we

live together. The polluted environment threatens our health. If we want to live

the comfortable life, then the only way is to be nice to the environment.
