I like reading very much during summer vacation. Let me tell you something

about my reading.

One day, I just finished my meal and went to the front of the bookshelf to

look for the books I wanted to read. My eyes are on the famous little woman. I

couldnt help but pull the book out of the shelf. Sit on the bed and look with

Time passed by minute by second. Unconsciously, I have been reading for

The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar (阴历)holiday, occurring (存正)on the fifth

(庆祝)in China, and the one with the longest history (历史最悠久). The Dragon Boat

Festival is celebrated by boat races (龙舟赛) in the shape of dragons. Competing

teams (竞争团队) row their boats forward to a drumbeat (击古)racing to reach the

finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs

Fast food has flooded in our lives nowadays. Concerning fast food,

different people have different attitudes.Some hold that fast food is necessary

in our society while others argue that fast food is harmful to our health. As

far as I am concerned, fast food is necessary but not a must in our lives.

On the one hand, fast food is necessary in our today’s society. Although

fast food is not as nutritious as home-made food, it is a good replacement when

we are in hurry and have no enough time to prepare food by ourselves. It can

help us to save much time. In addition, fast food is cheaper but various and we

can taste different kinds of food by using less money.

On the other hand, however, fast food is not a must. Fast food can be used

to replace our home-made food sometimes, but we should not eat it very often.

Compared with home-made food, the nutrition provided by fast food is far less.

Therefore, eating fast food only can not provide enough nutrition for our

growth. Besides, the problem of food security is another factor we should

consider when eating fast food.

In a word, fast food is necessary sometimes in our lives, but we can not

没错，我最喜欢的历史人物就是这位大破曹军百万雄师的吴国水师提督――周瑜。

在本学期，老师带我们浏览过了许多的历史人物，然而，最让我“动心”的是刚毅果断的赵普。当我第一次学到这篇课文时，老师曾跟我们说过，赵普为人很正直，不予其他的宰相相提并论，他只读过论语而就可以帮助宋太祖治理天下，这之中，他的聪明才智让我刮目相看。喜欢这个人物，当然凭着这点是不够的。我还欣赏他的冒死荐才，为了国家，甚至是可以牺牲自我，也许，我很贪心，但是我也有一丝的希望如果国家领导中，有这样性格的人，那中国就可以更加的强大起来，但如今历史上有这样的人才，身为中国人，我很骄傲。

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. We use water to wash our face or to have a bath. We drink water or we will die…Water is also very important for China. There are 2.8 hundred millions of steres of water in China, but everyone can only use 2300 steres. It is only twenty–five per sent in the world.

Not too long ago, there was a man called Jacques Cousteau. He loved the beautiful colors, and the beautiful fish in the sea. However, when he returned some years later, the colorful coral reefs were dead and grey because the factory near the sea poured waste water into the sea. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! man, a mentor, a friend, and a partner. My favorite thing is reading.

books also bring me much joy. I remember one time, my mother bought me

"Insects", the book records many insects and their habits. I couldnt put it

down, and when I got home, I picked up the book and read it with interest. When

看过《三国演义》的同学都一定会知道诸葛亮是一个不可多得的人才，他不但熟悉天文地理而且精通兵法。让我最敬佩的就是“草船借箭”的事了。

我最敬佩足智多谋的诸葛亮了。

Nowadays with the ever rapid development and increasing popularity of the

information technology , shopping on the internet has been a fashion especially

among the youngsters.

Online shopping has made our daily life more convenient and comfortable.

For example , shopping on the internet can save students a great deal of time on

the way between home and store, so they would be able to concentrate more time

作为少先队员的我也应该积极奉献自己的一份力量，做到今年过年，不串门，不聚餐，督促家人做好卫生防疫，不得已去公共场所必须规范戴好口罩，使用过的口罩按规定丢入“有害垃圾“桶。注重个人卫生，常通风，勤洗手，不随地吐痰，打喷嚏咳嗽时应做出正确遮挡。在家开展学习，加强锻炼，保护野生动物。

As a young pioneer, I should also actively contribute my own strength to

this years new years Eve, do not visit the door, do not have a dinner party,

and urge my family to do a good job in health and epidemic prevention. I have to

go to public places and wear masks in a standardized way. The used masks are

thrown into the "hazardous waste" bin according to the regulations. Pay

attention to personal hygiene, often ventilate, wash hands frequently, do not

spit everywhere, and make correct shelter when sneezing and coughing. Study at

home, strengthen exercise and protect wild animals.

2020年的钟声已经敲响，万紫千红的春天已经不远了，我想信在全国人民的共同努力下，我们一定能打赢这场“战役“，迎来我心中美好的2020!

The bell of 2020 has been ringing, and the spring is not far away. I

believe that with the joint efforts of the people of the whole country, we can

win this "battle" and usher in a better 2020 in my heart!

“粉身碎骨浑不怕，要留清白在人间！”

于谦，在我刚入学时便学会了他的一首诗：《石灰吟》。当时也不怎么注意这首诗，在脑海中记住了名字和诗句就草草背下。此时，我只是知道于谦是一位诗人，对这首诗没有一丝丝喜欢，并不能产生共鸣。

到了四年级，看了《明朝那些事儿》，看第一遍时看到了于谦竟是主角。不过我眼睛一目十行，才草草的明白了于谦的功劳。但，诗还是没有使我产生共鸣。

看了第二遍，我开始细细阅读。这时我才明白，于谦是如此伟大！

一个看似软弱的文人，却看淡生死，镇定自若指挥。面对蒙古的军队，他本可以仗着自己文官的身份，将保卫祖国的责任推到他人身上，他却并不这么做。他承担起了保护祖国的责任！

他，指挥着军队，向也先的军队发起猛烈攻击，不仅保卫祖国，还将侵略者赶出中原外！

从这首诗，我看到了于谦的一生。徐有贞的狡诈，朱祁镇的天真，石亨的贪财……他做官清廉，两袖清风。却被“还乡团”的一句话“意欲”。“莫须有”杀死了岳飞，“意欲”杀死了于谦。

他死后，平时懒得出奇的明神宗给他“忠肃”的称号。但于谦所组织的北京保卫战就足以证明。任何帝王都不足以到夸奖于谦的资格。明朝两百年，于谦只有一个。

“粉骨碎身浑不怕，要留清白在人间！”这是于谦对自己人生的真实写照。

Each year, people burn or cut down 143,000 square kilometers (55,000 square

miles) of the forest. People who burn or cut down trees do it for different

reasons: farmers cut down trees in order to get more fertilize lands to grow

rice or vegetables, and use the woods as fuel. Timber companies cut down trees

and turn them into furniture or paper productions. As to goal miners, they

remove the forests to find out whether there are goal underground.

However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the

earth. When we cut down trees, we also push ourselves in to a dangerous

situation. That is the global warming. When you come to think about it, there

are only few ways to solve these negative effects: stop cutting down trees

blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these

solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are

the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy

animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links.

The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly,

cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare

forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas

that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human

beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the

noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new

diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in

the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand

and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations

which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can

prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s

the key to keep the balance of the nature.

Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the

price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may

be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been

based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this

overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And

maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop

cutting down trees blindly and madly.
