window shopping, and then we had lunch at the restaurant. We didnt buy anything

as we didnt have much money, but we still had a wonderful time.

今天上午我和小梅出去了。我们去了市中心。我们去逛街然后到餐馆吃饭。我们没有没东西，因为我们没有多少钱，可是我们过的很开心。

This morning, my father took me to school by bike. I sat at the back of the bike, eating a banana. After I ate it up, I threw the skin onto the street randomly.

今天早晨，爸爸骑车带我去上学。我坐在后车座上，吃着香蕉。吃完后，我顺手将香蕉皮扔到了街上。

No sooner had I done this than I realized that I had done something bad to our environment. And maybe someone would step on it and tumble over. I must pick it up. Thinking of these, I asked father to stop. I jumped off the bike and ran back to pick up the banana skin and threw it into a roadside dustbin. Seeing this, father praised me and I felt very happy.

我马上意识到我的所作所为破坏了我们的环境，或许有人会踩在上面而跌倒，我必须把它拾起来。想到这些，我让爸爸停车。我跳下自行车，跑回去拾起香蕉皮，并扔到了路边的垃圾箱里。看到这些，爸爸表扬了我。我感到很高兴。

In future I will protect the surroundings more consciously and think more about others.

将来我要更自觉地保护周围的环境，更多地为他人着想。

三年的初中生活白驹过隙般的消失了，回忆这三年的点点滴滴，心里满满地全是话，却不知从何说起，有几个让人难忘的场景，至今仍然珍藏。

刚上初一，最要命的就是军训。轻松了一个暑假，突然间被要求练习军姿、方队等等，谁都受不了，大热天的谁愿意顶着毒太阳满操场的走啊、跑啊，要么就是一动不动在阳光下暴晒，我们个个都是汗流浃背、口干舌燥。即使把水桶拿下来也不够我们解渴。就这样忍了五天，准确说是三天，我们就进行了军训比赛，我们班得了第二名。

军训之后是广播操比赛，我们为此做了充分的准备。比赛当天，我们动作协调一致，整齐有序，时而模仿运动员自由泳；时而模仿武林高手挥拳出臂；时而像士兵一样整齐的原地踏步，复杂而不混乱，整齐而不呆板，到位而不夸张，表现的恰到好处，博得了评委的一致赞誉，并夺得了二等奖。

送走了夏日的酷热难耐，迎来了秋天的金风送爽，我们一年一度的运动会也徐徐拉开了帷幕。入场前的方队仪式，我们班的同学整齐站好，跟随举旗和护旗的同学迈开大步向前走。我们一个个精神抖擞、斗志昂扬，稚气未脱的脸上透着阳刚之气，经过主席台前全体同学亮开嗓门，齐声高喊“发展体育，振兴中华”，声音在体育场上空久久回荡。在比赛中，同学们都奋勇争先，，一个个都像拼命三郎似的，为班级争光添彩。最终，我们毫无疑问的夺得第一。

与运动会同时开展的还有跳绳比赛，比赛分为男女组单摇、双摇以及大绳比赛。最让人惊心动魄的就是大绳了，而我刚好也是其中的参与者，因为提前有过练习，所以我并不紧张。随着一声哨响，“啪、啪……”大绳飞速旋转起来，一个、两个，前面的同学一个接一个的顺利跳过去了，马上就要轮到我了。准备，跳！随着大绳从我的头上滑过并打到了光滑的地面，我成功的完成了这次跳绳。我长舒了一口气，但还没怎么休息，又开始了下一轮的跳跃。就这样，到了第三分钟，速度骤然加快，那绳子就像鞭子一样抽向大地，只听得清脆的声响，我们也不知不觉加快了脚步，一个个活像灵巧的鸟儿，看得人眼花缭乱。功夫不负有心人，我们取得了第三名的好成绩。

除了比赛场上杀气浓浓的凝重气氛外，课余时间我们还进行了许多活动，很多都与读书有关。像图书漂流啊，课前演讲啊，目的就是为了让我们在交换图书进行阅读以及复述课文中积累更多的经典语句，不仅益于写作，还能陶冶个人情操。于是，就有了后来的《我的第一本书》新闻发布会。在会上，同学们介绍了自己书中的内容，因为是第一次上台，有很多同学都放不开，老师在旁边耐心地为我们指点，现在再看看，我们都情不自禁的想笑。

在课余读书的促使下，我们同学有了自己的不同的想法，以至于在辩论赛上各抒己见，甚至为了一个小问题争得面红耳赤，谁也不甘示弱，真有种“一山容不下二虎”的感觉。都说“初生牛犊不怕虎”，在这里得到了很好地体现。还有一个方面就是朗读，给我印象最深的一次就是对闻一多先生在李公朴惨死后悲愤地演讲进行的朗读，站在讲台上的十几位同学都描述的绘声绘色，一个个义愤填膺、慷慨激昂，我作为场下观众，不仅被这种气氛所折服，真有种身临其境之感。那一声声质问石破天惊，那一阵阵高呼让我们热血沸腾！

还有许多故事我没有进行讲述，总之是它们串起了三年走过的风风雨雨，充实了我们的学习生活，见证了我们的成长历程，就像海滩上的贝壳，需要我们拾起来，用心去收藏它。

The Mid-Autumn Day

August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is the Mid-Autumn Day. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.

On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.

The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

What a great festival!

中秋节

农历八月十五日是中秋节，在中国它是最重要的传统节日之一。

在那一天，人们通常回家与家人团聚，一家人聚在一起饱餐一顿。最流行的食品是月饼，它们圆圆的就像月亮。

中秋节晚上的月亮特别地圆。人们都在自家的院子里一边赏月一边吃着可口的月饼。这个时候 ，一些老人会讲述许多古老的故事，如月亮上的玉兔，孩子们信以为真，他们真想有一天登上月球看个究竟。

中秋是个美好的节日啊!
