今天是农历五月初五，也是我们国家的传统节日——端午节。在端午节这一天，人们都会举办各种活动——赛龙舟，挂艾草菖蒲，戴五彩线，喝雄黄酒，吃粽子，其中我最喜欢的就是吃粽子了。

一大早，妈妈就着手准备包粽子了，我在旁边给她打下手。首先，妈妈把糯米和花生用水浸泡着。趁着这个时间我和妈妈把粽叶洗干净，把火腿和蜜饯切成丁。一小时后，把糯米和花生里面的水倒掉，然后把火腿和蜜饯一起倒进去，搅拌均匀。一切准备就绪。

我们就开始包粽子了，只见妈妈两只手上下翻转，把一片粽叶折成漏斗状，把刚才拌好的食材放进去，再把斗状尾部的粽叶往回折，盖住米，用细绳缠绕并绑好。就这样，一个粽子就包好了。大约两个小时后，所有的粽子都包完了。最后一道工序就是煮粽子了。妈妈把包好的粽子直接放进锅里煮。我守着灶台，闻着飘散出来的阵阵粽香，我口水都快流出来了。约一小时左右，粽子煮好了，我迫不及待地拿起一个，剥开粽叶，露出白里透红的粽子，白白的糯米包裹着红红的花生豆火腿丁，咬一口，又香又糯!

“粽子香，香厨房。艾叶香，香满堂，桃枝插在大门上，出门一望麦儿黄。这儿端阳，那儿端阳，处处都端阳”。看麦子黄了，端午节又到了，小朋友们，赶快和爸爸妈妈一起包粽子吧!

Long long ago, many families had three or four children. They couldnt look after everyone well, so the children must do everything by themselves. They were too poor to go to school. Some of them liked learning, but they had to go to find jobs to make money. Since they were children, they could do lots of difficult things like their parents. Sometimes they even did better than them!

But now, many families have only one child and they regard their child as a pearl. They did everything for the children. Every day, when the child gets up, their parents help him to make the room clean. They also get breakfast ready for their child. When the child is free, they can sleep or do other things, but they neednt do any housework. So many children cant cook; wash their clothes, some dont even know how to clean the floor. That’s too bad.

In the future, many families will have computers. We can work on the computer instead of going out to do everything. The children also can learn on the computers, so they dont need to move! After a long time, well become fatter and fatter. We wont be able to do anything by ourselves!

So, which way is good for us? We must think more.

My Favourite Festival

My favoruite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. On that day, I can get moon cakes, fruit and many other delicious foods. The moon cakes are round like the moon. They are delicious. They are different inside. On Mid-Autumn Festival I see my elder brother back from work. We get together. We talk and watch the moon! How happy we are!

Spring Festival is my favorite among all the Chinese traditional festival.

The first reason why I love it the most is because I can get lucky money on that

festival. It is the Chinese custom that the old will give children lucky money

on Spring Festival to wish a good luck for the young generation. Moreover,

people everywhere on those days are full of happiness. Quarrel, fight and abuse

are almost disappeared at that time. Meanwhile, my mother will make a big meal

for us to celebrate. Everyone will forget the unhappy thing they meet, instead

remembering to appreciate life to wish a better future. That is my favorite

festival.

时光飞逝，短暂而又愉快的假期生活已经结束了。接下来我所面临的是紧张而又愉快的新学期的教育教学生活。为把新学期的教育教学工作做好，特此作如下教学计划：

一、指导思想。

坚持马列主义，毛泽东思想。高举邓小平理论伟大旗帜，认真学习教育理论，贯彻“三个代表”重要指导思想，积极响应和贯彻素质教育钻研素质教育的实质。“减负”的内在，并以此指导自己的教育教学工作，遵循教育教学规律，紧扣大纲，把我教学层次，不断提高自己的业务水平。

二、基本情况。

这一学期，我继续担任初一(1，2)班的英语教学工作。这两个班级，每班各有学生三十五人左右，但是，基础却不尽人意。初一.1班的学生基础还可以，但是2班的基础却相差很远，学生基础参差不齐，两极分化严重，没有学习的兴趣。因此，教学工作开展的相当困难。

三、教材特点。

初中英语第一册(下)主要介绍了日常生活的交际用语以及一些西方国家的文化背景和风俗习惯，教材通俗易懂，旨在使初一级学生基本能用英语进行简单的交流。

四、教学目标。

力争在期末考试中优秀率打到30%左右，及格率达到60%左右。缩小学生间的差距。为下一学期的英语教育教学工作打下以良好的基础。

五、具体措施。

1、每天背诵课文中的对话。目的：要求学生背诵并默写，培养语感。

2、每天记5个生词，2个常用句子或习语。实施：利用“互测及教师抽查”及时检查，保证效果并坚持下去。

3、认真贯彻晨读制度：规定晨读内容，加强监督，保证晨读效果。

4、坚持日测、周测、月测的形成性评价制度：对英语学习实行量化制度，每日、每周、每月都要给学生检验自己努力成果的机会，让进步的同学体会到成就感，让落后的同学找出差距，感受压力。由此在班里形成浓厚的学习氛围，培养学生健康向上的人格和竞争意识。

5、对后进生进行专门辅导，布置单独的作业，让他们在小进步、小转变中体味学习的快乐，树立学习的自信，尽快成长起来。

6、关注学生的情感，营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。

7、实施"任务型"的教学途径，培养学生综合语言运用能力。

8、在教学中根据目标并结合教学内容，创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动，吸引和组织他们积极参与。学生通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式，学习和使用英语，完成学习任务。

9、加强对学生学习策略的指导，为他们终身学习奠定基础。

10、认真钻研教材，备好，上好每一节课，向45分钟要质量。

总之，新的学期已经开始了，我要以上一学期的基础为起点，树立信心，全身心的投入到新学期的教育教学工作中去。争取在新的一年里，把教育教学工作推向一新的层次。

The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. For the people, they may lack of self-control, they are easily got distracted by other things, thus its important for them to do the things according to the list. Dont do other things unless you have finish your job. Last but not least, wake up earlier in the morning. Youll find you have more time to do the things you want.

In a word, we should have a plan about the things we are going to do. Only in this way we can use time effectively.

When the traditional festival comes, everybody is excited about it, because

they will have holiday to relax. The meaning of these festivals is remembered by

the old generation all the time, while some young people do not know. So when we

enjoy the holiday, we need to know more about the traditional culture.

story about this big day. When I was very small, I have watched many TV series

我最喜欢过年，每到过年，家里都要买许多菜和好吃的零食，小孩要穿新衣服，门上贴倒福字，门两边贴上春联，窗上贴上美丽的窗花，把家里打扫得干干净净的，请上所有的亲威一起吃团圆饭。

晚上，妈妈做了一大桌好菜，有甲鱼、鸡鸭、年糕、大虾、螃蟹……好酒好肉，应有尽有。8点，一家人坐在电视机边，看春节联欢晚会，一家人其乐融融，幸福满满。让我最开心的就是，我有压岁钱，我可以买东西吃。12点，我们出去放鞭炮，爸爸点火，我捂着耳朵看，真是又漂亮，又开心。

大年三十我们一家吃了年夜饭，年夜饭又香又丰盛，比平时的饭菜丰盛多了!大年初一一大早我们吃完了饺子，就开车来到了“南海观音寺”我一进大门就看到观音泉旁边的水池上刻着“学业”财运”“事业”“送子”这几个词。我不知道这是干什么的，妈妈告诉我摸摸“学业”这个词就可以学业有进步!我肯定要摸一摸呀!然后我们进去寺庙里面，看到了很多像神仙的佛像，我们把点燃的香插在香炉里，然后我们一家人都拜了各位神仙，希望新的一年里,学习进步的心愿能如我所愿!

一回到家，妈妈让我和妹妹换上花衣服跟邻居家拜年，我们说“叔叔阿姨新年快乐!”阿姨立马就从口袋里拿出了两个大红包给了我们。我和妹妹说“谢谢阿姨”!

In my point of view, I am inclined to favor the former though we should be careful when making friends online. To put it in a nutshell, it is wise to make friends online.

春节是我国的传统节日，是一年中最为重要的节日。一般从腊月初八就开始有了新年的气氛，直至正月十五才算结束。在中国千百年的历史发展中，还有一些比较固定的风俗习惯流传至今。腊月初八正是腊八节，这天人们会熬腊八粥，腌腊八蒜，现今腊八蒜只等除夕当天和饺子一起吃，那么在古代腊八蒜有什么作用呢?

原来，古人会在腊八节这天把一年的收支算出来，其中包括外欠和外债，中国人总讲个面子，不能杀到人家家里大喊“欠债还钱!”于是债主就会泡一些腊八蒜送人，欠债的人收到自然心照不宣。古人把腊八蒜当做催债的提示，也是难得的苦心。

腊八节后紧接着小年。小年夜是汉族的传统节日，即汉族的祀灶日。这个节日在各地有着不同的日期：在北方多数地区是腊月二十三，有少数地区是除夕;在一些南方地区是腊月二十四;江浙泸地区把腊月二十四和除夕都称为小年夜;南京地区是正月十五;云南部分地区是正月十六。人们把这一天称作“小年”，意味着一年的结束。

民间有个传说：灶王爷上天专告人间善恶，一旦哪一家被告有恶行，大罪要减寿三百天，小罪要减寿一百天。在送灶的时候，人们在灶王像前供放糖果、清水、料豆、秣草，其中后三种是为灶王升天的坐骑备料。为了让灶王“上天言好事，回宫降吉祥”，人们使尽浑身解数来对付他：有的用麻糖敬它，好把灶王爷的牙齿粘住，让灶王不能乱说话;有的用酒涂抹灶门，这叫“醉司令”，醉得灶王不能乱说话。灶王受到人们的特殊招待，“吃了人家的嘴软”，当然就不好讲坏话了。

接下来，一连几天我们都要筹备年货，直至除夕当天。

除夕这天家家户户都要贴对联、放鞭炮，还要守岁。守岁俗称“熬年”，要从吃年夜饭开始，这顿年夜饭从掌灯时分入席，要慢慢地吃。有的人家要一直吃到深夜;还有的人家不论是大人还是小孩，整宿都不可入眠，至少也要等到第二天凌晨一点才行，即使睡觉也不能脱去衣服。

再过半个月，我们迎来了春节的又一个高潮——元宵节。元宵节是中国汉族和部分兄弟民族的传统节日之一，在两千多年前的秦朝就有了。这些节日有趣的习俗和来历让我们在快乐中感受到了中国的传统文化，更是传承了这些传统文化，一代又一代……
