酒足饭饱之后，爷爷奶奶纷纷给孩子们递上了红包。接过那红通通的压岁包，4岁的小弟弟开心地问奶奶：“奶奶，压岁钱外面为什么要包一张纸?拆开来多麻烦啊!”奶奶摸着他的头，笑嘻嘻地说：“从前有一只怪兽叫祟，它老是来害小孩，但它却怕见着红色，所以就用红包来压祟，后来就叫压岁包。”“真是不可思议，发个红包也有那么多讲究。”听了奶奶的话，我俩恍然大悟。这时，只听一旁的妹妹兴高采烈地说道：“过年真开心，不仅有这么多好吃的，有红包拿，而且还可以放鞭炮和烟花呢!要是天天都过年才好呢!”她的话惹得全家人哄堂大笑。

“砰……啪……”突然，屋外响起了鞭炮声，我拉着弟弟妹妹的手直接往外奔!“姐姐，快看哪!”我连忙抬头一看，一连串一连串的火花，接二连三地在天空炸开，把天空照得如同白昼，不一会儿，它们又落下来，像下金花银雨，使人眼花缭乱。望着空中绚丽的礼花，我觉得闪烁在空中的不仅是火花，更是象征着幸福生活的花。

那个除夕夜，每个人的脸上都是笑呵呵的。

Festival is a folk Festival.In the past,In the past, the Qingming Festival was

called "Arbor Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any

underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family

will set out offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a

familys home altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland

food. One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area,

the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered

by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the

honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the

spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and

spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good

harvests and more children.
