The Chinese New Year has a great history. In our past, people lived in an agricultural society and worked all year long. They only took a break after the harvest and before the planting of seeds. This happens to coincide with the beginning of the lunar New Year.

The Chinese New Year is very similar to the Western one, rich in traditions, folklores and rituals. It has been said that it is a combination of the Western Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. This is hardly an exaggeration!

The origin of the Chinese New Year itself is centuries old - in fact, too old to actually be traced. It is popularly recognized as the Spring Festival and celebrations last 15 days.

Preparations tend to begin a month before the date of the Chinese New Year (similar to a Western Christmas). During this time people start buying presents, decoration materials, food and clothing. A huge clean-up gets underway days before the New Year, when Chinese houses are cleaned from top to bottom. This ritual is supposed to sweep away all traces of bad luck. The end of the New Year is marked by the Festival of Lanterns, which is a celebration with singing, dancing and lantern shows.

At the Festival, all traditions are honored. The predominant colors are red and gold. "Good Wish" banners are hung from the ceilings and walls. The "God of Fortune" is there to give Hong Baos. Lion dancers perform on stage continuously. Visitors take home plants and flowers symbolizing good luck. An array of New Years specialty food is available in the Food Market. 在一个瓜果飘香的秋季，我们告别了母校，迎来了初中的生活。而初中生活的第一课就是军训。

军训这一课是磨炼意志和思想的一课，从站军姿到齐步走，跑步走，都给了我们人生的启示和感想。

后来我们又学习了稍息立正，停止间转法，齐步走，跑步走……5天我们学习了很多东西，似乎我们真的成了一名既能做好训练，又能守纪律的军人。时间如流水般流去，五天的军训转眼就成了回忆。我们要和与我们一起训练的教官分别了，心里充满了不舍。军训很辛苦，辛苦得有收获，辛苦得有意义，辛苦得让人难忘。难忘我们军训时的挥汗如雨，难忘训练时严厉的教官和我们开玩笑时的样子，难忘在最后一天会操时我们的卖力表演，最后依依不舍的分别。

可是我们终于成功的完成了5天的军训，过的快乐而又充实。军训告诉我们：世上无难事，只怕有心人，只要认真对待困难，我们就永远不会倒下。

我出生在乡村，是个天真纯朴的女孩子。大城市的繁华容貌，无与伦比，但吸引我的却是在常人看来普普通通的乡村，乡村的美，别有一番风味。

乡村的春天是最美丽的，各种花儿含苞待放，像个个羞涩的小姑娘;小草从土里探出头来，好奇地望着这个多彩的世界;树木抽出了嫩绿的枝条;金黄的油菜花披上了一层金色的地毯，把田野打扮得格外美丽，引来了一只只蝴蝶和蜜蜂，瞧，那几个孩子正在捉蝴碟呢，正准备扑上去，蝴碟飞进了油菜地，一下子没影了，正可谓：“儿童急走追黄碟，飞入菜花无处寻。”;一群一群的小鸭子也来凑热闹，在水中自由自在地游来游去，嬉戏着。

7回老家的路上

今天，我爸爸决定带我们回老家看看。从胜采到淄博高青要经过两个小时，怎么打发这段美好时光呢？我左思右想，突然想到了一个好主意，老师不是留了一个写日记的作业。我就用回老家的路上作一个题目吧!我对我自己的选择感觉不错。

马路两旁的麦苗，绿油油的，嫩嫩的，非常柔软，我迫不及待地想躺在柔软的麦苗上。农民伯伯开始为麦苗浇水施肥，人们把化肥装在收子里，一把一把地撒在麦苗上，人们把又粗又长管子抬到田里，把抽水机和管子通起来，这样水就可以缓缓地留到田里。麦苗大口大口地喝水、吃着，一连吃喝了一上午。一阵微风吹来，麦苗向农民伯伯点头微笑。农民伯伯盼望麦苗快快生长，秋后可以大丰收。我陶醉在人群中，我仿佛也在人群中和他们一起干农活，诗中有一句话说：春种一粒粟，秋收万颗子吗!春天种下一粒种子，秋天才能收获到更多的果实。我们就像一粒种子，正在慢慢的生长，如果我们好好学习，长大以后就会成为一棵粗壮的大树。成为我国的栋梁之才!

我的家乡是美丽的天府花园水城——金堂。坐落在成都平原东北部，千里沱江之首。距离成都市区36公里。

家乡的桥多。一座连着一座，有毗河大桥、北河大桥、工农大桥、韩滩大桥、平安桥、中河大桥、三星大桥，还有许多不知名的小桥……

家乡的河多。有北河、中河、毗河，三条大河贯穿整个县城，似三条玉带穿城而过，在韩滩大桥下游汇聚成了一条美丽的沱江。

家乡的水多。县城由三条大河围在中央，好像是一个巨大的绿色岛屿，周围全都是清悠悠的河水。沿河两岸垂柳依依、绿草如茵、繁花似锦、鸟语花香，令人心情舒畅！

家乡的物产丰富。是着名的柑桔水果之乡，也是苹果、桃子、李子、梨子、核桃、西瓜等四季水果的产区，又是绿色无公害蔬菜的生产基地。

家乡的风景迷人，还有许许多多的名胜古迹。有着名的云顶石城、炮台山、舒家湾天主教堂、沱江小三峡等……。云顶石城，那陡峭的石梯，好像一直向天上延伸着，让你走也走不完；那山顶寺庙里的罗汉，家乡每年的五一节，都要举行水上游乐节或是音乐烟花节，最让人难忘的是2008年五一节的第二届音乐烟花。

当时，金沙公园两岩人山人海。各种千姿百态，变化莫测的烟花造型，欢快悠扬的音乐，引来观众一阵阵的喝彩声和欢呼声。有的烟花像烟笼，有的像瀑布，有的像鸭子，还有的像天女散花……美丽壮观的烟花倒映在河中，形成一幅美丽的图画。

华山素有自古华山一条路，奇险天下第一山的美称。我们在险峻的华山上艰难的爬着，一边爬一边欣赏着著名的华山。

我见识过怪石嶙峋的张家界，浏览过风景秀美的桂林山，但却从来没有看到过西安这一带的山。西安的华山真高啊，一座座山拔地而起，直冲云霄，从山脚往山上看，根本就看不到头；西安的华山真奇啊，像一朵盛开的莲花，像一匹奔腾的骏马，又像一位羞涩的少女，真是奇峰罗列，姿态万千；西安的华山真陡啊，虽然每一条路的两旁都修筑了铁链和栏杆，但是一个不小心还是有可能会栽倒下去。行至苍龙岭，路与名字相对应是修建在陡峭、窄小的山尖上，用工具凿出的路，它酷似一条神气的苍龙停在山岭上，故而得名苍龙岭，但我在缆车上远远望去，更想一把巨斧劈开一条小缝的痕迹。

走上苍龙岭，我的脚有点发颤，手也不由自主的握住路旁的铁链，连走上一级台阶都要花上三四秒的时间，更不要提向后面张望一下，甚至连身旁那云雾缭绕的美丽景色都不敢再多看一眼。及至走完苍龙岭，我长舒了一口气，转身向身后望去，才发现原来苍龙岭是那么的美丽迷人：远处的苍龙岭完全被云雾给淹没了，也正因为这样，前端的苍龙就更像是一架从天而降的天梯。更奇特的是远处的一些山峰大半个身体被云雾吞噬了，只留下了山尖，这就更让人有种似乎走进了仙境，看到了漂浮在云雾上空的仙岛的错觉，这让我想起了寇准诗中句子举手红日近，回首白云低。

其实，华山不仅风景迷人，而且还产生了许多传说，其中最有名的便是沉香劈山救母。传说玉皇大帝的女儿三圣母因爱慕凡间书生刘彦昌的才华，私结连理。后被玉皇大帝发现，压在西风巨石下。三圣母石下产子，取名沉香。长大后经仙石指点，执神斧劈开巨石，母子团圆。而西风巨石上与下形成的空洞也命名为斧劈石。

我家的房子。我家以前是住在又小又矮的砖房里，在下雨的时候，常常因为屋顶的瓦不结实而漏雨。在雨天，我和妹妹把盆子一个个的放在地上来接雨水。但是，盆子再多也没有雨水多。每次下完雨后，我家总是积了一尺多深的水，母亲因为长期生活在这种环境中，患了很严重的风湿病。而现在，我家住上了又大又舒适的楼房，母亲的风湿病也好了很多，我们再也不用为下雨漏水而发愁了。

我家的电视机。在以前，只要谁家买了台黑白电视机，谁家就会成为大家议论的焦点。记得有一次，村子里的一户人家娶媳妇儿，全村的人都去了。不是因为看热闹，而是去看电视机。人们都围绕着电视机，有几个见过“世面”的人在为大家解说，“这个电视机不仅可以听曲儿，还可以看戏!”许多的人都惊叹不已，同时又很羡慕那家人。爷爷当时也在场，他回家后想了很久，终于决定把存的XX元拿出来，交给母亲，说：“香，这钱你拿去，给咱家也买台电视机!”母亲听后，很犹豫，说：“爸，这可是您辛辛苦苦存了好久才有的钱，怎么能。。。。。。”“别说了!我讲去买就去买!”爷爷说完，头也不回的转身走了。母亲看着手中的钱，又看着爷爷渐渐模糊的背影，默默的流泪。第二天，母亲买来了一台黑白电视机，还是某名牌的。我绕着电视机看了看，摸了摸，想着今晚要抱着它睡觉，谁也枪不走。爷爷笑呵呵的坐在旁边，满意的点了点头。那天，我家成了全村议论的焦点。而现在，村子里每家每户都有了电视机，有彩屏的，有液晶的，有防辐射的，防紫外线的。。。。。。应有尽有，再也没有因为一台电视机而出名的事发生了。我家也换了一台大彩电，虽然爷爷已去世了，但我还记得我家买第一台电视机时，爷爷那骄傲的表情。

改革开放以来，春风吹醒了大地，我家的变化是几天几夜，也说不完的。祖国的变化更是几年也讲不完。但是，改革开放使中国走向了世界，使中国的人民走进了小康。60年的沧桑，60年的努力，我们的祖国已经雄壮起来了，我们中国人也已经庞大起来了!

端午节来喽!我左盼右盼终于盼来了五月五日，这一天来的可真迟啊!我等它等的都快急死了。你问我为什么这么盼端午?我的答案很简单，因为端午节这一天有得吃有得玩呀!还有一个原因，就是一到端午我们就要放假了!

五月五，端阳节，家家户户包粽子，吃粽子。而我最喜欢的是吃粽子了!我偷偷告诉你我吃粽子一次能吃好几个呢!你可千万别说我光会吃不会做哦!我也会包粽子：在包粽子前，现将包粽子必备的糯米置于水中泡上一段时间。把采来的箬竹叶放置于水中洗干净，然后把箬竹叶卷成圆锥状，将糯米放入其中。卷好，用线将粽子捆起来便做好了!如果在粽子里加入几颗蜜枣，那么粽子大味道就会更好了!

端午节的时候人们还会佩香囊、悬艾草菖蒲。不过，赛龙舟在我们这里并不常见，我们喜欢在家门口悬艾草菖蒲。用银杏叶与艾草泡水洗澡。父母还会在孩子的耳朵里，鼻子里点上几滴雄黄酒。在做完这些之后，父母会在孩子的手上扣绒，这些都是人们用来祈祷来年平平安安，健健康康的方法。

说到端午节，我们不禁想到屈原，这个节日就是因为他而得来的：此说最早出自南朝梁代吴均的《续其谐记》和南朝宗懔《荆楚岁时记》。据说，屈原投汨罗江后，当地百姓闻讯马上划船捞救，一直行至洞庭湖，始终不见屈原的尸体。那时，恰逢雨天，湖面上的小舟一起汇集在岸边的亭子旁。当人们得知是为了打捞贤臣屈大夫时，再次冒雨出动，争相划进茫茫的洞庭湖。为了寄托哀思，人们荡舟江河之上，此后才逐渐发展成为龙舟竞赛。百姓们又怕江河里的鱼吃掉他的身体，就纷纷回家拿来米团投入江中，以免鱼虾糟蹋屈原的尸体，后来就成了吃粽子的习俗。看来，端午节吃粽子、赛龙舟与纪念屈原相关。

对了，刚刚说完了悬艾草菖蒲，还没说挂香囊呢!戴香包颇有讲究。老年人为了防病健身，一般喜欢戴梅花、菊花、桃子、苹果、荷花、娃娃骑鱼、娃娃抱公鸡、双莲并蒂等形状的，象征着鸟语花香，万事如意，夫妻恩爱，家庭和睦。小孩喜欢的是飞禽走兽类的，如虎、豹子;猴子上竿、斗鸡赶兔等。青年人戴香包最讲究，如果是热恋中的情人，那多情的姑娘很早就要精心制作一二枚别致的香包，赶在节前送给自己的情郎。小伙子戴着心上人送给的香包，自然要引起周围男女的评论，直夸小伙的对象心灵手巧。而且挂香囊对身体也有好处哦!香包内装的香料通常是用苞白术、白芷等植物的根茎碾碎混合均匀制成的。以往由于医药不发达，这些有有杀菌作用的香包被带在孩子们的身上，起到避邪正气、防治蚊虫和不祥之物骚扰的作用。现代的香包中填充用的香药成分有所突破：薰衣草、马鞭草、迷迭香、干花都可以用来做香包。

看完了上边，我确信你和我一样喜欢端午节。因为它又好玩又有好吃的。不过，韩国居然和我们争端午节，你说这有什么理由?不过，我们的确没有韩国重视这个节日，所以我们一定要重视我们国家的传统节日!
