Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

Good morning,everyone! I`m very happy to have this chance to give my

My topic today is “ to Be a Confident Person.”

What is confidence? Confidence is to trust yourself. Confidence is to look

upon yourself. It is not to indulge in self-admiration. It is not to get

extremely arrogant. It is not to get dizzy with success or to be opinionated. It

is just to inspire yourself ahead of a quality of mind, in high spirit, full of

energy. It is to meet the challenges of life in a positive mood. It is to

overcome your inferiority, farewell, to get rid of the trouble of a a ready-made

Remember, I have just entered junior high school. In the face of the

With the rapid development of the technology，many inventions have

appeared.As a result，with the help of these inventions，our life has changed a

lot.For example，television sets.TV is my “best friend”.Every time when I leave

school and go back home，I will turn on the TV at once.I like the programme

进入学校就读已经有两年了。本校优点很多，但是也有一点点小瑕疵。为了更好地办好学校，让学生能够在这里更好地学习和生活，我提几点建议。

1、学校洗水池中的水龙头总是关不紧，希望得到校方的重视，及时维修解决。从资源的角度来说，水是人类无法离开的稀有资源，而全球的水资源正在慢慢流失，我们都有义务节约用水。考虑到经济角度，关不紧的水龙头，流失的正是金钱。希望校方能够重视，请师傅进行修理，让水龙头不再滴水，并恢复正常的洗手功能。

2、校园内还存在很多不文明的事。如地面打扫干净之后，一转身，背后又有同学扔下了纸屑等垃圾，给学校保洁阿姨打扫卫生，以及同学的值周造成了负担。学校领导应该重视这些问题，加强管理，给学生加大压力，同时举办主题演讲等宣传活动，引导学生文明生活。

3、在平时的交流过程当中，众多同学反应学习压力过大，没有适当的副课。从太阳升起到落下，上课下课几乎都坐在班里，没有自由活动的时间，也就不能放松心情。所以，我建议学校增加社团活动，开设各种兴趣班进学校，让同学们不仅能够收获副课以外的其他知识，而且能够让同学放松心态，改变一些同学的性格。比如有些性格易冲动的同学，可以练习弹吉他，从吉他美妙的和弦中找到属于自己的宁静，找到自己的快乐。如一些性格胆怯的同学应该去体验散打，散打中的前踢上勾拳，和一系列的组合拳，还有连贯摔，不但可以让大家找到自信，还可以让大家学到一些护身技能。

以上是我向学校提的几条建议，希望得到学校重视。

Today, I would like to recommend to you a picture book of traditional

Chinese festivals, Spring Festival.

Spring Festival is the most grand, the most lively and the most important

ancient traditional festival in China. Every Spring Festival, we paste couplets,

red window decorations, and "pour" blessing. But why should the word "Fu" be

pasted upside down? It turns out that the word "Dao" and "Dao" are homophonic,

and vice versa is Fu "Dao". Its like "Fu" is home.

During the Spring Festival, we should not only paste couplets, red window

decorations and "pour" happiness, but also set off firecrackers and fireworks,

and wear red clothes. After reading this book, I realized that there was a

monster called Nian in ancient China. It went to the village to eat cattle,

sheep, chickens, pigs and people every year. Until one year, an old grandfather

who came to the village to beg lived in his wifes house when the villagers went

to drive away evil spirits and help children celebrate the new year safely. I

wish the children good health, good luck and peace in the new year. There is

also an old legend. This legend has something to do with a little demon called

"Sui". You will know after reading this book.

In a word, after reading this book, I gained a lot and also felt the spirit

of Chinese traditional culture. So I want to share with you, hope you will like

so next time, you will practice just as much, still want it just as much,

smile. a positive attitude might just be the one thing that you need to

Every child needs his parents when they meet trouble. It is natural for

them to find protection. My parents protect me all the time. I can feel their

love. But as I grow up, I want to solve problem by myself. When I solve the

problem, I feel so proud of myself, and it is the moment I realize that I have

Today is Saturday. I was so happy that my grandparents would come to visit

us, because they haven’t seen us for a long time, so they carried some local

food. I was so excited to eat my grandma’s food. She always knew my favorite
