还依稀记得2001年7月13日的那天，中国申奥成功，无数中国人为之欢呼雀跃，到处是一片欢乐的海洋，那时的我还只是个不懂事 的幼儿园孩童，却也懵懵懂懂地和家人一起沉浸在了欢乐之中。随着时光的飞逝，离开08奥运的时间越来越近，我也已经渐渐长大，开 始真正地懂得了申奥成功对一个中国人而言无比的骄傲与自豪。

在奥运赛场上，我们常常为运动员们在台上的出色表现折服、喝彩，可又有多少人知道在成功的背后，他们曾经付出了多少汗水甚 至泪水!我想，用“坚持不懈”这个词语来形容运动员们体现的奥运精神最为恰当。这也不禁让我打开记忆的匣门，联想起自己5岁时 学溜冰时的情景……

那是一个阳光明媚的早晨，妈妈带着我来到了少年宫学溜冰。那是我第一次溜冰，年龄小加上非常紧张，结果导致动作僵硬，样子 也十分滑稽。在妈妈的帮助下，我战战兢兢地开始了溜冰练习。刚开始的时候，我小心翼翼地慢慢向前蹭，所以没有跌倒。这下子我的 胆子大了起来，也有些自以为是了。我松开了紧抓妈妈的手，开始自顾自地溜了起来。因为基础不踏实，我刚滑了两步就重重的摔在了 地上。记得那时的我痛得哇哇乱哭，并发誓再也不学溜冰了。是妈妈在一边轻声地安慰我，抚摸着我的伤口，语重心长地说：“菲菲， 做人要勇敢坚强，做事就得坚持不懈。哪个人溜冰不摔跤啊?不都爬起来了吗?有人说过：‘如果你去问一个善于溜冰的人如何取得成 功，他会告诉你，跌倒了，爬起来，这就是成功!’乖宝宝，失败是成功之母呀!”那时我还小，并没有完全听懂妈妈的话。但还是似 懂非懂地点了点头，眼中含着泪水爬起来重新开始了训练。

就这样，在一次次的爬起跌倒再爬起后，现在我的溜冰技术已经相当娴熟，有时看着那双已经穿不下的小小的溜冰鞋，我还是会情 不自禁地想起妈妈的话，是呀，做任何事都离不开一颗坚持不懈的心，溜冰也一样!

Recently, “clearyour plate” campaign is more and more popular in society, which advocates saving against wasting. The campaign draws our attention to wasting on campus.Some students are noticed to throw away a lot of food in the canteen. As is often the case, some lights are still on with nobody in classrooms. What’s more, many a student spends much money buying unnecessary items. As far as Iam concerned, it’s high time that we fought against wasting. Here’re my suggestions. Firstly, I think our school should carry out various activities to arouse students’ awareness of saving. Secondly, relevant rules and regulations are supposed to be made to punish those who waste things. Most importantly, we should form the habit of saving from now. from all around the world felt pity for the loss of this great talent. They laid

England is the best place I’ve ever been. Everything is so beautiful. I

spent about one and a half days on the plane. When I arrived at Heathrow Airport

in London, it was evening and the GREat trip was starting. there were many

places I v is ited in London, like Big Ben, Westminster, the Tower of

London…….those are very famous.

Most of the time in the afternoon, my parents and I sat and walked in the

park. Have you seen“Notting Hill”before? the story in the movie happens in

London. the Brit is h museum, Musee de Louver and the Metropolitan Museum of art

are the three largest museums in the world. I’ve v is ited two of them. then we

left London for Cambridge, Windsor Castle, York and Stonehenge. they were

excellent . Every small town has a h is tory of one or two thousand years. there

was an art festival called“Tutto”in Edinburgh, and there were many street

players who their lives to the shows. then we went to northern Scotland. It was

dangerous! then we went back to London, and sat in the park, and the fat geese

were so cute. That journey was the nicest memory of my life. I won’t forget

I think everyone likes weekend. Because it’s time for relax and fun. Now I

want to talk about my weekend.

I often spend Saturday for fun. Such as playing basketball with my friends,

watching movies and TV shows, having a trip with family and so on. And I always

spend Sunday for homework and have some rest. Sometimes I visit my grandparents

轻轻踏进敬老院的门口，全身瞬间被安静束缚。庭院里到处都是绿色，缕缕阳光透过嫩绿的叶子洒在大地上，风轻轻拂过，留下夏天的足迹。整个院子只听到知了唱响夏天的声音，显得格外幽静。

走到正厅，自己又背负了一种名叫责任的东西。随着电梯的升高，自己的内心又紧张起来，仔细想想，这还是我第一次做义工呢。推开厨房的门，面粉的味道随之迎面而来。今天的主题就是——包饺子，想想敬老院的老人们，吃着我们包的饺子，脸上会不会有笑容呢?

妈妈把我带到一个年纪稍微有点大的奶奶面前，告诉我，这个奶奶几年前就开始做义工了，说到这里我不禁打心底里佩服她，奶奶冲我友好的笑笑，就又忙手中的事了。说实话，我包饺子其实不怎么样，会包是会包，但包的完全不好看。奶奶的手，从我坐下来时就没停下过。我刚包完一个，奶奶已经包完一打了，而且我包的水饺就像无精打采的瘦将军，奶奶的就像肚皮圆滚的胖将军，和我的形成完全对比，这让我有点难为情了。但，熟能生巧嘛，学着奶奶的样子，逐渐好了起来。

还有一个小男孩，胖胖的，圆嘟嘟的很可爱，这么小，就已经干义工好多年了，几乎每个星期都来敬老院参加公益活动。还有一些叔叔阿姨，他们的名字或许我不知道，但我知道他们是这个社会中众多爱心公益人士的一部分。

我们每一个人做公益，不是为了任何人，是为了发自内心的那份本真，是“人之初，性本善”那份善良的释放，我们不求任何回报，我们所求的，是受到我们感染的人、认可我们的人，都走进我们的行列，和我们共同释放那一份发自本真的善良，并将这份善良永远的传递下去，希望多年以后人们走在干净的大街上，呼吸着新鲜的空气，人与人之间充满着友善和温馨，这才是善德志愿者的使命和意义，只要人人都献出一点爱，世界将变成美好的人间，公益路上，共同前进。

这只是我第一次做义工，我却收获了很多。这不只是奉献爱心，还能增添我们的人生旅程。生活因奉献而美丽。

Cell phones have brought a whole new meaning to the term multitasking.

the grocery store picking up some necessary items. You could never have had a

three-way business conference while you were fixing dinner or been able to deal

with a business client from home while caring for a sick child. Cell phones have

enabled us to do various tasks all at the same time.

Cell phones have also enabled families to keep in closer touch with each

other. Children can contact you if they have missed their ride form soccer

practice and your spouse can call while he is stuck in traffic to let you know

that he is going to be late for supper. Teenagers are able to call to ask

permission to go somewhere, and with GPS features that are now available on some

cell phones, you are able to check to make sure that they are where they are

suppose to be.

Many of these advantages we do not even notice. Have you ever arrived at

the grocery store and realized that you have forgotten your grocery list? The

first thing you would probably do is to call home and have one of your children

read the list off to you. In the same situation in past years, you may have

forgotten things or have had to drive all the way back home to get it. If your

car breaks down, you automatically call for help instead of having to walk to

find a pay phone. Cell phones have certainly made our lives much more

convenient.

Cell phones have also changed the way that people interact with each other.

When we call someone, we are actually calling the person and not a place. This

enables us to be more spontaneous when making plans as you rarely get a busy

signal and unlike a land line telephone, someone is always home. Cell phones

also enable us to call if we are going to be late for an appointment, although

this has led to cell phone users running late more often than those who do not

have cell phones. These users seem to have adopted the attitude that appointment

times are not concrete and use their cell phones to renegotiate their arrival

time.

One of the greatest disadvantages of the cellular phone is the fact that we

do not talk to strangers when traveling anymore. In the past, several people

waiting for a bus would engage in a conversation while they were waiting. People

who traveled the same routes every day might develop friendships along the way.

This situation does not happen anymore. Today when people are waiting for a bus,

they just pull out their cell phones and speak with old friends, missing out on

我选择了一条人比较多的马路边上。我做了两个标志，一个是红色的亭，一个是绿色的行，什么意思呢?绿色的是人可以走，红色的是车可以走。刚刚开始我有点紧张，毕竟是第一次。眼看还有五秒就要到红灯了，可是有一位慌慌张张的叔叔想冲过去。我毫不犹豫的举起了红色的停，拦下了叔叔。叔叔对我说：“小妹妹，你看现在没有车了，你就放我过去吧!”我严肃地对叔叔说：“虽然现在没有车，但突然来了一辆车，怎么办?如果有得车开的太快，刹车没有刹住怎么办?”说着说着，叔叔便脸红的走回了人群中，静静的等待着我手中绿色的行。到了绿灯，我吹响了口哨，人们便走了过去过了一分钟。马上就要红灯了，可又有一位阿姨想冲过去，因为他看到了对面超市在打折，买上200元就送两个鸡蛋，我再一次大步流星地冲了过去，毫不犹豫的举起了我手中的停。阿姨说：“现在没有车了，你就让我过去吧，鸡蛋快没了，快点!快点!”阿姨急得直跺脚，眼睛也一直盯着对面的超市，生怕鸡蛋送完了。我对阿姨说：“您就不能为了一两个鸡蛋就白白浪费了，能活几十年的寿命啊!”其他等待过马路的人也说：“是呀是呀，这位小妹妹说的对，我们的生命只有一条，要好好爱护它才对，不能因为两三块钱的鸡蛋就不要命了呀!”阿姨听了大家的话，才羞涩地退回人群中，看着大家远去的身影，我才放心了。
