即使不从文化传承、文化认同的高度，或成为专业书法家方面的要求，让孩子发现一个不一样的自己，书法技艺也值得孩子一生拥有。书法，让孩子发现一个儒雅的自己。中国书法抽象表现了天地万象之形，融入了古今圣贤之理，寓理于形、形质俱佳。学习书法，可以提升艺术审美能力，养成温文尔雅气质，一生受用不尽。书法，让孩子发现一个渊博的自己。清代书法家杨守敬认为，“一要学富，胸罗万千，书卷之气，自然益于行间。”别的不说，仅以汉字演变史论，习书者对汉字的了解就比别人要丰富。书法，让孩子发现一个恬静的自己。许多父母都曾抱怨自己的孩子有贪玩、多动、注意力不集中等毛病。书法练习，讲究心到、眼到、手到，注意力高度集中，心不在焉、粗枝大叶、草草了事是写不好字的。书法练习，有助改善孩子多动的习惯。

青少年书法教育之大敌是功利主义，许多人要么坚持“无用论”——互联网时代谁还用毛笔写字，如果不能成为书法家，卖字能挣钱，花那么多时间练书法多划不来。以“有用”“无用”二元对立论看世界，很多东西都是“无用”的，你小时候唱过的儿歌、初中背的古诗词、高中做的实验、大学念的高数……今天用到了吗?“无用”就不必学了吗?要么为“有用论”折腰——孩子学习书法，就是要参加各种比赛，获得名次。有孩子为了书法比赛，就一直练几个字，练得有模有样，要是换个内容，立马露馅。练书法，尤须袪除功利心，秉持一颗“板凳要坐十年冷”的平常心。

毋庸讳言，一些孩子视书法为畏途，与书法教学不无关系。经师易得，人师难求，一些半路出家的书法教师，拘泥于书法教学传统，不了解小孩子心理，结果把书法教学弄得面目可憎，把孩子刚刚燃起的书法兴趣火苗一点点地浇灭。譬如，对入门书体的要求，传统书法教授奉楷体为圭臬，非楷皆为旁门左道。事实上，篆书、隶书、行书为什么就不行呢?兴趣，才是孩子学习书法的头等大事，有兴趣就好办了，楷书基础也可以慢慢打，要是没了兴趣，一切都无从谈起。再如，八九岁的孩子，注意力集中时间不会超过20分钟，你硬是逼着小孩子练足40分钟，他们怎不心生厌烦?

培养孩子兴趣，又不要有太高期望值，给太多压力，让孩子快乐地学习书法，书法的效用就会不断在孩子身上呈现。

正月初三，阳光明媚。爸爸带着我们一起去北门广场观看春节文艺演出。

一到那里，演出已经开始了。我们的脚底像装了马达似的跑向拥挤的人群，坐在座位上全神贯注地看了起来。节目可精彩了，有悠扬的歌声，令人陶醉其中，有优美的舞姿，令人赞不绝口，有滑稽有趣的小品，令人捧腹大笑，还有一群群活泼可爱的小朋友表演的惟妙惟肖，台下鼓起了一阵阵热烈的掌声。

时间就像小马车一样“笃笃笃”地开过去，春节文艺演出结束了。我们就去广场的对面玩沙子了，那里有很多小朋友，他们有的用铲子，有的用罐子，还有的用推车，玩得可开心了。
