Chinas traditional education methods are ideally suited to a political culture that requires citizens to submit blindly to authority. By encouraging students to question their teachers and regard them as equals (even official literature now talks of fostering a “democratic” atmosphere in classrooms), China could be ushering in a new kind of relationship between the rulers and the ruled.

My Friend

I have a good friend. Her name is Linda. She is from China.

Linda was ten years old three years ago. But she is thirteen years old now. Three years ago, she had long hair. She was short and thin. However, she has shorter hair than three years ago. She is taller now. She is still thin. She often wears glasses. She was shy and quiet three years ago. Now, she is still shy and quiet. But , she is more hard-working. Her favorite sport is basketball. She likes eating junk food . Also, she is popular .

January 1st is considered as the New Years Day.most companies,shops,school,and government offices are closed during that time.People prepare for New Years Dayfrom late December.Firt,people spend a few days to clean their houses completely.Some families then put up some new painting from November to be sent in January.

The New Years meal is also prepared from the end of ecember.During the New Years Day,people usually do not cook and relax at home. On New Years Eve,it is common to have a bag dinner with family members or friends at home or in hotels and hear bells which informs us of the coming New Year.New Years Day is one of important days for many people in the word during the year.

Panda has a black and white coat.Adults measure around 1.5 meters long and around 75 centimeters tall at the shoulder.It has a body shape typical of bears.It has black fur on its ears,eye patches,muzzle,legs,arms and shoulders.

The rest of the animals coat is white.

The lovely panda is one of the few animals that has been surviving for millions of years on the earth.Its a moving antique now.

Care has to be taken though as the number is dwindling due to deforestation by mankind,hunting by unscrupulous hunters for money,reduction in food (baby bamboos) and also difficulty in conceiving.

Inow living in a small house with my parents. Life for us is hard but

happy. I must study hard so that I can buy a big new house some day. I call it a

dream house.

It has three floors with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, two big dining

rooms and two living rooms. When my friends come to visit me, I will have enough

bedrooms for them. Well have a good time. Besides that, we will have a swimming

pool behind the house and a garden in front of the house. In the morning, my

parents can do some exercise in the garden. The air must be very fresh. When we

feel tired, we can have a swim in the swimming pool. Life will be easy for

us.

Ill study harder than before so that the dream can come true.
