我在英语学校换过好几位老师，而令我印象最为深刻的还是王欣老师。

王欣老师中等个子，一头长发随意扎起，她笑时嘴角有两个梨涡，让人感到温暖。在我心里，她就像神一样完美、善良、乐观、开朗……，而她最显著的特点就是温柔、细心。

她从来不对我们发脾气，就算她多么需要发泄，也不会迁怒于我们。又一次例外，老师到外边接了个电话，回来后脸色很差，十分苍白，嘴唇也颤抖着，而我们仍在吵闹。终于她忍无可忍地大吼：“吵什么，你们能不能懂点事。”我们愣了，低下了头，几分钟难挨的沉默后，她才继续讲课。后来几天都由代课老师上课，我们感到不自在，觉得课程枯燥无聊。几天后，她回来了，大家围着她七嘴八舌地问，她笑吟吟地回答，只是面容有些憔悴。

在诸多的事中，我记得最清楚的是她改变我的性格。在英语学校，除了上课发言我几乎不说话，于是我成了孤家寡人，她似乎觉察到了什么，叫我来，希望我能多说话，多表达，理由是想多听听我的声音，我答应了，但效果不佳。于是，她开始有意无意的让我和同学，外教交流。起先我试图逃避，后来我发现，敞开心扉，与别人交流原来也是一件愉快的事，慢慢地，我变得健谈起来。当我去感谢王老师，她冲我微微一笑，我瞬间明白了，我也对她报以一笑，接着我们心照不宣地笑了。

虽然教完三级后，王老师就不教我们了，但我想，如果我们重逢的话，我一定送她个大大的拥抱。并附在她耳边说：“王老师，谢谢你！”

Two secondary school teachers I remember show how different people can be though engaged in the same profession.

中学二级教师我记得如何不同的人虽然可以从事相同的职业。

Mrs. Wang, my philosophy teacher, sent us to sleep less than ten minutes when she started talking in class. When a head nodded, she would point at the dozing student and made threatening remarks. She said that she was bored teaching us. Some students in her eyes had no desire to learn. But the other teacher Mr. Li always had bright eyes in a smiling face and encouraging words which showed that he loved Chinese history he was teaching and wanted us to love it too.

王太太，我的哲学老师，给我们的睡眠时间少于十分钟的时候，她开始在课堂上说话。当一头点了点头，她会在打瞌睡的学生和威胁的话。她说，她厌倦了我们的教学。在她的眼睛里有些学生没有学习的欲望。但是，李老师总是有明亮的眼睛在微笑和鼓励的话表明他爱中国历史上他是教学要我们太爱它。

When it came to their attitudes to their students, they were different too. After Mrs. Wang finished her day`s lessens she felt that she had finished her job. Once when I asked her a question outside class about a term, she continued with preparation to leave and said that I could bring my question to class next week. Before I knew it she had put her keys into her handbag and walked out of the door. In the history class, however, a question even after the bell would still be given attention to by Mr. Li. He would rush to the board in a last minute attempt to clear up. Often he was seen with a number of students standing outside the classroom, discussing the day`s assignment.

Their methods of teaching were not like as well. Mrs. Wang stuck to the textbook and trained us how to memorize minute facts. However Mr. Li brought in films, maps, slides, tapes, anything that would help us learn. Once the whole class went to see the `film Lin Zexu` in order to better understand the history of the Opium War from 1840 to 1842.

Owing to these contrasts, I do not think I can forget either of my past teachers.

进入三年级，我们增加了一门新课程——英语。之前我对英语一点也不感兴趣，觉得特别难。第一节英语课，老师给我们播放了英语录音，还和我们做有趣的游戏。老师饶有风趣的话语，充满激情的讲 解，丰富多样的课堂活动，让我一下子就喜欢上英语。从此以后，每天晚上都认真听英语录音，和妈妈用英语对话。这次期中考试我的英语考了100分，心里甭提多高兴了，这应该感谢英语老师的教导。

老师像一盏明亮的灯塔，指引我们走出黑暗的迷茫。老师像蜡烛，燃烧了自己，照亮了别人。感谢你，老师！

尊敬的赖老师：

I am writing this letter just want to say thanks to you. I am going to graduate in two weeks. You have been my class adviser for three years. During these three years you have spent lots of energy on us. You are not only teaching knowledge in the class, but also care our life. Sometimes we are afraid of you, because of your strict requirement for our study. However, you are so helpful in the daily life. No matter what difficulties we are in, you will help if you can. So, I also want to say sorry to you for making so much trouble. But you bear all my trouble. I don’t know what kind of class adviser I will meet in the future study, but I will remember and appreciate you forever. I want to say thank you again.

Little Prince

This is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to The Bible. It’s been translated to versions of many other languages. And I gather there must be something special, something really great about it. It’s this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. Well, with due respect to the author, I failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.

Anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain it’s position. And it’s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. I will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.

This book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. The prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. Before he came to the earth, little prince had been  to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people. The first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. The second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether it’s sincere or not. The third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that he’s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. The fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. Next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. The last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. These six people each represented one kind of person like us. The author satirized people’s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.

I see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of people’s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. People are supposed to care about each other, cherish what’s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that they’ve gained. We all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. But we may sometimes lose the right to  speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what we’ve experienced. That why in our middle school textbooks, it’s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he ain’t were anything”.

When I was a child, I was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without mom’s permission. And now I am a grown-up, and still I am a good man, at least, that’s what I heard. Sometimes when I was lonely and I began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free

life came back to me as it were yesterday. Kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and I myself am a child no more.  Thinking about all these things have made me moody. There’re changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not.

People told me life is a journey which will never stop once it’s started. What’s left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. There’s good old time to reminisce and there’s sad hours that reminds us of the pain. Your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.

I want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today is the future of yesterday, so making the most of today is the best way to cherish your lives. Our mortal beings are doomed to die. It’s not sad, instead, death it’s just a process of our lives. After all, we’ve lived our lives and it’s what we do and how we think that determine who we are.

(when you look at the above passages, don’t regard it as a composition or an article, because if you do, you will be puzzled at the structure. It’s just a few words that come to my mind at the moment and I type them.)

莎士比亚说过：“生活里没有书籍，就好像没有阳光。智慧里没有书籍，就好像鸟儿没有翅膀。”打开书本，不仅可以尽览古今中外的历史风云，可以漫游世界的每个角落，可以了解不同国家和民族的风土人情，可以纵观宇宙的浩瀚，也可以洞察不可见的微观粒子世界，因此，书籍是有限的人生了解无限世界的一种媒介和有效途径，是各种各样知识的永恒载体。

读书可以改变一个人的命运，是人一生中必不可少的一个组成部分。有研究表明，儿童的阅读能力与未来的学业成功密切相关，成功孩子所具有的共同爱好就是读书。小学中年级之前培养读书能力是非常重要的，是孩子各科学习的关键。读书的习惯只要从小培养，天长日久，书会成为孩子最知心的朋友，读书会成为孩子的一种习惯。

一、诱导以“趣”，走进图书。

培养阅读习惯一定要早，有人讲“爱看书的孩子不会变坏”，可见读书的习惯对孩子成长的重要作用。父母必须为孩子创造读书的好时机，帮助他们养成这种最重要的习惯。孩子一旦有了兴趣，自己就会不断阅读，并从中获益。现代社会是个网络化时代，更加具体形象的电影、电视和电脑纪录片似乎远比读书要有趣的多，如果没有很好的引导，孩子更加难以与书结缘，难以养成读书的习惯。在幼儿期，我针对孩子爱看动画片的特点，就以此为突破口，找她最喜欢的《海尔兄弟》、《金刚葫芦娃》、《猫和老鼠》等相关图书，并把图书的优点讲给他听：电视里只有对话和动作，但是图书中有故事怎么开始的，主人公怎么想，动作神态是以什么语言描述的，可有趣了。接着，我有声有色地翻着买来的书讲故事，她一听，果然如妈妈所说，就一下子喜欢上了。我趁热打铁，带她上书店，让她自己在书架上摸索出喜欢的图书，她有时就像发现宝藏一样兴奋地大叫：“妈妈，我找到了！”然后我抱着她夸张地讲着，时而加动作，时而变着不同角色的口吻，她被故事紧紧吸引着，听得津津有味。家长要常给孩子讲书上有趣的内容，并提出问题来讨论，要谈得有兴致，慢慢使孩子领会到，读书是一件有莫大快乐的美事，是与听磁带、看电视同样有趣的享受。

二、挑选以“精”，丰富书籍。

好的书才能引起孩子读书的乐趣。家长可以从书店为孩子购得好书，现在父母们不愁买不到书，而是愁怎样买到好书。家长要经常查阅一些图书信息，了解最适宜自己孩子的书籍有哪些，将好书记录下来，我经常带上孩子到新华书店去查询购买，让她自己先选各种不同的图书，慢慢比较和挑选，一次确定买两三本，回家和她快乐品读。

我为孩子办了一张借书卡，经常带着孩子去读书，感受浓浓的读书氛围，并告诉她如何选择自己有用的图书。平时有好的表现，我及时带她上书店买书作为奖励。每年我都以送成长礼物的方式，为孩子征订精心挑选的报刊杂志。让孩子找到乐趣，树立阅读刊物的意识和习惯。阅读的范围在逐渐扩大，孩子读的书越多，知识面就会越宽，读书的兴趣就会越浓，孩子对书的喜爱就会越深，养成读书的习惯就越容易。

三、授之以“法”，精读课本。

小学教科书是人类智慧的结晶，是最宝贵的遗产，是经过国家有关部门精选编著的，内容重要，结构严谨，语言规范，具有较强的系统性，教科书不仅是教师教学的依据，更是教会孩子自学的主教材，要适当指导孩子阅读，培养其自学能力。

家长要指导孩子耐心地精读教科书，告诉他读书的方法。不论哪一学科的教材，开始都要学会朗读，要读得准确(不读错、不加字、不减字)，流利(一句一句读通顺，不慌张，不结巴)、有表情(读出句子的标点、停顿和语气，文艺故事类课文要读出表情)；并从慢速朗读到快速朗读，锻炼眼睛捕捉文字的能力和立即读出句子的能力，这对提高理解能力、书面表达能力和口头表达能力以及加强记忆，好处都是极大的。朗读是最集中注意的阅读，能同时保证眼到、口到、心到，是阅读能力的基本功，务必要好好练习。有了较好的朗读能力后，要学习默读。默读时，不出声音，不动嘴唇，理解读的内容，不囫囵吞枣。读任何课文，遇到不认识的字和不理解的词，一定要学会，命令自己及时记住，不允许混过去。

不论读什么教材，遇到不懂的内容或想像不出来的地方，一定要提问，或画图来帮助理解。告诉孩子，越会提问的人越聪明，提问、思考和讨论本身比分数更重要。家长要大力表扬能提出疑问的孩子，并一起津津有味地思考这些问题。要在课文中找出最重要的话、结论性的话和公式，用红笔划杠，尽量透彻理解，并要背熟。语文课文中精彩的语句、段落甚至全篇也要熟读，并做到能背，能表演。孩子读情节生动的课文时，我让她基本记住情节，自编课本剧，如《司马光砸缸》、《乌鸦喝水》等，合理发挥想象，进行角色表演。这样不仅能快速背诵课文，还对文章所表达的情感有了更透彻的个性理解。结合教科书还可以给孩子介绍一些与各科教材有关的课外读物，如语文的有关作者传记故事，数学的有关趣味题目，自然的有关小实验和趣闻，地理的有关名胜，历史的有关故事书等。

在不断的精读中，孩子可以逐渐掌握科学的读教科书方法，而科学的读书方法本身可以让孩子提高读书的效率，从书中获得更多的兴趣，这样孩子就更加喜爱读书，形成逐渐强化的良性循环。

四、形式以“活”，快乐读书。

平时要鼓励和帮助孩子建设自己的小家当，使他有自己的书桌、书柜、报刊架、大地图、地球仪、实验操作工具，有条件的家庭要给孩子一个小房间，指导孩子把学习气氛制造得浓浓的，如张贴座右铭、名人图片，陈列自己的学习作品和奖品，设置实验角、电脑台等等。

指导和表扬孩子多思考、多提问、多查资料(如《新华字典》《小学生词典》《成语词典》《小学生文库》《小学生知识手册》《小学生百事问》《小学生十万个为什么》)等，遇到问题就记下来(用一个提问小本子)，事后问老师和家长(一般不要让孩子时刻离位提问)。

孩子读各种各样情节有趣的故事书，看到任何书中感兴趣的章节，经常找我即兴合作编演，我有意识地请她做编导，女儿那投入的样子，惟妙惟肖的表演，创造性的发挥，令人忍俊不禁，我也乐在其中。对于新奇有趣的科学知识书，如《十万个为什么》、天体和动物趣闻等，常常讨论，满足孩子的新奇感和求知欲。还读一点学学做做、学学猜猜方面的书，让孩子把读书与动手、动脑结合起来，既丰富了生活，又能让孩子懂得书能指导实践和操作。例如按书上讲的方法做实验、种庄稼、饲养小动物等，就会使孩子特别快乐。我鼓励女儿参加各类语言类比赛，如市“古诗词朗诵”比赛、讲故事比赛等，我建议她自己在书中选材，设计动作，对着镜子练习，尽其所能表现故事。由于平时的阅读训练循序渐进，孩子上台能从容自信，比赛结果还比较满意，她在整个比赛过程中也获取了点滴读书的成就感。此外，要常带孩子以书会友，小伙伴互换图书，交流读书心得，分享快乐，锻炼口语表达能力和交往能力。

著名作家冰心说过：“读书好，好读书，读好书。”书是营养品，常言道：“书中自有黄金屋。”酷爱读书的人在享受快乐的同时，自己也变得聪明起来。我们要教育孩子善于读书，珍惜时间，培养孩子喜欢读书是家长的一个重要目标和任务，培养孩子养成读书习惯就等于为孩子找到了拥有世界的捷径。
