参观了大熊猫基地、三星堆遗址、四川博物馆和杜甫草堂。这次的文化与美食之旅，给我留下印象最深的是大江上建起的千年古堰——都江堰。

听导游介绍说都江堰是一座举世闻名的古代水利工程，我脑中闪出我们今天将看到一座高高筑起的水坝，进入景区后根据导游讲解，才知道都江堰原来是一座早在公元前256年修建的年代最早、至今仍发挥着巨大作用的无坝引水的水利工程。由于当时岷江水患，庄稼年年欠收，为了解决百姓的困苦生活，当时蜀郡郡守李冰带领助手们考察三年，制定了一套科学又独特的治水方案，在岷江上建成了都江堰水利工程，主要由宝瓶口、鱼嘴和飞沙堰三部分组成。通过看与听我才知道了这项伟大工程的杰出所在。

当时开凿宝瓶口是为了分流受玉垒山阻挡的岷江水造成的洪灾，通过宝瓶口将江水引流到东岸的成都平原。由于当时火药还没有发明，开凿宝瓶口时难度最大，李冰和工匠们运用热胀冷缩原理，先用火烧山石再浇以冷水使其爆裂的方式开凿玉垒山，因为山口的形状酷似瓶口而取名为“宝瓶口”。

因为岷江地势东高西低，很难将岷江水分流引入位于东岸的宝瓶口，李冰又带领工匠们在离玉垒山不远的岷江出山口弯道处利用江心原来就有的沙洲筑起了一道分水堰，形状酷似鱼的嘴巴，被称做“鱼嘴”。为了防止堰体被湍急的江水冲跨，人们用当地盛产的慈竹编成一个个大竹笼，把鹅卵石装进去，然后垒成堤。鱼嘴建成后把汹涌的岷江分隔成了外江和内江两部分，外江用于排洪，内江的水则流往成都平原。鱼嘴是都江堰的分水要道，内江河床低、江面窄，而外江河床高、江面宽，枯水季节、洪水季节，通过调节河床高低来调整流入内江的水量。流入内江的水是用来灌溉的，用来灌溉的水需要控制水量，为进一步分流洪水，李冰带领人们
