There is only one word which can describe my childhood. The word is“carefree”that so many todays kids do not understand， although they have delicious food， beautiful clothes and pretty toys.

My parents never forced me to do anything. I recited a lot of poems and fine articles， but not for performing before their friends and our relatives， just because I enjoyed rhythms and words. So I never considered them a burden。 Later， when I was in the primary school， the homework was very few and easy to do， and I was never asked to be the top students.

Nor did my parents stop me from doing anything. After I finished my homework， I could stay outside for a whole afternoon to do whatever I liked. I used to go swimming in the river in summer， skating on the ice in winter. Sometimes I played basketball or football with my little friends.
