Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. The rules in our class, for example: not diligent student didnt change class will not be able to finish homework, because of the pressure, a heartbreaker for these people, finally they decided to change my homework finished, also get real learning, no longer look for excuses to slack off. So the pressure is often motivates us go forward.

Large and small pressure exists in our life, we should be appropriate to adjust the mood, the pressure into power, so as to let the life become more colorful.

人人都有压力，只要有事情做不完或想不开时，压力就会神不知鬼不觉的附着在那个人的身上，引起各种“症状”，例如：睡不着觉、食欲降低或心情不好……等。

我的压力是补习回家后功课写不完，常常忙到三更半夜;爸爸的压力是会计工作做不完;妈妈的压力是因为他身为职业妇女，一只蜡烛两头烧，担心家庭跟工作没办法兼顾好，而姐姐的压力是近视的度数增加的非常快，很难控制。

压力不一定都是坏的，也有一些是好的。以我们班上的规定为例：不用功的学生没改完作业就不能下课，因为这个压力，让这些人伤透了脑筋，最后他们终于决定把作业改完，也获得真正的学习，不再找借口偷懒。所以压力常常会督促着我们勇往直前。

大大小小的压力存在我们的生活当中，我们应该适当的调适心情，把压力化为助力，这样才能让生活变得多采多姿。

Many years ago, the movie about the youth became very popular, every year,

we can see many hot movies about the protagonist’s passed youth. People like to

recall their passed youth, which makes such movies sell good. But I find the

common things about these movies, all the protagonists’ youth are about

fighting, love and other negative things. I understand the directors’ intention,

they want to tell people youth is not perfect and having pities. Of course movie

is exaggerating, the real youth is about studying, at least, most people have

worked so hard to get into their ideal colleges. What the movies describe make

up some people’s youth, for which they don’t have the chance to experience. We

should not be misled by these movies, for the teenagers, their job is to study,

so that they can have a bright future.

Today, we visited the world-famous ancient miracle - the Great Wall.

The Great Wall is the symbol of the Chinese nation, it stretches for more than twelve thousand, is one of the worlds greatest works of architecture. We visit the Great Wall at badaling. When a few yards from the car to badaling, have seen the magnificent Great Wall, into the distance with the rolling mountains abruptness, extension, like a dragon in the mountains of mist ascended. Every other distance on the Great Wall is a beacon tower, like a giant hand in hand, shouldering the defend the burden of the central plains of China.

今天，我们游览了世界闻名的古建筑奇迹——长城。

长城是中华民族的象征，它全长一万两千多里，是世界上最伟大的建筑之一。我们游览的是长城八达岭段。当车行到离八达岭不远处时，就已经看到了气势恢宏的长城，随着连绵起伏的山脉向远处曲曲折折地延伸，像一条龙在云雾缭绕的山峰中飞腾。长城上每隔一段距离就是一座烽火台，像一个个巨人手牵着手，担起了保卫中原大地的重任。

我们从长城脚下往上爬，长城并不像我想象的那样陡峭，而是由许多缓坡连接起来，在比较陡的地方都筑有阶梯，阶梯的两旁和中间还装有扶手，一点儿也不难爬。长城上人山人海，还有许多“老外”呢!在不知不觉中，我们已经爬到了第一个烽火，这里让我想起了“烽火戏诸侯”的故事。过了烽火台，我们又继续向上攀登，在山间云雾里，我隐隐约约看见对面的山上有用钢板做成的“同一个世界，同一个梦想”的标语牌。接着往上爬，我们看到了一座碉楼，爸爸说：“这是哨塔，古代哨兵就在这里放哨。”过了哨塔，我们就往回走，来到了“好汉碑”。好汉碑上有毛主席的题词——不到长城非好汉。我们全家在这儿留了个影，便回家了。

“不到长城非好汉”，今天我爬上了长城，我也当了一回好汉，真开心啊!

早上，我透过窗户往外看，啊，起雾了!外面浓雾弥漫，一片苍茫。

走在大路上，我仔细地观赏着这白茫茫的大雾，伸出我的手想去抓的时候竟毫无知觉似的穿透了过去。

现在，天地笼罩着无比宽大的烟雾。近处的花、草、树木，远处的楼房，在雾中若隐若现;阳光一点也不耀眼，只显出朦胧的圆影子。路上人们来来往往。远远地只能听见杂碎的、间断的脚步声，自行车铃声，就在靠近的一瞬，才看清楚了他们的面容。等转过身再看时，他们的背景已慢慢地远了，仿佛进入飘飘的仙境一般。

我忽然觉得自己也在这“仙境”中漫游。我的眼前不断飘来轻纱似的雾，一颗颗、一粒粒，如烟、如尘……我伸手去抓，哈，抓住了!当我张开手细看，它早从我的指间溜走了，空气中到处是它的身影，让我分不清了。多可爱的雾!它又像一个巧妙的化妆师，把我的额前绺绺黑发染成一缕缕银丝，上下的睫毛都沾满了小小的水晶花。我把眼睛稍闭一会儿再睁开，只觉得眼睛湿润润的有一丝凉意，舒服极了!

过了一会儿，雾小了，大地脱下了厚厚的绒衣裳，披上了轻柔的薄纱。一些大树的枝叶已经羞涩地从雾中露出婀娜的身姿，似乎是在招呼天上淡淡的白云。柔和的光芒也都洒了下来，这一切构成了一幅宁静幽雅的水粉画。

我正陶醉在大自然的美景中，太阳这位杰出的画师又轻甩画笔，刹那间，我已置身在明亮清晰的世界里了!
