在这次收获颇丰的活动中，我们既欣赏了祖国的大好河山，又品尝了一些有名的特产，并且领悟到了许多人生的道理。在这次研学旅行中，令我感触最深的莫过于千龙湖的一位军人的演讲了，他为我们演讲的主题是《感恩》，大概讲述的是这么一个故事：一家人出去旅游，而一位老奶奶却不愿去，她的孙子多次劝其一同前往，但她却多次以腿脚不方便而拒绝，很多分钟后，其儿子还是无动于衷，不耐烦了，干脆让她在家里，大家都走了，只有这一位老人流着眼泪默默地走进了自己的房间。我们也流下了眼泪，其实我们都知道她并不是不想去，只是儿子不大愿意，没有一颗感恩的心，不知道孝敬父母，从小以自我为中心，不知道养成感恩的好习惯。这个故事也让我们知道了从小培养感恩的重要性。

感恩是一种爱，是一种感激，是一种回报。这些我们都懂但当老师说到一个道理时，我们也就愣住了。这让我联想到了我的父母，他们为我无私奉献，情愿自己挨饿受冻，省吃俭用，也总是想尽他们所能，把他们最好的给我。而我们却还十分挑剔，甚至还觉得是理所当然，整天在家过着“衣来伸手，饭来张口”的皇帝般的生活。又想到母亲为我们做这做那，而我们连一件小小的洗手洗脚都做不好，泪水也就在顷刻间流下来了……

用家里的烤箱就能烤出香美的火鸡。20磅以下的火鸡解冻后用酱油、盐、糖及一些自己喜欢的大料类在常温下腌制一天，如果放在冰箱则要两天;先将烤箱预热475华氏度，烤30分钟之后取出给火鸡翻个身，并将烤盘内的油倒出，再放入烤箱烤30分钟。这时，将已经炒得半熟的糯米饭加上凤梨、火腿、虾干等制成的填料放入火鸡肚子，将烤箱温度调到450华氏度，并给火鸡外表抹上一点蜜糖与腌料的汁，放回烤箱内约30分钟后再翻身抹汁，烤约30分钟即可。给火鸡翻身是不容易的，但是只有这样火鸡才会热得均匀，外酥里嫩，并且肉里有汁，还有隐约的凤梨的香甜。

传统感恩节火鸡

美国人吃火鸡时多数是焖烤，通常是把火鸡肚子里塞上各种调料和拌好的食品，然后用烧烤袋包好，整只烤出。

传统的感恩节大餐包括了烤火鸡，有些家庭是以烤鹅来替代火鸡;还有塞在火鸡内部的填充佐料Stuffing，是用撕成碎片的玉米面包(CornBread)、白面包和芹菜等等做成的;除此之外还有用火鸡内脏煮成的浓稠淋汁(Gravy)。另外还有一样特别的酱汁-小红莓调味酱汁(CranberrySauce)，用的就是每年九月和十月时盛产的小红莓。其它的配菜还包括烤洋芋泥、烤红薯泥、青豆和比司吉等等。最后的甜点当然有应景的南瓜派，也可以准备核桃派或苹果派。

火鸡的吃法

吃火鸡也有一定讲究，端上桌后，由男主人用刀切成薄片分给大家，然后由各人自己浇上卤汁，洒上盐，味道十分鲜美。感恩节的食物除火鸡外，还有红莓苔子果酱、甜山芋、玉蜀黍、 南瓜饼、沙拉自己烘烤的面包及各种蔬菜和水果等。这些东西都是感恩节的传统食品。
