When I began to learn English in Grade 5 in primary school, I had a great interest in English. And my English always ranked first in the exams. My View on Helping Others in Need

In modern society we are often sorry to see that people are reluctant to help others out, not to mention helping a stranger; offering a helping hand seems to be out of accord with the times。

Then what’s wrong with our society? Some people may say that facing skyrocketing housing prices, expensive medical expenditure

and soaring commodity prices, they have no choice but to struggle to make a living, and thus it would be impossible to spare a hand to help others because it may bring them into trouble. Therefore, standing by indifferently is their only choice。

It is a fact that college is becoming more and more expensive and college life is becoming especially hard for the students who were born in needy families. However, there are several ways in which these students can cover their tuition that their parents are not able to afford. Finding a part-time job, for example, is an ideal way. For me, earning tuition by doing part-time jobs is the most suitable way. First, I learn to be independent both mentally and economically in this way. Every Chinese, who experienced 1980s, will remember forever the day November 6th 1981 when the China National Womens Volleyball Team defeated the Japan National Team (the so-called "Toyo Women Magic") with 3 to 2 at the 3rd World Womens Volleyball Cup in Osaka Japan. 其次，在我们的大学生活中学生活动中起了重要的作用。老实说，学生会是一个很好的地方，一个可以培养社会技能的地方，一个训练自己能力的地方。我参加了许多学生活动。例如，我是一个志愿者，教孩子们学习舞蹈和写作。我认为帮助别人是有意义的。我还可以在学生会中做一些工作，包括接收和发送快速电子邮件，卖报纸和杂志。我觉得他们是我难忘的、有价值的经验。

Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves of books, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In this way, I can share stories with my new friends and it also changes my horizons .When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet and comfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in the library.

第三，我经常去图书馆。据说“书架上的书，知识的海洋，所以我阅读我感兴趣的书。这样，我可以和我的新朋友分享故事，也改变了我的视野。在我难过，迷失或陷入困境的时候，呆在图书馆能让我感到安静和舒适。毕竟，每个人的生活都有不好和好的时候，图书馆对我来说也是心情不好时的一种支撑。所以对我来说呆在图书馆是明智的选择。

Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviate parents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earn money. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills.

最后，我经常在空余时间做一些其他的事情。为了减轻父母的负担，我经常做一些兼职工作，写一些文章来赚钱。它帮助我变得独立，改善我的社交能力。

In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see that the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so I’m sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life.

总之，我的大学生活是忙碌而有价值的。你可以看到学习带给我知识，学生活动提升我自己，图书馆改变了我的视野，其他的事情让我变得独立。它们让我所有的能力得到训练。我看到机会只会留给有准备的人，所以我相信在大学生活中我能实现我的梦想。

After completing my military service, I have been looking for a challenging goal for me to achieve. And I found that the Intermediate of General English Proficiency Test fits my new achievement properly.I graduated from Taipei Commercial Junior College, majored in business administration. Instead of spending much time in playing, I devoted myself to my studies and paid attention to all meaningful things happened in daily life. By the way, I learned a lot from Mr. Wang, the professor of my business class. He is my good friend till now an often gives some appropriate suggestions toward my problem confusion.My father is, in the same way, a good consultant to me. As he said: I am in poor education, little for you; to clarify, what he have given is far beyond his words, I do think so. I was born in a country of Ping Tung Country, farming is our career of generations. There are four people in my family, Mother is housewife and my brother is a student of an Agriculture CollegeI am optimistic and active, and I am confident that I can pass the test. 2.28 星期二 晴

今天是实习授课的第二天，我早早地准备好今天讲课的内容，但真的要上课时，我心里却不免有点紧张，因为昨天是我第一次上讲台用自己的方式去向学生传授知识啊!今天在上新课之前，我必须先要把昨天的内容

简单复习一下，这可正是对我教的好坏一个全面的检验......上课了，我表面上镇定自如地走上了讲台。一些常规的课堂程序之后，我开始了课堂复习步骤，出乎意料的是学生们反应迅速，对答如流。说真心话，看到这我心里真的感到无比喜悦。

晚上回到家，想起白天上课的情景，我感慨颇多，我想我真正体味到了劳动并享受着劳动后的成果的愉悦了。当然，在物欲横流的现代社会，这个观念也许会显得有些陈旧和俗套，但它却有着与生俱来的独特的古朴、风韵和精华。我们不能将快乐简单地理解为物质利益的获得和某种非精神意味的享受，快乐与否在于我们自身、我们的付出和我们的感受。由此我想到现在的学习，很长的一段时间，我都因没有进入理想的学府而怨天尤人，失却快乐。其实不断的学习便是一种快乐，奋进着永不放弃，需要不断体验快乐来支撑。不久的将来，我会成为一名人民教师，我会辛勤地工作，用心地去教书育人，我相信我一定能在平凡、艰苦中感受到欣慰和快乐。

3.3 星期五 小雨

今天是我实习的最后一天。因为课程安排在上午一、二两节，所以我得起早，偏偏天公不作美，下着小雨，清晨躺在床上的我真的不想起床，看看表，哎呀!快六点了，再不起来就会迟到了，可是由于昨晚备课到很晚加上心里一直惦记着今天要起早。所以整夜没睡好，夜里醒了好几次，真不想起床啊......然而想到那些学生们，我自问“我有理由迟到吗?”最后我终于没有给我的实习留下什么遗憾，事后我却想了许多，也明白了由立志到实现目标非常关键的一点就在于坚持。坚持对于我们来说都是再熟悉不过的字眼，可是真正把握住它的人却凤毛麟角，坚持需要毅力，需要对目标价值的深切期望和正确估价，有时甚至需要人格力量来支撑。事情的成功有时往往便在于我们能否坚持那关键的一步，走过去，前面就可能是另一番海阔天空，而习惯了坚持，久而久之，这一信念范畴的东西便会逐渐地融入我们的个性之中，成为一种素养，一种道德，现在的我们马上面临毕业，就要踏入社会了，或许一些人会认为到了现在我们可以不再努力，毕业后找份工作，那便是一生了。如果这样的话，那么我们就永远失去了成就某种事业的机会。事实上作为师范专业的学生，我们更应该树立正确的劳动观念和道德意识。为人师表，认真而严肃的从事自己所热爱的事业，愉快而充实的度过我们平凡的一生。

3.5 星期一

昨天穿了整天的高跟鞋跑来跑去，傍晚到住处时脚痛得很厉害，都是高跟鞋惹的祸。今天我终于放弃我坚持足足两天的“职业淑女装”计划，改穿帆布鞋了，虽然看起来有点“不敬业”但至少我精神状态好多了，晚饭也算是能咽下了。今天下午总负责人赫老师给开了个小会，会上总结了一周班级的基本情况，听起来都是些琐碎的小事情，例如老师的表现是否合格，学生课堂表现等等。赫老师用聊天的方式很细心的分析着这些，不仅仅吸引老师们的注意，连所有其他负责老师也不自觉的被吸引过去了，我在一边看着赫老师，一边瞧瞧其他老师的反应。真不知道让我发言的时候能不能也有这样的效果，希望有吧。不过接手前的这个星期有点像被判“死缓”，哈哈。

3.9 星期三

天正式给学生上高中的课了班上有20几个学生和听课的老师，但是我一点没有紧张。因为可能培训的时候适应了吧上课做了一次单元测试，所以后来我就讲了一节试卷评讲课，一节单词的讲解。讲试卷时明显就发现了自己的不足，知道答案却难以讲解的明白。每个题目都得到字典上去寻求解释，还需要向老师请教如何讲解。很多很细微的知识点也要向学生解释清楚的。经过这几节课的实践，自己虽然还是难以把握讲解的方法，总算还是学得了一些。自己感觉在讲解试卷时，内容会很枯燥，同学们听着也很无聊，开始在下面做别的了，谁料被坐在下面的老师发现了，把他们教育了一番，可能是我光顾着自己讲了，都没怎么注意下面的同学的反应。这一点以后一定得避免。回顾这四周的时间我是专心的，但专心不一定等于成功，我究竟是一名实习生，在知识的构建上还存在着许多断章，还缺乏教学经验，甚至因为读错了某个英语单词或某个字后，或者写错了某句话，老师把错误指出来后而无地自容。但是我想通过两个月的实习我一定会越来越好的。

随着又一年高考的结束，许多大学生暑假之后就将要进入大学校门了。这里有一些为他们准备大学生活的建议。

First, the most important thing they should learn is to learn to think independently.The ability of think independently is quite important in college life because no one will tell them what to do and how to do at all time in college. Therefore, to own a meaningful college time, students need to practice their ability of think independently so that they can deal with various matters by their own.

首先，他们应该学会的最重要的就是学会独立思考。独立思考能力在大学生活中是非常重要的，因为在大学里没有人会时刻告诉他们要做什么，该怎么做。因此，想要拥有一段有意义的大学时光，学生们需要锻炼他们独立思考的能力，这样他们才能独立处理各种事情。

Second, another thing they should learn is to be independent. In addition to learn to think independently, they also need to be independent in their ordinary lives. They should develop an awareness of independence. They should aware the differences between high school life and college life. In life, they should try to cope with their own matters by themselves; in study, they need to make their arrangements and supervise themselves. In a word, they need to practice their ability of solving problems by themselves instead of asking others for help at first.

其次，另外他们要学会的是独立。除了学会独立思考之外，他们还需要在日常生活中学会独立。他们应该培养自己的独立意识，应该清楚高中生活与大学生活的不同。在生活上，他们需要独自处理自己的事;学习上，他们需要自己做安排，自己监督自己。总之，他们需要锻炼独立处理问题的能力而不是第一时间向他人求助。

Finally, to avoid some difficulties in college life, students need to make some concrete preparations before their entering college. They need to know the basic information of the college where they are going to enter, such as the traffic and the routine around it. They also need to know the concrete requirement of their majors and even begin to learn the basic knowledge of their majors so that they will not feel confused at the beginning. Another point need to be mentioned is that learning English should not be stopped even though in holiday.

最后，为了避免一些困难，在进入大学之前还需要做一些具体的准备。他们需要了解他们即将进入的大学的基本概况，比如周边的交通和路线。他们还要了解专业的具体要求，甚至要开始学习专业的基本知识，这样他们才不至于在开始时感到迷茫。另外需要提醒的一点是，即使是在假期，英语学习也不应该停止。

Therefore, to have a meaningful and wonderful life in college, students need to begin to make preparations before entering it.

因此，想要拥有有意义的，精彩的大学生活，学生们需要在进入大学之前就要开始做准备。
