Mother’s Day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts and flowers. 圣诞节是西方国家最盛大的节日。节日在12月25日，是耶稣基督的生日。节日前，每个家庭都要买一颗圣诞树，放在起居室的中央，这样他们家看起来又温馨又漂亮。

每人都有考不好的时候，我也不例外。让我来告诉你吧！

星期二的时候，老师宣布下午要期中考试，要带好自己的文具。老师说着，我就记录下来：铅笔、橡皮、钢笔、圆珠笔、水彩笔、尺子等等。

下午，我们班的同学有一半到三年级一班去考，我也去了。到了那儿，我把文具摆好，准备考试。先考语文再考数学。一会儿，语文试卷发下来了，我们大家认真地做起了试卷。时间过得可真快呀！一会儿就下了第二节课。我们班的同学议论纷纷，有的说自己一定能拿第一，有的埋怨自己题不会做，还有的很快就放学了，我们都希望自己能考一个好的成绩。

第二天，试卷发下来了，我们班的成绩相当差。我语文才考了８８分，数学考了９４分。虽然这次成绩已经改变不了了，但是我还会努力地去准备下一次的考试，争取考得更好的成绩。

In many countries in the world, women are looked down upon. It is more

difficult for them to get some work than men. In order to get a job, they

sometimes have to tell a lie. Thats unfair. In fact, women can work no worse

than men. Theres nothing that women cant do.

Perhaps, they are better at their work than men. For example, in making

telephones and computers, many companies would rather employ women, for men

excellent engineers, doctors and teachers. So I am sure the day will come soon

when women can really get equal rights.

School eduction has played an important role in people’s life. When reaching three tears old, the little children will go to kindergarten for a preschool education. And then they will take part in the primary school, middle school, high school, college and so on. School eduction almost run through people’s whole life. So it is very important. We all know that thereare many knowledgeable teachers in school will teach the students. But it’s not enough. School eduction needs the coordination of family education. The British educator, Hosea Ballou once said,”Education commences at the mother’s knee, and every word spoken within the hearsay of children tends towards the formation of character. Therefore, we can see that the successful of school education needs the help of family education so that the children can have a perfect education. The promissing future is waiting for them.

学校教育在人们的生活中扮演着很重要的角色。在小孩三岁的时候，他们就会去幼儿园进行学前教育。之后他们会去上小学，初中，高中，大学等。学校教育几乎贯穿人的一生。所以它是非常重要的。我们都知道，学校有很多知识渊博的老师来教学生知识。但这是不够的。学校教育需要家庭教育的协调。英国教育家巴卢曾经说过，“教育始于母亲膝下，孩童耳听一言一语，均影响其性格的形成”。因此，我们可以看到，学校教育的成功需要家庭教育的协助，使孩子们拥有一个完善的教育。光明的未来在等着他们。

嗨！时间真如江河之水，一去不复返。这个学期结束了，我也该对自己做个期末总结了吧！

昨天刚考完期末考试，回家后我还一直是信心满满。今天上午老师叫我去帮忙登一下分数。

同去的还有班上的熊雨欣和罗文杰。我在抄写分数的时候，我留心了一下自己的考试成绩。

语文和数学考的还行，就是英语考的太差了，只得了90分，我原本对父母夸下海口说一题都没错，这下简直令我羞愧得无地自容。

我实在是该好好的反省一下了。回想在期末考试的前一个多月，我几乎没有读一下英语课本，父母每次提醒我听读，我根本就没有去做，只是忽悠他们说：“我全都会了”。俗话说：种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆。

我以前每天种下的恶因，现在轮到我尝苦果的时候了。

相比之下，那几位得高分的同学，就比我刻苦得多了，据我所了解，英语得高分的冯文涛和戴妮娜，每天听读英语至少一小时，他们得不到高分才怪呢！我付出的实在是太少了。

那些得高分的同学都有一个共同的特点：就是熟读课文，擅写单词。

而英语原本就是我的弱项，我却从来没有好好的用功。所以也只能得这样的分数了。

幸好，我的语文进步了一点，数学没退也没进，但英语落后了这么多，这似乎是在告戒我：没有好的学习态度，自以为是的心理，拖拉懒惰的毛病……种种坏习惯如果不改正的话，是永远也考不出好成绩的。

总而言之，这个学期我是进步不大，却退步不小。

今后我一定要好好的反省自己的过错，力争下学期纠正这些诸多缺点。要知道：“虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。”这是我们每个人都应该遵循的道理。
