This summer, I had some special days. I joined dongzhou international educational exchange summer camp.

First, I will tell you about our foreign teachers, they are shrina and rebecca. They are friendly and beautiful. They are students at oxford university.

Every afternoon, we played exciting games: chinese whispers, tongue twisters, wheelbarrow, egg and spoon, three legs…

On the last day, we had a good time. We made black tea. We put tea bags, some milk and lots of water in to a big bowl, and then we stirred the tea until it became red and dark. Oh, it tasted good! later, we used eggs, flour and milk to make many pancakes. To cook them is very interesting. When we finished it, the pancakes looked round and nice. We put some jam on it. how delicious! I won’t ever forget it.

The summer camp is a really good chance for me. I know the local things in england. I learned a lot and like english more. I also know better ways to learn english well.

I was born in a small village with a hill behind it and many big areas of feilds in front. Most of the villagers live in tall buildings like the people in cities.In their home, they have telephones,TV sets,washing machines and so on.They can also use drinking water supplied by the water company in the village,but it costs them a little money every year.If they plant crops, the goverment will give them some money as encouragement.The more land they farm, the more money they will get.All around the year, they work on their farm land for only four or five months.In the rest time,they often work in the cities nearby for money.They needn’t worry about anything for living, such as food or clothes.

There is a tall teaching building with a computer room, a reading room, a meeting room,a lab and sixteen class-rooms in our school.Around it are big trees and behind the building is a wide playground for us to do sports on.All the teachers work carefully and teach us very well.

What is more,when we are ill or want to do some shopping and so on, everything is OK without leaving the village.

But in the past, it is said there were few people living in two houses made of wood,grass and mud.That is why it is still called Two Houses today.It is not hard to imagine what their life was like.

Now I feel that I am proud of my hometown.As a student,I must study hard to get more knowledge so that I can build my village better when I grow up.

除了改作业，她还要盯紧我们这些不完成作业的“捣蛋鬼”。记得有一次：六年级上册的时候，我没有写周末的英语作业，老师在课堂上狠狠的批评了我一顿，并且叫我第四节的体育课去找他补作 业。一来到老师办公室老师的第一节课就是：“志阳，你来啦，快坐下。”我开始补我的作业，老师一边看我的作业一边对我说：“志阳，为什么没有写作业？”我支支吾吾的想了半天，最后才说：我 我没有抄作业回家。“”你啊！你啊！上了六年级也不把不抄作业的习惯改改，六年级的功课是十分紧的，不写作业是不行的。“

So we can go there on foot .Walk straight to the west from our school, next turn left at the post office and walk for about 5 minutes, then turn right at traffic lights. In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is

too heavy. While it is true that students need to study, they need other things

as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. High should be

allowed more time for play. Plying is not wasting time, as some think. It gives

them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. Which tends to be

stifled by too much study. Finally, the pressure put on high school students by

excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and

mentally. I do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. I do think, however,

that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and

to the society as a whole.

Nowadays we see supermodels on almost every magazine cover and one might wonder what life will be like being one of them. Such assumption may be painful for most of the magazine readers who are already over the age when they can get taller. In response to the ”Getting taller trend”, some goes so far as to pay doctors to cut their legs open and let surgeries do the job to get just two centimeters’ higher.

In spite of all these that are happening, some of my taller friends desire to give up this superiority for they just don’t want to be the center of the crowd, saying that they would kill to be a 4 feet child. Girls, maybe you can’t remember the time when you were younger and you need to jump really hard to catch a glimpse of up-the-table world? But being taller, even the upper world of the refrigerator top is no longer a myth and your mom and dad can’t hide your snacks up there any more! As time goes on, you can easily see on the table the beautiful lavenders or lilies stretching themselves in their own fragrant smell, the shining toaster popping out warm tasty toast, or the little drops of water glittering under bright sunshine after your mom wipes the table. Don’t you just love to see every phase of the moon even when they are not that high up in the sky?

Well, I do. Being a 5 ft 10 myself, I am also taking the advantage of buying a larger outfit at a same price. Also, I get a cleaner view of the blackboard even when sitting far away from it. I run faster, jump higher and can think positively. I am proud to say that I possess the ability to see the upside of almost everything. I guess it is because I am closer to the clear blue sky above our heads.

much work, but we fail to realize that it’s our work that keep us moving on and

helps us to become a better man. Last summer I visited my friends in a small

village. It was obvious that working has become an indispensable part of their

daily lives. They all went to the field to plant the crops. The sun was shinning

今年，我读了朱自清的《背影》时，我内心的感觉并不是十分深刻，然而，几天前又重温《背影》时，内心的感觉却异常细腻，就在不经意间滑落脸庞。这泪眼迷茫间，仿佛看到了一位苍茫无力的父亲那驼背的背影，也仿佛看到了自己父亲脸上那沧桑面庞……

有一个人，他用那双坚实有力的手臂将呱呱坠地的我抱起;有一个人，他用那宽阔的肩膀为我支起一个温暖的家;有一个人，他那算不上伟岸的身躯却能让我安心的去依靠……那个人就是父亲。从小到大，我从未对父亲表达过对他的爱，父亲也一样。因为父亲是个不善言谈的人，所以他也从不把对我的爱挂在嘴边。但尽管如此，透过他的眼神，他的习惯，在他不经意的言语和动作，我都能感受到那份深埋在他心底部却从未表。

我的父亲像船帆一样，在无边无际的海上，任凭风吹雨打也不怕。记得那一次，是六一儿童节。虽然，我已经不是幼稚的小毛孩，但是父亲却还要给我庆祝。父亲答应我，下午下班时给我“肯德鸡”。我可开心了。我盼啊盼啊，叨啊叨啊，终于等到了父亲的下班时间。我欣喜若狂地跑到阳台前，抬起头。天哪，乌云密布，居然快要下雨了。真是“天有不测之风云”透过阴深深的天空，我失望地垂下了头，心里想：父亲现在回来，一定不会淋到雨，但却吃不了“肯德鸡”;父亲要是给我买“肯德鸡”，但会成了“落汤鸡”。哎，父亲一定会因为下雨而着了慌，肯定把“肯德鸡”的事抛到九霄云外，我越想越气愤，生气我真倒霉，倒霉会碰到下雨天。哎，我大叹了一口气。在一旁收衣服的妈妈说：“呀呀呀，快要下雨了，你爸还不回家，真是的”啊，“哗哗哗……”下起了雨连妈妈都忘了，爸爸就别想了。“肯德鸡”——“泡汤”了。过了一会儿，门铃响了。我急匆匆地开门，只见父亲全身湿漉漉的，头上的水不时地往下掉，手上还提着2个袋子，我分明看到了袋子上写着“肯德鸡”和“新华书店”两个大字，却不敢相信。原来，父亲为了给我买节日礼物，被大雨淋到，我既兴奋又难过，父亲见我一幅呆楞楞的傻样子，轻轻地对我说：“孩子，节日快乐”。我感动极了，忙接过袋子，拿来了毛巾，给……我知道，父亲为了我给我一些Happy，被雨淋成这个样子;我还知道为了借次机会来告诉我：“做人一定要诚实守信”是啊，当我想到这，就想到帆。父爱就是样，我相信你也有，只要你所想要的，父亲就一定会不惜一切代价，来完成你的愿望……

父亲是全家的顶梁柱，是家里的一片天，是一座坚不可摧的巍峨的大山!多少日子，父亲为了我们这个家，勤劳着，努力着，奋斗着……有多少苦啊，父亲忍受;有多少累啊，父亲承受;有多少难，父亲挺住了;走来了;为了家，为了子女，或许父亲有过委屈，或许父亲有过无奈，但是父亲如山，他都挺过来了，原来，千难万苦都压不跨父亲那顶天立地的脊梁!

到了现在我才懂得父亲不容易想和从前一样，我想说一声爸爸谢谢你……
