同学们，当你每天背着书包上学时，看到过指示行人过马路的斑马线吗?当你走到路口，看到过为安全站岗的红绿灯吗?当你乘坐火车、汽车时，听到过“为了您的安全，请不要把头、手伸出窗外”的热情关照吗?在我们记事时，就常听爸爸妈妈说“干什么事，都要注意安全”;走进校门，老师也教我们要注意安全;识字以后，在工地、路口等危险的地方都看到过“请注意安全”、“安全第一”的牌子。安全真的那么重要吗?是的，它是我们生活中永恒的主题!今天，我在国旗下讲话的题目就是：《只有一生平安，才有美好未来》 根据国家教育部规定，从1996年起，每年三月最后一周的星期一为全国中小学生安全教育日， 今天是全国第十四个校园安全教育日。今年的教育主题是“加强防灾减灾,创建和谐校园”。

据了解，我国每年大约有1.6万名中小学生非正常死亡，中小学生因安全事故、食物中毒、溺水、自杀等死亡的，平均每天有40多人，也就是说每天将有一个班的学生在“消失”。 据中国青少年研究中心的全国性大型调查发现，安全事故已经成为14岁以下少年儿童的第一死因。校园安全涉及到青少年生活和学习方面的安全隐患有20种之多，其中包括交通事故、食物中毒、火灾等等。这些都时刻在威胁着青少年学生的健康成长。 有专家指出，通过安全教育，提高我们中小学生的自我保护能力，80%的意外伤害事故是可以避免的。而导致悲剧发生的一个重要原因，就是我们的青少年欠缺安全防卫知识，自我保护能力差，因此对青少年进行安全教育的形势相当紧迫。所以安全工作是学校工作中的一件大事，是学校工作的重中之重。针对同学们在校园的实际活动特点,我希望大家具体能做到以下几点：

1、要注意交通安全。 严守交通规则，按时回家，不在外逗留。上学、放学路上，必须在人行道内行走，没有人行道的，须靠右边行走;通过有交通信号控制的人行横道，必须遵守信号的规定，没有信号灯过马路时要先观察两边车辆情况，主动避让机动车辆;家庭住址比较偏僻的学生可以与同学结伴回家或要求家长接送;不准在公路上追逐打闹，开展各类游戏活动，要远离公路和铁路;12周岁以下小学生，不准在公路上骑自行车。

2、要注意饮食安全。同学们购买袋装食品时，要看包装是否完好，看清楚生产日期、保质期、生产厂家及地址，不购买“三无”食品，不随便在外就餐，防止食物中毒;不在校门口和街头流动摊点购买零食，防止误食不卫生食品等，造成食物中毒，同时注意不要暴饮暴食。

3、要注意在教室里的安全。 要安全用电，要求大家不要用手触摸电线、灯管和插座，发现电器损坏后不要擅自修理，应向老师和学校报告，请专人修理; 上下楼梯要轻声慢步靠右行，不许将手搭在他人肩上或背上，不许坐在楼梯扶手上往下滑，不准在楼梯、楼道上疯跑打闹;不靠近窗户玩耍探望。进校后不准外出，有事必须请假。 严禁将火柴、打火机等火种带进教室，以免发生火灾。

4、要注意活动安全。 上体育课前要做好准备活动，运动时注意不要剧烈碰撞，以免撞伤或摔伤;活动时，要在体育老师的正确指导下，使用体育器材或参加运动，课余时间活动要注意安全，严禁疯赶打闹或进入有危险的区域;劳动时不要用劳动工具玩打，注意劳动安全;同学间遇到矛盾时，一定要冷静理智，不要动手动脚，以免给自己和同学带来不良后果。夏季，没有家长带领，不得到河塘等地方游泳，以免发生溺水危险。不得到建筑工地玩耍，以免发生危险。

5.要注意外出安全、交友安全。 我们每个人都要外出，每天都要经历很多事，一不小心，就会发生意外事故。因此，要学会保护自己，注意安全，学会自护自救，掌握基本的防护知识和逃生本领，记住家长、老师电话号码和急救电话(110报警、120急救车、119火警)。更要远离网吧或营业性娱乐场所，不和社会上不三不四或行为怪异的陌生人交往，以防上当受骗。 总之，安全重于泰山，重在自我保护，增强安全意识,从我做起,从小事做起,是关键。

一次新的体验 A new experience

Yesterday I did commonweal in library to earn my public service

scores(which is similar to the compulsory credits).I arrived library at 8’clock

in the morning,a librarian let me to wipe the mirror in every toilet from one to

six floor.Then I started to wipe the mirrors.It was been two hours after I

finished all work.I was very tired,but looking at the shiny and clean mirrors I

had wiped, I felt very happy.To be honest,I had never done the things like it at

home,so it was a new experience to me,and it make me realize the hard work of my

parent.

昨天，我在图书馆做公益去获取公益实数(类似于学分)。我早上8点到达图书馆，一个图书馆管理员让我去擦一楼到六楼的厕所里的镜子。然后

早上好!三月，是春风和煦、万木吐绿的美好月份，春天是美丽的，生活是美好的，而生命更是可爱的。今天是第20个全国中小学安全教育日，今年的主题为 我安全，我健康，我快乐。接上级通知，3月31日(明天)18︰00-18：30，湖南卫视《新闻大求真》栏目将播出以中小学安全教育为主题的节目，请通学生在家与父母共同观看，寄宿生在校统一收看。

对于每个人来说，生命都只有一次。而在现实生活中，并非人人都具有较高的安全意识。据了解，我国每年约有1.6万名中小学生非正常死亡：平均每天有40多人，就是说几乎每天有一个班的学生在消失。其中溺水是造成中小学生意外死亡的第一杀手。有关专家认为通过教育和预防，80%的中小学生意外伤害事故是可以避免的。上周已经向每一位同学发放了教育部的致全国中小学生家长的一封信，请同学们与家长认真学习。在今天这个特殊的日子里，根据上级通知精神及我校实际情况，特向同学们提出以下几点要求：

一、树立自我安全意识。

我们要有高度的安全意识、要时时想安全，事事讲安全，充分认识到安全工作的重要性和紧迫性。各班同学协助班主任常对本班教室、宿舍的各种教学、生活设施、用电设备进行安全隐患排查，若发现问题，请及时向后勤管理处汇报，防患于未然。

二、关注课间、自习、活动课安全。

请同学们在课间不做剧烈的活动，避免发生各种伤害事故;上下楼梯靠右走，做到右行礼让不追逐打闹，不拥挤，不抢道;不在教学楼内打球、踢球。严禁攀爬栏杆、围墙。

三、严格规范操作。

体育活动、实验课、实训课及其他户外活动要严格服从老师指挥，严守操作规程，不擅自行动，防止各种安全事故的发生。

四、遵守交通规则。

上放学路上做到文明行路，不骑自行车带人，不骑无安全设施的车辆，上周已经向每一位同学发放一份禁止乘坐非法营运车辆告家长书，希望大家严格执行。

五、防止病从口入。

不在校外和街头流动摊点购买零食、不购买三无食品，防止误食不卫生食品、过期变质食品，造成食物中毒。平常每班级课间都要有专人负责清理班级的垃圾桶，春天是各种细菌最容易滋生的时候，近阶段的诺如病毒就是其中的一种。大家要按照防范诺如病毒的要求，认真做好个人卫生、教室卫生、宿舍卫生，并做好消毒工作。

六、重视每一次应急疏散演练

为确保实现有事不慌、积极应对、自我保护的目的。本着预防为主，防消结合的宗旨，我校从本学期开始，每月一演练，每位学生都要在演练的过程中认真对待，不要嘻嘻哈哈，撤离要有序。

七、加强自我防范意识。

注意公共场所的人身和财产安全，不把珍贵物品、现金放在教室和宿舍，不能给小偷可乘之机。交友要慎重，不将社会闲杂人员及以前的同学带入校园内。与同学间有矛盾时，一定要冷静、要理智，切忌用拳头代替说理。还要定期的上苏州安全教育平台网站去学习安全防范的知识，并及时完成老师布置的网上作业。

Dog is my favorite animal. The reason why I like it most is because it’s very competent. Dog is the best friend for mankind. It is also the best companion for the old people. i spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. i used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation i simply could not afford to do so. i would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. though those examinations were still a year away, i had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things i had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. at first i was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later i thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer i could count on endless happy summers to come. with this in mind i then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. i was not at all bored by this kind of life, for i was sustained by a hope.

In Tianjin,there are many buildings of bygone times.Some of them are

imposing and have great artistic and historic value.However,these buildings do

mot fit in well with each other,because most of them were built by foreigners in

different times.The traffic in the city is not very convenient.The street are

usually narrow and twisted.If the government wanted to have them widened,a large

number of buildings would have to be pulled down.Some buildings are too old and

are nothing more than cottages,and in place of them,some new high buildings have

been set up.However,the new ones are still few and in many places they seem

quite out of place.

Yet those Western-style buildings give Tianjin a different characteristic

from other cities and those new ones lend the city fresh vitality which will

spread rapidly with the reform going on.

Today is mothers birthday, but I didnt know what to by for her.A watch was a good present, but it was too expensive for me to buy.Flowers were not so expensive, but they would die soon.A birthday cake was too sweet and mother didnt like it.

欢迎老师们、同学们回到学校。寒假已经过去，新的学期已经到来，我们将投入到新的学习中去。

老师们、同学们，安全工作是我们学校工作的重点之一，我们学校自始至终就高度重视安全工作。学校建立健全了各种安全制度，成立了安全工作领导小组，加强对全校师生进行经常性的和重点时段的安全教育和安全督导工作，保证了学校的安全工作有组织、有领导、有制度、有落实。

学校通过各种途径，像全校集会、升旗仪式、家长会、班校报、主题班会、安全征文、演讲比赛、校园广播等形式，注意加强对我们的同学进行交通、防火、防水、防毒、防电、防盗、防传染病和防不法侵害等方面的安全知识教育。

但是，不可否认，尽管学校有关领导和我们的班主任老师通过各种形式对我们的同学进行了多方面的安全、法制和纪律教育，采取了各种各样的防范措施，可仍有部分同学无视学校有关的安全纪律规定，做出了一些有可能伤及自身和伤及他人的违纪违法行为。

这部分同学在安全方面确实还存在着许多的问题和隐患，例如课间在楼上楼下追逐疯打;使用体育运动器械时违章操作;违纪玩火玩水摆弄电器;放学后在校内外逗留时间过长;同学之间发生矛盾纠纷后拉帮结伙通过拳脚打架来解决;节假日双休日违纪到危险水域玩水、游泳、捉鱼摸虾等等。

有些同学尤其是在交通安全和防火、防水安全方面存在的隐患更多，他们主要表现在：交通安全意识淡漠，安全责任心差，存有侥幸心理，缺乏安全防范和自我保护意识;不服从交通红绿灯的指挥，随意冲闯红灯;随意横穿公路;不主动给机动车让路，与机动车抢行;违纪到危险水域玩水 、游泳、捉鱼摸虾等等。

从以上种种不安全现象的大量存在同学们不难看出，交通安全和防火、防水安全就是我们同学目前在安全方面最需要注意和防范的几个重点。

同学们，生命只有一次、健康不能重来。生命安全就掌握在我们自己手中。这安全不仅关系我们个人、更关系到我们身后的家庭、学校、整个社会、和整个国家。珍爱生命，增强安全意识，让快乐与幸福伴随我们的童年。

现就本期的安全注意事项说明如下，每位同学一定要时刻遵守，牢记在心。

一、注意校园安全：

1、同学们养成良好的日常行为习惯，上下楼梯靠右轻走，严禁在楼道走廊里奔跑追逐、推拉拥挤，严禁翻爬扶栏、窗户等危险区域。

2、不摸、不动灭火器材、电线、各种开关;为防止火灾和意外事故，除实验外，所有教室及其他场所严禁违反规定使用明火。

A week before Earth Day, posters were put up around our school, calling upon us to join in the actions for a greener earth.

Our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials. We brought to our classroom worn-out clothes, pieces of cardboard and empty plastic bottles, and turned those into dolls, handbags, issue boxes and small vases. A recent survey has been conducted on whether parents feel honored about their children in Zhonghua School. What is symbolically depicted in the bar chart above is that 80% parents regard their children as pride, while, to our surprise, only 60 in every hundred students hold the same viewpoint.

Such a striking contrast is there between the two perspectives that it reveals a common phenomenon. Parents and children hold different attitudes towards the issue. From where I am standing, two reasons are responsible for the finding.

First and foremost, with the increasingly fierce competition, teenagers are prone to suffering from the sense of inferiority. What additionally frustrates the children is peer pressure from parents. Chances are that the adults are inclined to gossip and compare with other friends about the academic performance of their children.

My Grandpa and me

In this old photo, It’s my grandfather and me. My mum took it for us ten years ago. The tall and strong man in the photo was my grandpa. He had black hair, blue eyes, big nose and a big mouth. He was a teacher when he was young. At that time, he was very kind，honest and hardworking. His pupil always said he was a good teacher. Now he is retired. Beside my grandpa was me. I was a cute, healthy baby. But at that time, I had no hair, so I often wore a hat. I was a very naughty baby too. I was always in trouble. But my grandpa said who was not naughty when he was young. Maybe naughty is the children’s nature. So, I like my grandpa very much. I think he knows the children very well.

We were happy in the old house. But now, my family move into Shawan, so we are far away from my grandpa. One year ago, we got a letter from my grandfather. He said he would come to Shawan to see us. I am very excited. I hope that day can come soon. At that time, we will be very happy together.

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

Like every young girl, I pay attention to make myself look pretty, because

if I get more attention from others, I will be very happy. So I start to follow

the models and the movies stars dressing style, then I find that compare to

their skinny bodies, I look like a fat girl. So I have made up my mind to lose

weight. As my body is in the growth period, my parents always ask me to eat

more. When they find me start to eat less, they think I am sick. I tell them

that I want to look beautiful, then my mother says that I am beautiful in her

eyes. If I dont eat, I will look old. I search the Internet. The pictures of

skinny girls scare me, so I give up losing weight. My annoyance is gone, and I

am happy again.

We are students now，so we all have learning habits ourselves，whether or not they are good，let‘s share with everyone. I have some learning habits too.In the evening，i sometimes read alond .textbook，then memorize them.When i take class ，i listen to teacher carefully，and i learn some knowledges from teacher ，then ，i will take notes，i always keep to doing that every class.In the afternoon，i try my best to finish my homewotk，because i want to have long time to review what we have learned in the evening，but i do my homework so hard，when i meet the problems ，i will ask my father to solve them，so every evening，i will learn useful enough knowledge，i always feel very happy when i understand them.But i think it’s important for us to be interested in studying，i think we have to make friends with study，then we could help other classmates to study，because we can exercise ourselves by helping them.
